Just had our back lounge insulated by Barry & Barry at scotfoam - excellent job done quickly and with no mess. Both were polite and friendly throughout. This is one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. We would have no hesitation in using them again and would highly recommend them and their work.

Scotfoam insulated my external walls and attic conversion over a year ago. The house was built in 1888 and has four bedrooms (180m2). My energy consumption has reduced dramatically averaging £72 per month over the year (gas and electric). House remained cool and comfortable throughout the summer but retained its heat in the winter months. Also there has been a significant reduction in street and traffic noise. So glad we used Scotfoam. Highly recommended.

I had scotfoam install some foam insulation. They were fantastic from start finish. The initial contact and quote was excellent and they attended to start work on the day they said they would and promptly. They were lovely guys to deal with, the job was done magnificently and there was zero mess left afterwards. It’s not often you get work done and the people doing the work restore the area back to the way it was. All in all would absolutely recommend.

Also, the insulation is fantastic, the office is now lovely and warm, whereas before the heating would have to be on all the time. The change is remarkable.

Fantastic product, accurately priced with no wastage, cheaper than PIR rigid board insulation, brilliant team with great product knowledge.

Being in the building trade 20+ years I was a bit sceptical about foam insulation, the guys at Scot Foam explained the product answered all my questions. I went ahead with my first install, the guys turned up on time quickly insulated the project at a very competitive price. I will now only use Scotfoam in all my future projects, thanks again for a professional service.

During the renovation of our house we called on Scotfoam to draft proof our basement and insulate our attic conversion.

Having now completed and lived in the house for well over a year I can honestly say the product is fantastic.

There are now no issues with drafts from the basement, but more impressively, the attic (which we use as our bedroom) keeps a consistent and comfortable temperature throughout the year. We don't need much in the way of central heating there in the winter and only really need to open a window when it's over 20 degrees outside at night in the summer. More importantly there has never been a problem with condensation. In comparison you can see our neighbours, who have used rigid board insulation instead, struggle with this as their windows are often running with water in the winter and open most of the summer.

As for for cost, the product is really reasonable. I think it might be more expensive per m2 in comparison with rigid board, but you are saving so much in terms of labour costs as the installation is so much quicker.

With regard to the installers themselves, they were very knowledgeable and personable. We had the two Barrys doing our installation. As ex firemen they were all about the safety side of things too which gave us that extra peace of mind that we were using the right product.

Overall, very impressed.

Really happy with Scot Foam. Attended today and did our ground under floor about 40sqr metres. All done in under 4 hrs. Professional, neat , tidy , courteous, well priced good value, and like a blether with the customer too!

I contacted Scotfoam for a quotation, as I was converting my loft into a further bedroom and was looking to get it fully insulated. Straight away they made an excellent impression, by arriving on time, being extremely knowledgeable about their product and took time to answer all my questions and explain exactly how they would go about completing the job. Due to this and their extremely competitive quote, I decided to proceed with the work.

Again, they arrived on time and despite having to take their equipment through my house, they were very conscious to not make any mess or cause any damage.

They then preceeded to work diligently, were highly professional, doing a first class job which was completed on time and left no mess at the end.

I found Scotfoam to be excellent to work with and would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.
