On the southwest coast of England, almost completely surrounded by sea, our home in Cornwall is famous for its windswept cliffs, sandy beaches and rolling hills.
It's where we were founded in 1981, with a little family shop selling workwear and waterproof coats to fishermen and sailors, as well as local artists who chose practical aprons and hard-wearing smocks for long days in the studio.
From the very beginning, we've been passionate about crafting clothing that will be loved and worn for seasons to come, and we're proud of our considered approach. We focus on quality and longevity, using fabrics with organic, recycled and responsibly sourced fibres that are better for people and the environment.
Today, the story of Cornwall's wild landscape and artistic community is still woven through every garment. Each collection is carefully curated to inspire creative, confident dressing, with a range of timeless shapes, rich coastal colours and sizes to fit UK 6 - 28 as well as Petite and Tall.
We hope the clothes we have created will become part of the rhythm of your life and bring joy and beauty to your every day.

The trousers are great
The trousers are great. So pleased They were in petite size. I looked at some dresses while in the store but everything is far too long on me and small folk need smaller prints. I like your jersey styles but didn’t want another jersey dress and the waist line is an inch too short.

Lovely heavyweight linen
Lovely heavyweight linen. Had to hand wash and multiple rinse to ensure no cross contamination of colours as I want to pair the dark fuchsia dress with a white jacket. Good value

Maker's Cardigan

Charlotte Dress in Blue and White
Charlotte Dress in Blue and White. I usually wear size 10 but size up to 12 for blouses, etc so there are no gaping gaps between the buttons. For the Charlotte dress I had to buy size 14 so it was nice and loose across the chest. Wore it out to a restaurant a few days later and, embarrassingly, one of the buttons kept coming undone at the front. The dress is loose at the front when standing with no strain across the front between the buttons (ie when trying it on in the changing room) but a wardrobe disaster if you sit down 😱 I spent the evening constantly doing up the button Such a shame as it’s a beautiful dress that I had thought would be very wearable.

I love Seasalt clothes
I love Seasalt clothes, fabric textures and colours are great. Especially good is the ‘petite’ size as I am only 5’ tall. I bought the Charlotte Storm dress in 14 petite, a little tight in waist so I tried 16 petite, which is apparently same length just bigger around waist/bust but unfortunately it looked and felt longer. Just hope I don’t put any weight on before Sept wedding for which I’ve bought it! Need to find a fascinator now but you don’t sell them. Great clothes and choice at Seasalt.
