Absolute best Italy adventure we could have ever imagined. Our travel agent used the Sceptre group and we are so grateful for them all. Our tour guides and drivers were so wonderful. We visited Pompeii on our way to Sorrento and had the best day with Jean Luca. The highlight of our trip was Rome which we did not expected- golf cart tour was so fun and the Vatican was a bucket list item and our early access ticket was the way to go!!! We had a flight delay and needed a little extra help and they didn’t miss a beat and the entire trip was so smooth and easy. Thank you to our travel agent Jessica and her team at Sceptre. We can not wait for our next adventure to Europe

Sceptre Vacations has been an incredible partner for my travel business. I recently sent a couple to Italy, and they had the time of their lives. Every detail—from the hotels to the private transfers and guided tours—was thoughtfully arranged. There was a small mix-up with the meeting point for one of their tours in Rome, but I reached out to Sceptre and they had it resolved within minutes. The guide even waited for them to arrive. My clients felt so well taken care of and kept thanking me for such a smooth experience. I already have more Italy trips booked through Sceptre and truly trust them to deliver every time.

I am a newish travel agent and have used Sceptre many times. They are always fast to respond to any of my emails or calls. I had a canceled trip due to some earthquakes and they were fast to help me cancel and helping to provide documents for insurance. Jennifer and Julie was awesome!

We had a great experience on our recent trip to Italy. Hotels were in really good locations and easy to walk to all the places on my wife’s check list. Rome was more than I expected and we did the best street food tour and the golf cart tour was an easy way to whip around the city and see it all. Tuscany blew us away with our lunch and wine tasting in San Gimignano. They suggest we stay at Villa Casa Grand and we could not have been happier. It was a quick ride to Florence and we did the cooking class at the hotel. Get the steak at this hotel you won’t regret it.

There were 2 different ones I spoke with at different times but Claudia is very rude. I told her exactly what we were wanting including very specific details. Nothing was like I had asked for not in the area. When I finally heard back 3 weeks later, it looked better so I just had a few questions. To this day, I still have not heard back and it’s been over a month. Needless to say, we booked somewhere else. I wish I had read the reviews first.

Nothing good to say about this company. We were in Scotland and Ireland for 21 days. Every time we tried to check into our hotels we were told there was no reservation for us. It got old real quick and was a problem throughout our entire trip.

My Daughter and I booked her graduation trip to Venice, Cinque Terre, and Florence Italy, with Sceptre Vacations. Honestly it was seamless, all of our drivers were so engaging, kind and just nice!!!!! Each drop off and pick was timely, and efficient. Made traveling during such an uncertain time a pleasure.

I will no doubt return to Sceptre for ever travel need.

These people have the worst customer service/Technical Support team I have ever encountered in my life. I've been trying to contact them about an electronic part I need to repair my TV and no one pick up the phone or answer messages. Good luck trying to get something from Sceptre TS or CS. What a joke, I give up.

We used Sceptre in the summer of 2018 for a trip to Ireland and it was a near total disaster--do NOT use them.

We developed our own itinerary and asked Sceptre simply to book cars and hotels. Although they provided us with vouchers that claimed to represent reservations, those vouchers repeatedly represented nothing--the vendors had nothing for us.

For our first vehicle rental in Dublin, the local car rental company representative pressured us into buying expensive insurance, claiming that the insurance offered through our credit card wouldn't apply because the reservation wasn't charged on our card but rather through Sceptre. Sceptre in New York did not answer the phone (a common occurrence), so we paid. We learned afterward that the local agent was wrong; Sceptre should have informed us of the insurance situation in advance and answered the phone when we called.

The next day, we attempted to check in to our prepaid hotel in Kinsale, but notwithstanding that we had a prepaid voucher in hand, the hotel had no record of our reservation. It was a weekend and a bank holiday, so they had no available rooms. Again, no one at Sceptre was available to answer the phone, and so we relied on the hotel to graciously find us other lodging. They did, although the room was far inferior to what we wanted and had booked and paid for.

When we finally were able to contact Sceptre, we asked them to reconfirm all our remaining reservations. They claimed to have done so and told us that all was fine--except for a problem with our hotel reservation in Galway. The hotel at which we were supposed to have a reservation was now booked. Sceptre did book us another place--which was lovely, but 15 minutes outside of the city rather than in town as we desired.

The biggest problem came a few days later when we arrived at the Cork Airport to pick up another rental vehicle--because of the size of our group, we needed a minivan with an automatic transmission. Again, notwithstanding having a voucher, the car company had no reservation for us. This time, someone did answer the phone at Sceptre, but the agent was completely befuddled and unable to do anything other than tell us to find another rental car on our own. We had to spend vacation hours going to every car rental counter at the Cork airport. There were no minivans available at the Cork airport, from any vendor. There was one car in the entire airport that was marginally workable for our needs, so we grabbed it, notwithstanding that it was smaller than we desired; we were cramped and uncomfortable for the entire second half of our trip.

When we returned home we documented in detail to Sceptre our claim for refunds. They repeatedly delayed in substantive response for months, and only after we threatened to sue did they finally reimburse us.

Bottom line, Sceptre was incompetent, unprofessional and unresponsive.

Have booked through Sceptre Tours three times now and have had a great experience every single time. Would confidently recommend.

Wil was outstanding. The service was great. We had weather delays and had to be rebook and wil did it all seamlessly. They have our highest recommendation.

We have always had a great experience with Sceptre during four trips to Ireland. On our return trip back to the states, we were scheduled on an 8:30 flight, which meant we had to get up at 3:00 am to leave and get to airport, turn in the rented car and check in three hours before our flight. Luckily one of our party had an app with all flight info and it told him our flight was leaving at 12:00pm. (Who wants to get up at 3:00 am if they don’t have to?) when we checked with Sceptre, we were told the flight was leaving at 8:00 am. We had to inform them of the difference in departure times.....when they checked, they told us we were right. Sceptre should have notified us, not the other way around!

A fantastic trip put together by Septre. Looking forward to using them for my next trip to Iceland/Scotland.

Third time using this great Ireland special at Adar Manor. Have used the condos each time and they are hard to beat. Carpets are looking a bit tired...wish there were normal coffee makers (US-type). Miss the pedestrian gate for accessing Adare town without driving and parking. Hope that is temporary due to construction.

You can’t beat Sceptre’s customer service and value. Their partner hotels are first class and Sceptre is extremely accomodating. I can’t believe how much got for such a low price on my most recent trip to Southwest Ireland. My Sceptre agent, Julie Ann, worked with me through many changes and made my trip special.

ACCOMMODATIONS AS WELL AS OTHER PARTS OF RESERVATION ALL WENT SMOOTHLY.

I loved the experience of staying in a castle. This is my second time, and I will do it again.

Great trip, all accommodations were taken care of all we had to do what get from one city to the next. Would have liked to have stayed a little closer to Dublin on the last night. We had to leave for the airport so early to catch our flight.

Great Staff, excellent customer service. Our package to Ireland was fantastic- excellent hotels! I would travel using their company again!
