A decent enough product although much more dearer than when purchased previously. No discount offered for multiple items. Packaging and delivery was first class though but disappointed not to get a reply to a query before ordering.

I bought some of the N scale 'texture' papers.
They have no embossing at all but that's my fault for not reading further into the descriptions. My biggest issue is that some of the brickwork sheets are slightly glossy which is not much use. I now have to see if I can somehow treat them to make them matte.

Bought KX014-00 OO gauge beach huts kit. Found it fiddly and flimsy, not helped by very brief instructions. None of the 'finished' products were good enough to be used, sadly. I'm an inexperienced modeller but have not had the same issues with other kits.

My experience with SCALE MODEL SCENERY is first class, the choice is second to none. The detail on every item is unbelievable, whether it is backgrounds, wheelbarrows, ANYTHING..... its all superb. the staff are great as well, very helpful, if you have an issue, its rectified ASAP. They also keep you up to date with what's going on, be it with the business, or just painting and visiting shows etc. Also, they let you know details of any products that are about to appear on the horizon. These products are good and easy to use if you follow the modelling guides available from the web site. The service was good, but was delayed over the Easter period in the post. All the items ordered arrived undamaged in good condition and ready to be built.

First layout build for a number of years, decided to start with one of SMS’s baseboards in a box. Went together very well, very sturdy build. Highly recommended. Not actually managed to start the layout yet, the wife has “borrowed” the baseboard to display her photographic cards on at a local craft fair.

Have purchased a few of the building kits all I can say is how I enjoyed each build. But what amazed me is how realistic they look when put together. I started with a small building and moved up to building a more complex kit.
If your unsure Justin and others have videos that basically step by step take you through putting a kit together. Well pleased and will be purchasing more in the future.
