After purchasing the first Portknockie whisky, and both Gins it all went wrong. Like the other reviews here, money has been taken for the Portknockie Harbour Series more than 12 months ago. Then nothing. No reply to emails, calls or direct messages. This is now beyond a joke. Trading Standards to be involved and legal advice to be taken. If only Scotch Whisky World would communicate, even if it's bad news.
DO NOT USE SCOTCH WHISKY WORLD.

This is the biggest scam company in scotland, won't reply to anything, ran away from their unit in anniesland, takes everybody's money, won't send goods, I paid 255pounds last July for 3 bottles of portknockie, never sent, just thieves, need to be found and jailed, SCUM OF THE WHISKY TRADE,please don't give money.

Order has failed to arrive after several weeks and all attempts at contacting the company have been met with silence. No response to email and no answering of the phone.

Do not buy from them, they have not sent me my 3 bottle set . They don’t respond the emails

I paid £255 in July for 3 bottles of portknockie, was to be bottled in AUGUST, NINE MONTHS later, still waiting, won't reply to me, ABSOLUTE SCUM, WE NEED TO REPORT THIS AS THEFT.

Scam or scum not sure what description to place first. Tried to get money refunded through my bank. But no joy there either. The amount of security and checks done these days. Yet these criminals sail on by. Impossible to get hold of them, the owner must be a proper 💩 🏠

Absolute disgrace. Do not buy anything they are a complete fraudulent company. Would love to be there when karma hits them. Shame though that banks do not get together with police to close these scum down before they rip more people off.

No delivery, no communication, no nothing

What can this company do : for starters try to deliver when they take the order and the cash , I have emailed and filled in their on line enquiry for to no avail. They seem to be a shower of sheisters.
So unless I receive a refund or the whisky that I have ordered ( order’s deliver in 3 to 4 days they promised) 4 weeks I’ve been waiting now .

Do not purchase anything from Scotch Whisky world, if you have done so hopefully you used your credit card so you can make a fraud claim otherwise your money is gone!

All was going well and I did receive some of my initial orders but some orders where missing items and when my pre-orders started not turning up even though the pre-orders had been bottled & released to market my alarm bells started going off! No one would pick the phone up or reply back to my voicemails or emails. Like others I even turned up to their stated addresses in Glasgow but they had fled the premises.

The only way I could get someone to actually contact me was by pestering there charted accountants in Glasgow for a number which got me a very quick email response from Sonia but I still never got my refunds which Ashley agreed to refund by bank transfer, therefore, I have had to claim against SWW for 4 orders amounting to over £1000 though my credit cards frauds department.

Via company’s house I found the following information on Scotch whisky world, it trades as “Hoteru Kojo LTD” SC 708505 owned by a lawyer under the names of Mr Deepak Rai Bali & Anita Bali. The delivery’s I did receive were sent by Gaurav Rai Bali.

Wish everyone the all the luck in getting there refunds.

My rating would be minus one if I could. I ordered in June for estimated delivery August. No order, no refund and no response to emails and phone calls.

Scotch whiskey world is a con and I’ve reported them to the U.K. fraud office. Disgraceful their website is still live and taking orders.

They also delete negative reviews off their social media to try and hide the disgruntled customers.

ordered last may 2022 whisky has never arrived they are still advertising today the same bottle saying it is a stunning bottle of glen moray the only stunning thing about this company is that they are still allowed to advertise or trade bunch of con men do not use

They don't deliver the goods, they don't reply to emails nor the telephone. £166 ordered 14th December and since nothing

DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE! Absolute total scam, been calling and emailing for weeks. Got one response from someone called Ashley , saying they would revert to me in the morning. Nothing since that. I’ve raised a dispute with my bank to get the money back.

Avoid. I cancelled a pre order I had placed and they did not refund the money (£95), despite numerous calls / E mails / using the contact form. Do not use this company.

This is a follow up from my last review. As previously stated I work not too far from Scotch Whisky world's office in Glasgow and I paid them a visit. The unit was closed up and the workers next door told me that it had been closed for over a year as the tenent had been evicted for non payment of rent. I discovered that the person running this site is a solicitor, I have his name and I am in the process of reporting him to the law society in Scotland.Maybe he will respond to their letters.

I ordered a bottle of a 19yo Ardbeg Traigh bhan for my father on 08/11. Asked that it was not delivered until 15/11. 30/11, Order still "processing". No response to any of my emails, no answer on the phone and no response to voicemails.

Have now raised a retail dispute with my credit card issuer for the £250 I've been robbed of.

I've ordered from them in the past and had no issues, but should have read the most recent reviews before ordering again.

Shocking company.
Took my money for order, but no confirmation email received and order never arrived.
Never answer phone.
Initially responded to my first email saying my order would be sent out next week, then never replied to my further chase up’s.
Think they are a fraudulent company and have initiated refund through credit card company, as communications non existent with scotchwhiskyworld.
Wish I’d read reviews on here first as seems a lot of people had same experience!

Money taken. No products sent. No communication. Fraud action commenced to retrieve money. AVOID - DO NOT BUY

How are these people still allowed to trade after the amount of customers who have been treated so poorly. I placed and paid for an order like so many others it seems on the 10th of June, almost 6 months ago. Since then I have tried everything for some information as to why there has been nothing delivered, even written to thier so called address which was returned to sender.
Do not use these people, I wish I hadn't!
