Polite and efficient staff even during COVID the staff at seat in Bolton were very helpful and accommodating the Seat Arona we got has everything you could need for a great price 👍🏼 Heated seats are my favourite
Had a Seat Arona
Had a Seat Arona, the technology version. Motorbility car for nearly 3 years from Seat, Johnsons in Liverpool, Pallmall branch.
I have had multiple problems with the car. The car has been into them a, few times over the last few years for repairs, mot and a service. But they have failed to fix the recurring problems on multiple times. Even when the car was towed to the dealership by the RAC, because it was not road worthy. And the RAC guy detected multiple problems with the car. The dealership contacted me to ask me to collect the car and it had been fixed. When I arrived there the next day to collect the car, it was still faulty and the paperwork I got from them said, the front drivers side tyre was getting low on tread with no mention of any other repairs or problems. Even after being told, what had been replaced and repaired, which was the main switch /fuse for the automatic gearbox. The car still had multiple UNKNOWN warning messages on its display and warning lights. When going back into the dealership to report, that the car was still faulty, I was told, it was fine when put in the parking spot for me to collect a, few hours earlier that day. They have still got the car and I have basically told Motorbility, I do want the car back, I will be getting my new car at the end of this month, November from another well-known car dealership. Totally disappointed with the Seat car and the dealership in failing to sort this ongoing complaint out.
MOT? Don't bother.
2nd year in a row I've been quoted a 4 figure sum from Aberdeen seat just to get car through its mot. Got a second opinion from another garage this time and it's cost me a fraction of that. Including a broken spring which wasn't even on their report.
Very disappointing.
Bad post warranty service from SEAT
My partners Seat ateca just went out of the 3 year warranty period by 1 month with a coolant failure in the water pump. The vehicle has completed 24K miles. Seat will not offer any goodwill payment whatsoever at this point in time and the garage is not even considering it. What a shocking service.
Edit: I escalated this with the garage and managed to get a discount. Seat also contacted me as i has a compliant opened. Seat agreed to a further discount given the circumstances. I have edited the rating to accomodate for this.
Perfect customer service 5/5☀️☀️☀️😎👍
We have a Seat Arona, perfect car for just me the wife and the occasional grandchildren. Constantly get 50+ to the gallon. Had a problem with warning light coming on. Stopped off at Braintree dealership. Where I was greeted by Jackie, and Lee. Two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. I received the best customer service I’ve ever had. Whilst the car was being looked at, I was provided with a courtesy car. When the small fault was rectified they delivered our car. Perfect customer service. I will use this dealership in the future, many thanks ☀️☀️☀️😎👍
Car in for service and MOT in July this…
Car in for service and MOT in July this year, having problems this week, put car into Aberdeen, was told there were a few problems! Cost to work £500,was sent a video of work being done and was told there was more work needed, total now £1,100.00,car 5 years old, low mileage, anyone else had similar problems
Never buy from Specialist Seat and Skoda in Aberdeen
I ordered a new Seat Leon from Specialist cars in Aberdeen at the beginning of July. Was told it would be ready by the beginning of August. Then in August was informed that it wouldn’t be ready till the end of September! It’s now mid October and I’ve just called them to cancel my order! The sales team would never return my calls, the people on the switchboard were rude and aggressive. This was meant to be my first motability car and I was left without transport because they wouldn’t take my car as a trade in towards the down payment so I had to sell it before the beginning of August when I expected to get my car. As a disabled person I’ve basically been stuck at home over the entire summer because of this companies misinformation and downright lies! I will never buy a Seat again. The Leon is a great car spoilt by a terrible company with useless customer service!
I had my car serviced at city gate…
I had my car serviced at city gate Reading recently and my experience was very positive. I have dealt with James on 2 occasions and both times he was helpful and professional. I would recommend them.
AVOID
Hi all, Went to see a Seat Leon, started the car, it ran for about 5 mins and then we turned the engine off and opened the oil capo and loads of smoke came out of it - signifying that the engine had a failed head gasket. Also the car showed signs of having been in a front and rear impact. Terrible waste of time and how can a main dealer be selling a vehicle with a knackered engine !
If they suggest a cambelt and water…
If they suggest a cambelt and water pump change after a service amonst other horribly expensive jobs please go away and research your engine and / or shop around for cheaper quotes. I was told my car needed a cambelt change for just under £600 when it is in fact a chain driven engine so not needed at all. Seat didnt tell me this, Kia did. Later confirmed with a Seat mechanic that Kia were right.
I was also told by a Seat mechanic that sales team added the Cambelt to my list of repairs and they're not qualified to add repairs like this??? Weird!
Friday afternoon built vehicle
Absolutely sick of this car! I’ve owned a Seat Leon Cupra 290 2016 for the past 3 & 1/2 years and I must say I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy a Seat it probably had the most problems of any car I’ve owned. Build quality is terrible has had rattles from doors since owning, also rattles when Cupra mode activated from fake throttle speaker so had to have that deactivated (Rattles took 4/5 visits to get fixed) , water leak from the oil cooler (covered under warranty), window switch pack failure (Auto function doesn’t work), tailgate in winter doesn’t open, inner windscreen freezes up in winter and now paint corrosion on both front door sills and door. This has been looked at confirmed as a defect but as the car is out of the warranty Seat will not cover it. Jeez The car is 4 years old and has corrosion coming from under both kick plates and on the edge of the door. I have been advised by customer relations that if I want to dispute my case I have to pay for an independent inspection at Paint Vehicle Warranty inspection which starts from £135. Joke! I feel like since the car is now out of warranty Seat want nothing to do with you even though I’m still paying over £300 a month for the car!
Not happy at all with the shoddy service and this will be the last time I pay a premium for a Seat vehicle!
No sense
Seat Leon boot lock failed in February had to wait till march to get it looked at could not fix same day wanted to keep car for days so spoke to driver line due to covid no fix till 1st week in September at local garage just called and guess what they will have to confirm boot lock broken?? Even though they already know it's broken!! What?? That makes no sense so for a boot lock I will be without my car again Do not buy Seat it's a well know fault and this is a lease car so no boot for six months plus! I will never ever get another Seat/VW/Audi/Skoda ever again something so simple and small just don't care Seat Driverline you are beyond useless
Seat Tarraco
Just got my mobility car seat tarraco from motorvoge Northampton. Stephan who dealt with me from first chosing my car through to collection was first class I can not recommend this dealer enough all staff were polite and helpful but I give a full 5 star review as they even filled my car up with fuel for me on collection which helped greatly as I was on my own and had no carer with me to help.thankyou so much for everything and will look forward to the future as a customer.first class
An appalling level of aftercare service from SEAT Doncaster
Quite simply the most appalling level customer service I have ever encountered. 3 weeks of constant attempts to book in for 1st service and warranty repair work (delivery damage) and 1.5tsi Engine 'kangarooing issue' on a new Leon FR met with arrogance, incompetence, denial, outright lies and eventually being told by the Dealer Principal of Seat Doncaster I am not welcome at the dealership. A breathtaking level of incompetence and a shocking indictment of the Stoneacre franchise / Seat brand. Strongly suggest potential customers avoid.
I have just bought a 12 month old Seat…
I have just bought a 12 month old Seat Leon FR Sport from Marshalls in Cambridge. The car has only covered 4000 miles and is an ex Seat car. So far I absolutely love it, comfortable, responsive and economic. Marshalls were fine to deal with, they are a competent car dealer and I would buy from them again. Overall a good experience
A very bigger thank you to Sonia Rice…
A very bigger thank you to Sonia Rice for your her excellent customer service and care!! 100% on point!
I brought my car in for an MOT this morning and greeted with great enthusiasm by this lady.
Thank you Sonia for your hospitality. Thank you SEAT for your all-round service as per usual!!

The worst experience of my life .
The worst experience of my life .
I bought a Mercedes c class coupe from seat Lincoln .
Was told that the car would be ready dent free valeted etc for me to pick up on 29 th may .
On arrival at the show rooms the sales manager tried to pretended he had no idea that the two dents and paint missing on the car had not been repaired ( even though he was the one dealing directly with it )
I test drove the car loved it but also had t been valeted inside .
The way we were treated was awful .
The manager actually said .” Do you want the car or not , I’ll give you your deposit back “ I could sell this car tomorrow.
After one month car still wasn’t repaired I got a quote from Mercedes for £650 to which I offered to pay half just to save hassle as I had already delt with 3 different people .
The owner offered me £100 .
Not acceptable in the process of small claims against st the company ...
Be careful people when shopping for vehicles and do your homework ...
Excellent service and quality car I got…

We are REALLY disappointed with SEAT…
We are REALLY disappointed with SEAT UK.
Thiefs are easily able to to gain access into the CUPRA models because the keyless entry system has a significant design flaw; but you won't be told this by Seat Dealerships at vehicle handover ...
We learned of the design flaw when we discovered on our CCTV, that a thief had easily overcome the keyless entry system on our own Seat Leon Cupra Lux 300 TSI 4D.
Gloucestershire Police advised us afterwards of a remidiation approach which only costs around £20 and can be mail ordered !
SEAT's Design Team should be hanging their heads in shame ...
We asked SEAT UK when the vehicle recall to address this was to be, but they aren't planning one ...
We asked if they would refund the purchase price of the Police recommended product to remediate the flaw, but they didn't want to ...
Finally we suggested their Product Marketing team include the mail order fix as a gesture of goodwill to Cupra owners at vehicle handover; they aren't going to do that either ...
SEAT Colchester
My daughter was looking for a new small car. Several brands were selected and after visiting the various showrooms, two test drives were arranged. Daren and his colleague at Miller & Middleton in Colchester were excellent. Never pushy, only every providing the information that was requested, always courteous and respectful. Not something that I could say was the case at any of the other showrooms. The whole experience from start to finish was enjoyable. Not something that can usually be said of buying a car!! My daughter today ordered her new Ibiza. I would highly recommend a visit. Great product and 1st class customer service.
As a post script. They found a car in stock and on the following Saturday, she picked up her brand new car. She was thrilled. Thanks again Daren.
