Money disappeared

Had some credit when my daughter left school, it was never refunded, when I asked for a refund, two transactions had been made in the new term on my daughters account, as its finger print recognition I can only assume the catering company decided to pretend there was transactions rather than bother with the refund. So time consuming

So time consuming. I have to go to each of my 3 kids' pages and put in a payment amount. Then I'm redirected to an external site to pay. Then I log back in and can start recording what my kids want for their lunches. Why can't we pick the meals we want and then check out after, you know... like every other on line shopping experience.

Slow, clunky, torture

Endless button clicking, unintuitive, page headings unhelpful - this app is nonsense.

Why are parents expected to put up with this rubbish? Are we being punished?

Awful app

Awful app, not fit for purpose. UI poor, none of the use cases work correctly. Not designed for mobile use. Just bad.

Winner for bad UI design

It's amazing that such best UI can exist in 2024. Having to navigate back and forth, l am extremely disappointed with my experience using Scopay. The user interface is incredibly unintuitive and makes even simple tasks unnecessarily complicated.

This platform needs serious improvements to be considered reliable. Until then, I cannot recommend Scopay to anyone. But as mentioned but others the school forces us to use it. Probably why they still exist, it must be free.

What have you done

What have you done, before the update the app was easy to use and totally user friendly. I would have thought a “update” wound mean it got easier. You’ve gone backwards. I’d absolutely delete this app but the fact I need it for my sons school.
Please sort this out ASAP

The worst app ever.

The worst app ever.
Given the tech available these days and the number of schools/pupils and parents that have to use it, it is the worst app I have to use every time I have to make a payment.
I hate having to use it.
Nobody could have invented a worse product.
And nobody could have made one harder to use.
1star this too many!

Utterly utterly useless and unreliable

Utterly utterly useless and unreliable. I'm shocked schools still use this. Every time I try to pay something there are issues. I'm actually surprised when a transaction goes through without any issues. You do not deserve 1 star.

This is an awful platform for payments…

This is an awful platform for payments - unreliable, glitchy, non-intuitive and simply not fit for purpose. The interface is also badly dated - this appears to be sat on last decade's tech. There's nothing wrong with that in itself, as good foundations were built back in the day generally for payment platforms, but the laziness of not even updating the user interface here isn't really excusable. It frequently fails on the basics (i.e. selecting an item and wanting to pay for it) and in this day and age it's simply staggering how poor this is in its ultimate execution. Is it two optically-challenged people with very basic/flawed developer skills running a platform from someone's bedroom and just winging it as they continue to amazingly retain their school contracts for its use? How this wins tenders for school payments provision is beyond me. That says everything about the state of not only tendering processes for public bodies, but also how below standard products seem still able to get the time of day. Astounding, but not in a positive way! What's more, Scopay/Tucasi clearly don't either pay attention or care about the feedback and negative reviews on here, otherwise they would bother to reply or actually improve what they offer. I appreciate this is a scathing review, however being a (very) reluctant user of this payment 'solution' for many years, and based on my experiences with this, I have to conclude it as an example of incumbent provision which simply isn't good enough.

I absolutely hate this app

I absolutely hate this app. Sometimes it takes hours for the credit to show on my son's account. With other apps like ParentPay and WisePay, it's almost instant. That means my son often goes without any food. I don't know why the school chose this app. It would be good to know why this is.

Balance is wrong

Balance is wrong. Says there’s 60p on the account when there should be £2.40. My son went without food today!
