I really enjoyed the course!, I wanted to improve my skills in animation and learn some principles and tools of after effects and, I think I Improve a lot!

I learned some very valuable information. I feel like it could have been more intense. I think School of Motion should look into diversity among their teachers. Overall it was a good experience and I will be taking more classes at SOM.

This course exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to take their motion design / animation skills to the next level. The lessons are insightful, the homework / projects are well thought out and the online community is an exciting thing to be a part of.

School of Motion is a really good and intensive school, with a big effort anyone can improve their skill in animation.

School of Motion has a well-structured curriculum. I completed the After Effects Kickstart course. I came into AEK knowing some things about after effects. But every week, in every lecture, and every assignment I learned things I didn't know. I re-learned things I had an understanding of but with more context on why things work the way they do or a new way to think about those things. The assignments were great ways to put into practice what we learned in the lectures and helped establish a good workflow habit. The course was rigorous and demanding, but in a good way. It pushes you to get out of your comfort zone and pushes your brain cells to intake as much knowledge as possible.
I had a blast and will be taking many more courses in the near future.

The amount of content is massive. I learned so much! I will, likely be going back again and again to soak up more!

Oh it has been a great experience. After Effects always seemed so big and confusing to me but with a teaching assistant and Nol who took the course, big concepts feel small to me now

SOMO is one of the best online animation and motion design schools that I know and have had the privilege of enrolling with. I have now done a few of their courses and can highly recommend each and every one! They are certainly worth every cent :) Thanks again for an awesome experience!

I took my first class at SOM (design kickstart), it was great !

This course is so well designed. The lessons and homework are all brilliant. Challenging to keep up (especially if you have a day job) but worth it.

I'm very satisfied with my experience with the After Effect Kickstarter course. The lessons were thought out in a fun way to learn quite a lot of content for such a short time. I wish I wasn't working at the same time I was taking the course so I could train and explore more, but I feel like I achieved my goal of learning not just the basics but quite a lot of how the software works.

The content of the After Effects Kickstart course was thorough and there was plenty of it. I wouldn't say it was hard work as such, but you have to be prepared to put the hours in to reap the rewards. There was plenty of learning material to get through, including lessons, PDFs and podcasts and I definitely had a much better understanding of both motion graphics and After Effects upon completion of the course.

It was a brain-melting experience … in a good way! So much information that was given in digestible chunks. I had 4 pages of notes from the extra non-homework videos alone. The podcasts were another good piece of the puzzle that allowed some 'down time' to work and listen. The only thing I might change would be the assignments. While necessary, it was difficult (for me …with a full-time job and family) to really put in the time to flesh them out. Long nights were spent. :D

All said, it was excellent and I'll go to School of Motion again for my next training!

School of Motion looks awesome from the outside (YouTube and other social) but that doesn't begin to scratch the surface! This course was amazing: I am now an incredibly better animator, more confident, and hired.
I not only recommend School of Motion, but I will be taking more courses with them.

I was able to learn a lot for a short time. Those skills made me able to work as a freelancer. And the community is just amazing, I feel very welcome.
