My son’s been working with John for 6 months and the improvement has been marked. His grade has increased, and his confidence in Chemistry has grown.

Topics are explained clearly and John is patient and creates a supportive learning environment.

Excellent tutor. Totally changed the way I viewed lots of topics in my A level chemistry course; has helped and is helping me to do the absolute best I can in A levels.

When my son first started year 12 he was averaging E at best in his mocks however when he started tuition with John he started to grasp and understand the content as the lessons are spent learning and pinpointing the specification and with lots of exam practice to hone exam technique which is essential to do well at alevel. John also has spent the time to make a website with indepth and simple to understand PowerPoints with for each specification point with exam practice. On top of that If my son had any questions about something in-between lessons John would always be available to contact. Ever since my sons mock grades have improved by several grades in the next set of mocks.

I started with John right from the beginning of Year 12 and I am extremely happy with his approach to tutoring. He is extremely intelligent and breaks down challenging topics in order to ensure I have fully grasped the concept of them. He is patient and supportive and has an excellent teaching style. His resources are extremely useful and informative making excellent revision aids.

My son has found John's sessions excellent. His experience is invaluable.

Sciexcel is a great website with a number of different revision sources.
As a student studying a level chemistry, sciexcel has helped me get an understanding with various topics in the course especially with past exam questions.

John is a fantastic Science teacher. He is kind and patient and he explains difficult concepts in easily digestible ways.
