I recently used SE-Solicitors for the transfer of title deeds and equity as part of my divorce and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support throughout the process! They were incredibly diligent, professional, and worked exceptionally quickly, which made a potentially stressful situation feel SO much more manageable.
A special thank you to Emily & Laura, who were both outstanding. Their efficiency, clear communication, and attention to detail gave me real confidence at every stage. I truly appreciated their support and how smoothly they handled everything during such an important and sensitive time.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SE-Solicitors to anyone needing conveyancing services.

Hired these guys three years ago to find my grandmothers birth certificate in Germany. I am a british citizen and Cannot speak German so I thought hiring professional lawyers would be better.
For a year I chased basic updates, I told them what standement I think it was held when I first hired them. They would come up with excuses that they’re still looking and often ignore my emails (I only would Email them every 3 months for an update as they wernt doing so and would chase them up when they ignored my original email.)I got to the point where I would also cc the administrator email when emailing the lawyer just so someone would reply.
They eventually said they couldn’t find it after I chased them for a reply.
I hired a genealogist after this in which he found it within a month in that exact standement I said.
These guys did nothing and took my money. €700.
I wish I would have found the reviews on reddit also complaining about the same treatment before hiring. I would give them a 0 if I could. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent, professional and efficient service from Emily Davis and Laura Knott in the conveyance of our property

We recently used SE-Solicitors for our house sale and purchase. The process proved to be particularly complex and we were really grateful to have Hannah O'Gara acting for us. She provided clear advice and guidance and was prompt in responding to any queries (of which there were many!).

Karen Middleton acted for the purchase of our G2 listed property. Throughout the process she was extremely professional, diligent and effective. She was careful to protect us with indemnity cover to negate possible future claims for long standing works to the house. She gave us valuable and excellent advice that helped avoid penalties for late completion. A force for good, she was consistent and easy to understand. Our purchase was fraught with difficulty, complicated and at times frustrating. She remained calm, supportive and focused. You should use Spratt Endicott, and Karen if you want a first class service.

Badly written and unsigned letters to an old address and to a relative's address were made worse with poor attachments and one that would not open without a wave of malicious actions.
This was made worse with an unreasonably threatening stance and still no direct link to their client with whom I have had no contact. One star only because zero stars is not an option

Thank you to Emily Davis and her team at the Bicester office for an outstanding service. We were kept up to date with all aspects of the transaction and the team was always on hand to answer any questions. We would definitely use the firm again and recommend to everyone we know

SE Solicitors were extremely helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend them

Untrustworthy staff, unable to carry out the simplest task of passing on a message to one of their mediocre solicitors.
Solicitors keen to breach personal data without lawful reason.
Far too keen to falsely accuse someone of blackmail without understanding the s1 of Theft Act 1968. For a firm that rates itself highly in ‘dispute resolution’ it has served only to inflame an already heated matter, through its false claims and accusations.
And, of course, a firm too arrogant to ever apologise.

SE solicitors are a company I would recommend without a second thought.
Hanna and her team are very professional, friendly and helpful.
On selling our property, we had one or two little glitches that Hanna was on top of and dealing with before we even knew it.
The sale went through without any problems very smooth very quick and stress-free.
Pleasure to be dating with Hanna and his company would definitely use them again.

Our recent experience with SE-Solicitors has been deeply troubling and falls far short of acceptable professional standards. A County Court Judgment (CCJ) was filed against our company due to what can only be described as a negligent failure to perform even the most basic legal checks. SE-Solicitors acting for the claimant erroneously confused our company with another of a similar-sounding name, despite our distinct registered address and company details—an error that proper due diligence would have easily prevented.
Equally concerning is the way this matter was subsequently handled. During a phone call with SE-Solicitors, we requested written confirmation of our discussion and an outline of the steps they would take to rectify their error. No such confirmation was provided. This lack of basic professional courtesy and communication is indicative of a broader disregard for accountability.
More troubling still was SE-Solicitors attempt to shift blame onto their own client, suggesting the error was due to incorrect information being provided. We had already verified with the client that they had supplied the correct name and address for of the offending company from the outset which was NOT our associated company name or address. The responsibility lies squarely with the solicitor, and this attempt to deflect blame is both disingenuous and unprofessional.
The conduct we experienced reflects an alarming mix of procedural incompetence and a dismissive attitude towards the real-world consequences of legal missteps. The reputational, financial, and operational harm caused to our business has been met with indifference—an approach that appears to ignore the solicitor’s obligations under both the Civil Procedure Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct.
In light of these events, we would strongly caution others against engaging SE-Solicitors in any matter where accuracy, professionalism, and accountability are expected.

Emily Davis has been helping me with a number of legal matters over the last couple of years and I cannot praise her enough. From the very beginning she has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise and dedication - but she is also so approachable and friendly - explaining everything clearly and making me feel she really has mine and my family's backs. She always returns my calls and her clear communication style makes the entire process so much less daunting than it could be. I feel Emily goes above and beyond and I highly recommend her and SE-Solicitors. Thank you Emily!

What can be a stressful process, Hannah made this stress free for us and we would highly recommend her at SE solicitors to anyone.

This is the second time I’ve used Hannah O’Gara at SE Solicitors in Bicester for conveyancing. Her and the team were efficient and professional throughout our sale and purchase. Hannah kept us updated at every stage and took the time to explain things in more detail over the phone when required. She was great in dealing with a variation to deed that she highlighted on our behalf, and chased things with the other solicitors when necessary. Would definitely use Hannah and SE solicitors again and highly recommend.
Lucy and Emily (and everyone else I spoke to) at Spratt Endicott Bicester have been fantastic through the entire process of purchasing my first shared ownership property. I’ve had great communication throughout and they were more than happy to answer any of my questions. You hear horror stories of some solicitors but I did not have to chase SE once for any updates, and at every stage I was aware of what was coming next. From the date I instructed them, the sale completed in just over 7 weeks. No complaints here and I would 100% recommend them, thank you!
We work with Lily.D in the Banbury office to collect debt on behalf of our company, she is absolutely fantastic, we have never had so much success and she communicates perfectly with us so we know who has and hasn't paid and when we will be receiving the debt she has helped collect on our behalf.
