Aimee at Seascanner was very helpful with our request to add Captain's Circle numbers to our Celebrity Cruises bookings. Great customer servce. We always book our cruises through Seascanner as they offer great value and the customer service is excellent.

100% cancellation charges, no flexibility at all
I booked a cruise with seascanner for a P&O ferry two months ago paid 100% on the day, with less than seven days to go seascanner and PO ferries cancellation charges are 100%, so I get no money back whatsoever, no credit note no nothing. They are just heartless companies that don’t care less it would cost them nothing to give me a credit note but they won’t. I tried to change the name on the cruise, but as it’s less than seven days, they won’t even do that so I can’t even give the cruise away.

Great service from Aimee at Seascanner today. Wanted to add a package on to our already booked P&O cruise. P&O advised I needed to add this through Seascanner. Within a couple of hours of emailing, Aimee emailed back with a couple of simple questions. The addition was quick and easy and I received another email to confirm everything had been sorted.

Excellent Customer Support
Unfortunately my partner left me at Christmas and we had a couple of cruises booked for this coming year. One particular trip was quite complicated. Shannon from Customer Support was amazing. She was very quick to answer my queries and took ownership of my problem from beginning to end. Between us we eventually came up with a solution with meant I could keep the deposit that I had paid and move my holiday to another suitable date. This was a stressful situation and I really appreciated her patience and assistance. It's easy to be a good company when things go right but the real worth of a company is when things go wrong. Thank you Shannon and the team at Seascanner.

A really good website and good prices
A really good website and good prices. The team seem knowledgable when you have to call them as well however, I have opted for their pay monthly service which has not gone well. I have had to call them three times to discuss my booking and everytime I have been reassured that I will hear by a certain date or that the payment will be taken correctly next month but it hasn’t and I never hear from them :(

Requested a price match *UPDATED
Requested a price match and i recieved no response whilst prices went up. I booked the cruise at a higher price and then they responded 30 minutes after purchase essentially taunting me, responding with that they saw i purchased a cruise already.
When i responded that i only purchased the cruise because it took so long for them to respond to the request, they basically said they wouldn't of price matched anyway because they needed a screenshot.
Something that would of been impossible to acquire as all the prices had gone up since i contacted them and there was no mention of this beforehand.
I'll take this as a lesson learned and won't be waiting for any more price matches. I would not reccomend dealing with Seascanner or any of its affiliates such as Cruise.co.uk or Hays Travel in future.
A further update: They reduced the price of the cruise on their website by £700 and then refused to match down to the lower price or even to alternative cabins at lower prices as it is an "easter sale" and they told me to rebook it and lose my deposit. As such i have chosen to cancel my booking and purchase the cruise with another agent and will be contesting the excessive deposit. Completely unhelpful from start to finish. Stay well away!!
