This company is bullshit. They said they will reach out to me for the damage on my piano and they never did. I e-mailed them twice and got no reply. Don't go with this company. Find another one. Many of them are similar price. No need to take the risk and use their service.

Great logistics company for overseas shipping. They handle the communication and the paperwork diligently, and the moving crew also did a great job. Totally recommended!

I moved my apartment from Manhattan to Paris with zero complaints at a price that was much lower than two other quotes I received. And in fact the price even fell more as move out time approached and we realized I did not need as much pre-packing materials nor the crating for fine art objects I was shipping. My paintings, glass sculptures, clothes, kitchen equipment, rare books, bicycle and few items of furniture all arrived in perfect condition. The office team was extremely knowledgeable and the packers who arrived were extremely efficient and respectful of everything being packed, and worked in a atmosphere of good humor. Cannot imagine a better experience. The shipping took a bit longer than anticipated but the reason was waiting for the rest of the container to be filled by other clients before a shipping date was fixed, that is really nothing they can control. On the France side, customs paperwork clearance and the delivery staff were also very efficiently done. I would not hesitate to use this company again!

Avoid Schumacher Cargo Logistics: Predatory Pricing and Deceptive Practices

​I am writing this to warn anyone considering Schumacher Cargo Logistics. My experience has been a nightmare of deception and hidden costs.

​We initially did a video call with their team to ensure an accurate quote based on our actual belongings. However, once they had our items in their possession, the final price skyrocketed to four times the original estimate. I feel completely taken advantage of and deceived by what can only be described as a bait and switch tactic.

​The "additional fees" haven't stopped there. Since the pickup, I have received two more bills, each exceeding $1,000. It feels less like a moving service and more like my belongings are being held hostage for ransom.
​To make matters worse, the customer service is nonexistent once they have your money and your items. I confronted them regarding these outrageous discrepancies and have been met with total silence for over two weeks.

​Do not trust this company with your move or your money. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and have turned a stressful move into a financial hostage situation.

The people really made the difference in helping to take the pressure off of my shoulders and I could just think about what needed to go. They were smooth and efficient, and addressed all of my needs and concerns, and managed to pull off a few miracles during the packing.

The teams at both origin and destination were stellar. This was an international move, which means that Schumacher organized the destination company in a partnership of sorts. The packing and loading team at origin were Schumacher employees and this matters because they functioned as a trained team, ensuring nothing was overlooked. They were also kind and respectful. Although I'm still unpacking, I can say thus far that nothing has broken and all of my furniture, some antique, arrived in exactly the same condition - no broken panes of circa 1750 glass or scratches on the wood. For the boxes I'm still unpacking, there are no dents or smashed corners. This speaks to the care taken during the loading process. Additionally, Schumacher charges by volume rather than weight. All the other moving companies I queried for this move charge by weight, and there were considerable discrepancies between estimated weight and the actual weight, which would have been much more expensive had I used these other companies, upwards of 20 to 25%. My experience with Schumacher was excellent from all angles, customer service, pricing, and the actual moving teams. As this is my 14th move, I have had quite a range of experiences, and I can confidently affirm that my experience with Schumacher has been positive. I highly recommend their services.

We recently moved from the UK to the US through a UK removal company who subcontracted Schumacher cargo logistics to be the local agent for customs clearance and final delivery into our new home. Schumacher got the job done, but the communication was abrupt, sometimes rude, and often unhelpful, and their web portal was far from easy to navigate. Our unpack was outsourced to a 3 party partner, who then outsourced to another company. This would have been fine, but we were not notified of this maze of sub contractors and it was quite confusing on the day of unpacking. To top it all off, we paid for an unpack service however the unpack crew refused to unpack all our belongings and remove boxes. All in all, we were very unhappy with the service provided.

I had an outstanding experience with Schumacher Cargo Logistics, Inc., and I can’t say enough good things about both the company and the agent I worked with, Filip Michelet.

From start to finish, they were nothing short of awesome. I’ll be the first to admit—I probably wasn’t the easiest customer. I asked a ton of questions and wasn’t always the most prompt with getting my paperwork in. Despite that, Filip and the team were incredibly patient, professional, and helpful every step of the way.

Most importantly, they made sure my cars shipped from Poland arrived safely here in New Jersey without any issues. That kind of reliability and attention to detail is hard to find.

If you’re planning on shipping anything internationally, I highly recommend Schumacher Cargo Logistics. Truly top-notch service all around!

They were efficient initially and responsive; however I wasn't sufficiently advised by them on this move with my small shipment -only 50% filled. Packers were ok, friendly. Communication for me - an individual was lacking - no advice nor any cost saving suggestions; I'm not an enterprise. I'm NOT getting any remuneration, that's sure...only trying to help other individuals like me in difficult situations NOT ENTERPRISES.

My move planning was made a lot easier with Schumacher and Nathans help. Everything was super efficient picking up and packing.

There was never a question that was never answered nor was I not kept in the loop as to what was going on. When it came time for the shipping company to come and pack up my items, the gentleman who did it were incredible professional, clean, neat and quick. I can’t recommend this company any higher than giving them five stars if I could’ve given them 10 stars I would . This is a company that you can completely trust.

I contacted them for a quotation. Then I learned about Schumacher's low rating across many review sites, so I contacted my liaison at the company to confirm I would not be hiring the company. Schumacher continues to market me and send more emails. Extremely annoying and unprofessional.
