I hire a bike from this company firstly…

I hire a bike from this company firstly they are very comparative about the bike and second they didn’t charge any deposit and thirdly they also cover all insurance including this amount provide services as well . I must recommend this company for food delivery drivers

Been with scoots hire for a year now and they have treated me well any problems they sort it right away and if they cannot do this right away then they trade the bikes and they always treat me with respect defo recommend to other as well

Amazing company

They have been amazing for me when I have had an issue with my bike they have sorted it out straight away for me even when I missed a payment they asked when I could pay it they was really nice about it , would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to start.

Been with scoots hire now for some time the customer service is great I started off with a 50cc moped weren’t for me the girls at the office were great and swapped me over to a 110cc and I’m loving it the bike is priced great and very affordable!

🚨 Unprofessional & Misleading Business Practices – Avoid at All Costs! 🚨

My experience with Scoots Hire has been nothing short of a nightmare. After missing a single payment, they falsely claimed my moped was reported stolen and that my insurance was canceled—which turned out to be completely untrue.

Instead of professional communication, they resorted to threatening emails and unfair penalty charges. Their fine system is confusing and predatory, charging £20 for a failed payment and another £20 if you miss paying the first fine—essentially doubling the penalties unfairly.

🚫 Customer service is unprofessional. They avoid direct accountability and try to shift blame onto the customer while ignoring proper collection arrangements.

If you’re thinking of renting from them, be prepared for aggressive tactics, misleading threats, and hidden fees. This company needs to be investigated for its unethical business practices.

👎 Avoid at all costs! 👎

Thank you for your review, we value feedback both good & bad. Unfortunately if a payment is missed & a customer is not communicating with us we have to take steps to recover our property, it is unfair to us as a business to expect to continue using a service that has not been paid for. A £20 administration charge will be added to an account for a missed direct debit, this is cancelled if the payment is made on the same day the payment failed. A £20 administration fee will also be charged for bus lane/ parking fines as we have to complete & return paperwork to the relevant authorities. We do not charge £20 twice for the same issue. If a customer has not paid for the hire/ insurance on a bike we are within our rights to collect the vehicle as soon as possible to limit our losses and hire the vehicle out to another customer, not 10 days later at the customers request when they continue to not pay for the hire & insurance, we do not hide any fees these are disclosed verbally prior to hire & are in our terms and conditions. We currently have 264 mopeds & scooters on hire & have recently added 235 new Yamaha's to our fleet. A number of customers have returned to us more than once, I believe this speaks for itself.

Such a bad company just keep on cutting…

Such a bad company just keep on cutting direct debit from your account even after if you are not hiring bike. I will suggest not to hire from them

Thank you for the review, the direct debit for hire is stopped on the day the bike is collected & any over payments for hire are then refunded. However if there is an arrears plan set up on an acount this will continue until the arrears have been paid off, if you believe you have an incorrect payment coming out of your account please contact our office as soon as possible so we can look in to the matter for you.
