Highly recommend this company! Great service from the initial visit where Barry explained the product and gave an affordable quote. None of what we've had previously where the salesperson quoted a ridiculous price before lowering it after learning we would be getting other quotes. The team arrived on the day as planned, did an excellent job and cleaned up after them.

The whole experience was seamless from start to finish.

The project was professionally managed by Scot Foam, with minimal disruption. It was a massive advantage as we both work from home. Any additional questions regarding the product or the service offered by Scot Foam were answered promptly. On top of that, the service was affordable in comparison with alternatives available on the market and peers offering similar services.

A few weeks after the installation we already feel a difference.

These guys really know their product. From Barry who came to our house and explained everything in great detail and answered all our questions to the other Barry and his team who did the job. Very professional and exceptionally tidy and respectful of our property.
I have to say I was a bit sceptical that it would make a difference to our house. But it really has.

Very good service indeed. Installation date was arranged quickly and on a day to suit us. The team on the day were professional and courteous. They were quiet and efficient and cleaned up beautifully. Access to under the kitchen was difficult but they went the extra mile to get this done. We are now enjoying a warmer home. All in all highly recommended.

We had asked for advice and a quotation for insulation of our home.
Barry was very knowledgeable about his product and home insulation in general and explained everything well. There was absolutely no pressure and in fact he advised that no additional insulation was actually needed.

We had scot foam to do a home survey earlier this year after being very interested in spray insulation for our bungalow roof but we had second thought as some sales representatives quoted us ridiculous prices.
Barry was extremely nice and had a different approach, explained everything so it was easy decision to go with them. Very professional communication throughout and highly customer oriented.
When his team came for installation yesterday I was very pleased how organized they were, and very considerate of our stuff in the loft (we forgot to move it prior). Thought it would be messy with foam but its actually very neat and looks great!

We recently had loft insulation installed by scotfoam. We are very happy with the service. Barry and the guys are friendly and knowledgeable with the product and answered all our questions. They worked hard during installation and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

My aim was to ensure I could obtain a high quality, super efficient, & affordable product to insulate under my existing floor boards & outside wall within my ground floor apartment. Having scoured the internet I contacted Barry Gillchrist at Scotfoam.co.uk
Barry fully discussed my needs and suggested Icynene - a healthy open cell pour foam insulation for walls & floors, a product that has a very low thermal conductivity consisting of (Open-cell, foam 8kg/m3,) environmentally stable as its 100% water-blown and rigid when set. After two enforced covid-19 pandemic shut -downs the team arrived today. They talked me through everything that was to be carried out.
I have to say the team were fast, efficient and displayed great attention to detail, coverage and care for my property.
As soon as the work was completed the equipment was removed and the rooms were vacuumed clean and left immaculate. Total professionals --thank you guys.
Within a few hours I noticed a reduction in general ambient noise from outside but more importantly warmer floors & walls to the touch and left me having to turn down my room thermostat a few degrees.

Very efficient, comprehensive explanation, from the first discussion to the completion of work. Friendly professional attitude throughout, with a good sense of humour. Quick, clean and “painless” for us. Added bonus, house appears to be quieter.

When I asked for a quote Barry was round within days, gave me a price there and then, and said he could arrange the job any time from 2 weeks hence. The guys that arrived were extremely friendly, careful of my house, and skilled at their work. Despite having a long drive back they stayed until after 6pm vacuuming and making sure they hadn't left a scrap of mess. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

We have now used Scotfoam for 3 of our high end building projects over the past year. The service by the team was excellent, they have extensive knowledge of their product, they can provide all the documentation required and organised in their approach to each installation.
The installations were carried out on the dates we agreed and the whole team are all well turned out, polite, enthusiastic, organised and keep their areas tidy.

Top class guys, team work amazing over two days, couldn’t do enough to make sure I was happy with everything. Very awkward loft space to work in. It’s a lot neater than imagined.
Effect on house was amazing made huge difference to old property, cut out drafts and made loft space a lot quieter from outside noise.

Having had Icynene open cell spray foam with thermal vapour barrier on top installed in our loft conversion for over the year now and it holds heat as it should.

Recently we had bad weather and the rain finding it’s way under the tiles and on top the membrane to then come into the house through a crack in the membrane, we would have never found this so quickly if the rain water never passed through the foam like it should but now all fixed the foam has now dried out again.

Great job done by the guys, came early done the job, cleaned up after themselves, very kind and friendly.
Would recommend to everyone.
