Bad communication, phone kept for longer than stated

I sent my I phone to them, at first, everything was going fine, they had emailed me to say that they have received it, then that it has been repaired which followed by quality testing.. At the end, I did receive my phone back in fully working order. However: they took a long time in replying to me, kept my phone for over 2 weeks, with just three updates. It was nerve racking experience really because after reading the recent reviews, I wasn't even sure if I will get my phone back. Impossible to get hold off via phone for a reassurance. I do have to add, that the returned delivery they have chosen was just signed for, rather than fully tracked, so my frustration grew when I saw that it was posted, however I couldn't see where it is- especially at Christmas time. At the end I contacted Royal Mail to see if everything is okay at their end and luckily a day after, I had received my phone in a fully working order and for half the price I would have paid for it on the high street- hence the three stars. I am sorry to those who are still waiting for their items, hopefully your story will have a happy end too.

Theft. No other word for it.

I paid to get my phone screen fixed but in the end got a new phone. I asked for a refund of my money as I hadn't even sent my phone to them. Totally ignored. I requested my refund within the 14 days stated on their website. No work has taken place. They haven't even seen my phone and they won't respond to me to give me my money back. Some of the stories on here are pretty bad but they've literally taken my money and kept it for nothing. It's theft. There's no other word for it.

Avoid - perhaps they were good, but now a mess

In common with recent experience I mailed in a damaged iPad to them ( in their packaging which they sent last week quickly ) .. Royal Mail tracking indicated it was not accepted by them for delivery and is being returned ( not turned up yet, but guess it will ) .. No email response ... Will dispute the credit card charge via Amex so should only end up out of pocket for the delivery ( I was too mean to pay for tracked and only did signed for so it's only £4! )

Avoid anyway ... it seems something must have gone wrong here recently.

Update:

I've had no correspondence from them for over 2 weeks and whereas they say customers have either had their items back or been informed, I've had neither. So I'm down by £137 and an iPad.

Oh dear

Oh dear. Similar experience to Elizabeth below. iPad mailed in at cost of £8.60 on Dec 14th returned to me today by Royal Mail as "refused" by recipient. No response to query emails so far. Am working through PayPal to see if I can get my £27.99 back. Don't suppose I'll recover the postage cost. Looks like something has gone wrong at their end. Hope they're OK, but would encourage other customers not to risk using them at the moment.

Do Not Use

I paid £28 for a screen repair and requested a “mail-in” self-addressed box in the middle of November which took 4 weeks to arrive (after two email chases from me). I sent my iPad to them by special delivery at a further cost of £8.60 on 14 December and received it back today (19 December), unopened, with the reason the parcel was “Refused” by the company. I wonder if the company has gone into administration as their answerphone is suddenley full and a number of bad reviews have appeared, which were (almost) all very positive reviews when I ordered my new screen in November. I was also able to leave a phone message only a week ago. The other reason is, of course, that given by others below...
At least I have my iPad back but I am £37 out of pocket.

Fraud

As per all the other recent reviews I have had no response to emails or calls (mailbox is full) and my phone has not been returned. Looking at the recent reviews I can only presume this is a scam and I have reported it to the police via the Hertfordshire police website. Can only hope others will do the same.

Quite frankly shocking service

Quite frankly shocking service. If you want a quick professional service don't bother with this lot. Poor comms, endless delays, in the end I drove 100 miles to Watford to pick up the phone. Still not even a sniff of an apology from the chap I met there. I really struggle to see where the positive reviews came from as my experience was anything but positive.

Something not right here......Really poor

Seems same as everyone below......sent an Ipad into them in November and heard nothing.
I sent my first one in to be repaired. After receiving someone elses Ipad and returning it I finally got mine back after 4 weeks.
They Said they would discount the next one but now 7 weeks have passed and no responses to anything.
Will be seeking legal advice.

Wish I could give 5*

Great customer service, they kept in contact letting me know when they’d received/fixed/dispatched my phone. Great price too! I would give 5 stars however some parts of the screen aren’t very responsive, like it doesn’t work properly, so that can get frustrating.

Dropped off my fully working but…

Dropped off my fully working but smashed screen ipad to them last Wednesday, got an email saying they've received it but you can't treply to that email address and there is no phone number to call where you'll get an answer, THIS IS A SCAM, I'm going there in the morning, anyone that wants to join me about 9am feel free, I'm getting my ipad back whether or not I need a hammer

Scam

i have also sent my phone to these folks over 3weeks now and i was notified when it was received and a week later was told it has been repaired and is undergoing testing. since then i have not heard anything from them and like everyone else i have sent several emails with no response and tried calling but the phones are not being answered. i feel so angry and disgusted as i plan on travelling this friday and shame with no phone. i dont know what to do

Terrible service!!

Terrible service!!! You received my phone on the 5th December and I have heard nothing, tried phoning sent numerous emails! This is needed ASAP as it’s used for contacting my children. I really don’t understand how you can treat people like this! WHERE IS MY PHONE!!!

Not recommended - AVOID

Like many others they have my phone, they have my money and they don't respond. This company appears to be completely fraudulent.
I am going to ask Trading Standards for advice and seek help from my credit card company to retrieve the money I have paid them.
I have certainly learnt from this experience and will always use a local company for screen repairs from now on.

I don't know what is happening

I don't know what is happening. This company obviously has had good reviews but the recent ones are awful. They do not respond to emails, phone calls. It is theft!! Trust pilot needs to review their 4 star rating. I have contacted the police in herts to see if they would call and establish what is happening or do we all have to suffer in silence.

They received my phone on the 21-11-18…

They received my phone on the 21-11-18 for a screen replacement £29.99 emailed me back after a few days to say it was the back light as well £49.99 I mailed them back to ok the repair after countless emails of which a good few they did not respond I finally got it back on the 15-12-18.They offered me 20% back which I have not received and have not replied to the last few emails I sent also I have notice my new screen has two small scratches on I and not going to send it back because I may never see it again crap company please don't use if I could give it a minus I would
