I love this fabric - it's so interesting and the embroidered pattern feels very organic in its design. I only ordered a metre length for a curtain to cover up a black washing machine and it's redefin... See more

Ordered some fabric samples
Ordered some fabric samples hoping to get some curtains made but some of the patterns I ordered had a large design and they sent tiny sample sizes do you couldn’t see the pattern or all the colours used. Weirdly for smaller designs they sent bigger samples so I emailed and asked for slightly larger samples of the designs we couldn’t see and was told I had to buy more as they couldn’t accommodate. I could have reordered but no guarantee I would get a different bit of the pattern I had. The attitude of the response has put me off using them.
Stylish fabric and quick service
I am very happy with the service from Scion Living. I received the requested free samples quickly and then ordered enough fabric for cushion covers. My fabric order arrived via UPS within 2 days on a roll. The customer service team replied to my email query very quickly.
Complete shambles
Complete shambles
What an appalling experience.
If you read just one line: DO NOT SHOP HERE. Buy from one of their many retail partners who know what they're doing.
If you have time, here's the horror story: I ordered a duvet cover from the online store, but received an incorrect item a couple of days later. Wrong pattern, wrong size. The invoice said "return information on the back" - but it was blank. Rang the phone number several times - no answer. Wrote to them - no answer. Wrote to them again - no answer. Finally, two weeks later I got an apologetic message. They refused to send out the correct item until they had received the return - which was already inconvenient; but then did not acknowledge my return for THREE WEEKS - and that was after 3 chaser emails. Their excuse? "staff illness". OK, so they finally sent me a replacement, and it was AGAIN the wrong item. Honestly couldn't make this up. Wrote to them immediately; no reply. Wrote again; no reply. TWO WEEKS later I finally received a response.
These guys need to completely overhaul their operations: from pick and pack, to customer service, to returns proposition (why do you need to email them??!), to returns handling. Every single step in the offer is broken. Jaw droppingly bad.
Don't go anywhere near this awful company
How can this awful company not have more dreadful reviews? Why can I not rate them zero stars? Their stuff is ok but not if you are hoping to return!! The only way to return is to email them (no other details, no phone number, their instant messaging is 'currently offline' and then wait. And wait. After a week and three emails - they eventually send an apologetic message saying their returns department will be in touch! Seriously? What a shambles. I would never ever order from them again. Or buy them from a better outlet (John Lewis for example) out of principle. Utterly gobsmacked that such bad practice can be found from a large company. I buy lots online (to my husband's disgust!) from all sorts of businesses and never have I come across such a ludicrous system. Just give me an address. How hard can it be? (Clearly, 'very hard' is the answer. Get a grip.)
