Thank you for your review, it is disappointing that you are not happy with your bike I can see you have been hiring a bike for food delivery since April and we have only had to exchange your bike once in that time for a service & we have no notes regarding any other bike issues.

Broken bike left me jobless now.

Broken bike left me jobless now.

They gave me a bike which I relied on for work for a few weeks until it wouldn't run anymore and I couldn't make it to work so I got fired, brilliant.

Previously the person on the phone said I would be able to go from paying weekly to monthly when I asked but to do that I have to pay 100 odd pound??

Furthermore, they still charged me for the week I wasn't able to use the bike 60 pound which genuinely makes 0 sense.

The bike cut off whilst riding, it starts but then dies.

Thank you for the feedback Lewis, we are sorry that your bike let you down, the tracking suggests that you accidently left the ignition on which flattened the battery hence the bike not starting. Our staff member was correct in advising that we can take monthly payment for hire, but only in advance, unfortunately we do not allow anyone to pay hire in arrears.

Good hire company

Been using Scoots hire for nearly a year now never really had an issue with them they are always quick to answer the phone the staff are usually polite and understanding my Honda SH125I that I was hiring was previously stolen from outside my property and when I informed scoots hire they was happy to deliver me a new bike (same model) within 4 days which I wasn’t expecting and was very helpful, I can see some other people have had some bad things to say but honestly I’ve never had that sort of experience
Keep up the good work scoots hire and please take everyone’s feedback onboard

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company.
My son has had 4 bikes in space of 6 weeks.
Bikes are faulty and dangerous.
He was offered 1 week free hire but still took money out of bank .
Bikes are not in good condition they are dangerous. Son had to collect bike from hire place . Got 10 mins up road front wheel was wobbling turns out bolts were loose.
2 days after next bike the gears were shifting themselves he was nearly thrown off bike.
He has lost so much money with not being able to get to his job.
Disgusting company DO NOT USE . 77.00 pw for a dangerous unsafe faulty bike .

Poor communication

Hired a Honda 125cc from Scoots for 6 weeks. No worries about the bike, was a great little runner.

The customer service has been awful however. My first phone call about arranging a pickup, the woman over the phone said I need to give a weeks notice. When I called up 8 days before I needed it picked up, they told me it was now two weeks. They’ve now picked it up 8 days ago, no word of a refund, as they take a full months payment out. Something I couldn’t afford, and something that I had told them about.

Seems like they’re going to hold this money from me for as long as they can, while I can’t pay for essentials.

I would like to give zero ⭐️ but no option.
I rented for 6 weeks. Have 2 times brake down. AA is out of service evening. Just call but not answering.
10 days the bike not been used, but you still pay your fee.
After 1 week i asked for my refund and the answer we are too busy and we have only 2 mechanic.
This company don't care the customer just pay your rental and go.
Never again.

This company is absolutely shocking…

This company is absolutely shocking gave me a 125cc told me it does 65 turns out it only does 45 max can not drive on the highway that slow anyways called them up and they told me they could replace with another bike all went ahead then I rang just to Conform that time they said the driver is I’ll they said they would of rang me but the clearly did not anyway I had to drive all the way down there instead as you can imagine how fun that would of been at that speed yeah dangerous is fair to say when I got there I swapped the bike over and my gets did not feel ok I did mention that to them and they told me it’s ok we’ll I got home I still had that problem rang up again once I got threw they told me I had to wait a further week for someone to collect the bike when they turned up the mechanic said this was dangerous to drive and these bikes gears have a problem of going yet they still rent them out swapped the bike over for the exactly same bike and I still have the exactly the same problem and I can’t drive it yet I’m paying for a service I expect to receive that service only fair wright I’ve been trying to ring this company from Friday and now Monday again still no answer I also have a flat tyre so I actually can’t drive it tried to ring up recovery number don’t even work surprisingly so I’m saying to anyone who wants to rent off this company stay well clear from them soon take your money but yet don’t want to help when you need it shame on them

SCOOTS HIRE

I've been hiring my "50cc kymco super 8" for about the 5th month now i think it is. Im going up to 125cc but love the look and colour of my 50cc i have now i dont want to send it back for another one but need faster scooter so no choice im gutted.
Its been reliable and running same as the 1st day got it.
That scooter as got me work and back home within 20 mins even tho there was hours of standstill traffic jams. You just ride up to front of queue ts been a godsend.
"SOPHIE".always answers my calls and now knows who i am. Shes lovely, polite and always there to help.

SCOOTS HIRE ARE A ☆☆☆☆☆ COMPANY AND WHATEVER YOU HIRE FROM THEM WILL BE WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Im gonna hopefully be hiring for months to come yet, its money well spent so im sending a big huuuge..
THANKU TO "SCOOTS HIRE" and sophie of course.
I wouldn't have my job if it wasn't for you, travel would be a nightmare to and from work
So if anyone needs, very reliable and cheap transport, then.. "SCOOTS HIRE".. is the place to go 😁

my three months with scoots have had…

my three months with scoots have had their ups and downs, to start with a great service, i had a small collision with a driver who made off from the scene, scoots were understandable about the situation and gave me an early upgrade, very impressed, then i was charged for internal damage that i dont believe was caused in my low impact bump, totaling to near enough £280 i argued this and was given a new invoice, very well handled.
my chain fell off on my cbf, a comon mechanic failure, i had only put 600 miles on the bike and regularly checked the tightnes and the lubrication of the drive system, i was stranded with a 2 hour wait with the aa not scoots fault but nevertheless still pretty frustrating. i was then charged £36 for the privallage of this ruining my day and losing me a days wages, not only this i was also charged for 1/2 a tank of petrol at near as makes no difference £2 a litre because of their 'sur charge'
utter joke.
on the other hand the staff are good, i shall update my review when the outcome of my dispute with the new invoice is settled.
