The team at ScotFoam were efficient, effective and professional throughout the whole process from initial survey to final installation. Unfortunately my floorspace didn't quite have enough room to do the full job, but a reasonable discount was applied and overall I'm really happy with the service provided.

Quick and tidy installation. Good price, compared to other quotes. Lots of reassurance about the product not causing trouble with damp. And our house already feels warmer.

This is the second time we've used Scot Foam to insulate underneath the floorboards of our period property. The difference to the drafts is incredible, the rooms stay cosy. The personnel at the company are a joy to work with, very knowledgeable and explain everything - and no mess ever left!

Barry arrived as scheduled and provided a thorough consultation regarding cavity wall insulation. After inspecting the property, he discovered that insulation had already been installed prior to my moving in, contrary to what was stated in my EPC report. Although it turned out to be a wasted trip, Barry was extremely helpful and professional throughout. I appreciate the time he spent travelling to me, and hopefully, this review will be useful to others.

I'll start by saying that i emailed 5 companies with enquiries on appointments for cavity wall insulation and loft insulation. Only one out of the 5 responded with a phone call within 3 days and that was Barry from ScotFoam, he made an appointment for Mike to come and survey our property for the works we requested to be done.
Mike duly turned up on the day and on time, so no waiting about all day. Mike was courteous, polite and informative whilst carrying out the survey. After he finished he explained the process as to how both insulation works would be carried out and that we would receive a quote that day and we did and accepted.

3 weeks later and Mike turned up and started with insulation of the loft whilst respecting our property at all times after he finished he tidy away his dust sheets and then vacuumed up the whole area including the staircase, very impressed.

The rest of the team turned up and the work started on the front elevation of the property again respecting our garden and property at all times. The guys were polite, cheerful and informative as the work proceeded. Then job done and again tidied up as if they had never been on site. Again very impressed.

Barry and his team were great, couldn’t really fault their service. Barry was very knowledgeable and honest, he advised me on some DIY options for the attic when he easily could have charged us for a simple job. We went with cavity wall insulation, the install guys were fantastic. They kept me updated and answered my questions along the way, the left everything neat and tidy and patched the render really well, you can hardly see where the holes were drilled.

I also felt they were competitively priced and advised us about the HES grant.

Barry was great at the initial assessment and our installers Mike and Stevie did a great job on the install, you can barely see where they have drilled to put the insulation in and they left absolutely no mess at the house

I would 100% recommend scotfoam, we would use them again in an instant and indeed will be when we get round to adding underfloor Insulation to the house

From Barry first measuring up, the insulation was installed within a week. The lads were quick and efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Would recommend to anyone looking to install cavity wall insulation.

Great company to deal with from start to finish. Barry was out within a matter of days from my initial email to look at the building I required insulating. He went through my option explaining them making sure we settled on the right one for the job. The guys turned up on time, were very friendly and professional and promptly had the job finished and everything back exactly how they found it. Couldn’t recommend these guys more. Excellent workmen. Everything was explained very thoroughly before the job. On the day the men were faultless. Did a great job and cleaned up well. We now have the benefit of a better insulated house.

10/10 service, Barry came to my house and explained benefits/process of getting Cavity Wall Insulation installed and how to apply for government funding. Within 2 weeks I had a date booked to be installed. The lads that done the installation were great, polite, informative and clean and tidy! It was a very good experience dealing with ScotFoam and the company's workmen were great too. They came when they said they would; worked without a break; were pleasant and efficient, even going above and beyond to make our floor hatch more user-friendly. They tidied up well too. Would definitely recommend.

Barry was very friendly and professional. He responded promptly when we asked for a quote and explained what the work would involve. When we were ready to have the insulation fitted he quickly arranged for the work to be carried out. The boys fitting the insulation arrived on time and tidied up leaving everywhere clean and tidy. We were even sent photos of the loft insulation to show us what had been done. We would recommend ScotFoam.

Barry at ScotFoam was personable and helpful throughout. He reviewed our home and gave us an honest assessment of what he would recommend we do to insulate it, in the right way at the right time, even if that meant not everything we planned to contract ScotFoam to do. He supported us in waiting to go through the HES funding process and as soon as we were ready was efficient in getting the team over to carry out the work. The insulation to our cavity walls and underfloor is great and we feel our house is noticeably warmer.
