Both by daughters completed D of E Bronze and one has gone on to do D of E Silver. They particularly loved the volunteering aspect - Great experience for both and great information and support from School of Outdoors
My son really enjoyed the experience. The weather for the practice camp was dreadful, we dropped the boys off in the snow but felt reassured by the judgement of the organisers that the children would be ok despite the predicted sub zero temperatures, by being allowed to take an bag with an extra sleeping bag and layers , which the School of the Outdoors transported for the children . Thanks so much for a great experience.

A confident and competent organisation who have run DofE at Bronze and Silver level for my kids. They seem to make it fun and safe, and give our kids confidence and praise, reassurance and foster their ability.

My two teenage children underwent the DofE expedition (and practice) - they loved being part of a team and doing something different..it was expertly led, with leaders getting the best out of all individuals, and very well organised and communicated.

The support and enthusiasm was amazing. My child benefited from being outside her comfort zone. Appreciate the opportunity.
Great organisation and organisers. They made the whole experience memorable for my son. A great learning experience. Highly recommended.

Bronze award, daughter enjoyed her weekend. Instructors were fun and helpful. Daughters feet were hurting so they took her bag so she didn’t have to carry the last bit which was kind. They emailed to check she was ok when we returned home.

Good communication from them at all times

Too much money. No explanation of expenses. So that my child is not therefore doing any more awards...I just can't afford it.
