Would highly recommend you Stay away from these people
Stay away from these people had a brand new seat atteca from them in November after 2 months of having it started having major issues with it had no other option but to do a rejection on it then was messed around on replacement car being told loads of different things on arrival time and other things so had enough and got financial ombudsman involved a almost a year later still waiting for snows and vwfs to take car back as agreed shocking service. My advice stay well away from these dealerships horrendous service and real bad customer service from snow seat
service plan not worth having (they just checking not worth anything)
just looking at the service plans, is it me or it's not worth having it, what is the point of the plan when all you do is check check check not worth the money
Incapable of doing anything right first time and without chasing
I have 1 major and 2 minor dealings with SEAT on an improved used car and all I can say is that Seat appears to be ideologically opposed, or at least completely incapable of doing things right first time. Any mention of peace of mind in any brochures could not be further from the truth.
Seat EV charging times con
Just been delivered a brand new Seat Mii electric.
Brought it because they said it could be charged at home in 4 hours.... which is impossible. It takes about 15! I've emailed Seat, but they haven't bothered replying. This is like the emission scandal....sell a carbsaying it can do something, when you know full well that it can not! Isn't that illegal?

Have plenty issue with SEAT Leon First Edition and this is the answer what I get from Customer Service!
Nothing will be replaced and you have to wait for fix? Is that for real car worth +£20k
At this stage there will be no further support from SEAT UK and this is our full and final stance.
Any further correspondence will be logged but not responded to.
They were closed during Covid, now they won't honour service plan.

Shame on these parasites who were supported by the furlough scheme.
my car is a SEAT Leon Estate
my car is a SEAT Leon Estate. with in the first year i had to ask if my hand brake was ok at Seat garage they said there was no problem. i thought it must be me. over 3yrs and just over i took the car to my local garage, hand brake no problem. now 7yrs on i have been through a number of times where the car has moved backwards or forwards with me having to put the foot brake on to undo hand brake to put back on. now, with a total hand brake failure with my 2 dogs in the the car it started to roll away, causing considerable damage to my car, my dogs shaken but not broken. has anyone else had the same problem please, for a recall to happen.
VOLKSWAGEN SEAT SKODA NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY
Seat another part of the VAG group that is appalling no parts, no service, no replacement car when yours is in for repair (under warranty) just excuse after excuse please don’t deal with any VAG product it will just cost you a lot of money for nothing. Minus 5 STARS
I purchased a new Seat Arona 2018
I purchased a new Seat Arona 2018, with SEAT (VAG) insurance cover.
A “hit & run” driver wrote my car off putting me in Hospital with severe CHEST, SHOLDER & NECK injuries.
It transpired SEAT insurance is DIRECT LINE insurance group. The Hit & Run vehicle involved was insured & begs the question why would it “RUN!!!!” This became a problem with “SEAT/Direct Line insurance who are withholding £400 excess from my no fault accident, nonetheless SEAT insurance undervalued my vehicle, charged extra to insure filthy ENTERPRISE courtesy car supplied/rejected with ZERO fuel; sting in the tail; SEAT/Direct line insurance group also insured the HIT & RUN VEHICLE!
It appears (if I believe DIRECT LINE), they have exonerated themselves explaining they are unable to resolve the issues advising me to take my complaint to Financial Ombudsman Services. An organization that is funded “indirectly”, in part by insurance companies etc.
Notoriously the organization who takes months to have its advisor predominantly reject your complaint!
If in the unlikely event F.O.S. uphold your complaint it is then unenforceable!
THIS OUT OF CONTROL SYSTEM/TREATMENT IS COMPLETLEY UNACCEPTABLE PLEASE GET YOUR ACT'S TOGETHER NOW!!!!!
PERHAPS THE INEVITABLE FATALITY WILL WAKE YOU UP?
Faulty 2020 Seat Leon and customer services
After having a faulty and unsafe 2020 Leon, Seat customer service have been dealing with this complaint for over a month. The initial complaint review has left out the major issue (16 days spent in the garage), we have been designated a complaint manager however she is impossible to contact. I am expected to spend days waiting for her to call me, if i miss this call it is another 2 days waiting for her to get in touch. The customer service is poor and disjointed, it is clear that the garages, head office and customer resoluations do not communicate or have access to any records meaning that i have explained my issue 4 additional times in the last fortnight. Sales department at Snows Poole have been great throughout.
2021 IBIZA FR Sport
I have recently purchased a 2021 SEAT IBIZA FR Sport from the Worcester branch. Very happy with the quality of the vehicle.
Purchasing process was simple, ran into a few hiccups but Ben Blackmore helped immensely with the process, Very happy with the service given by Ben and his manager.
I continue to be hopeful that the Aftersales Care from the business will be able to develop a trust with a direct dealer as this has been broken previously.
Thanks,
Jacob
We purchased our seat arona F2 sport…
We purchased our seat arona F2 sport from seat Hatfield in feb 2020- second hand 400 miles on the clock and we were extremely pleased, very comfortable and worked well with us. Within 3 months of getting the car there was a knocking sound whenever the car was put into reverse or when the air conditioning was on or when using the car wipers. Booked into seat (no loan car offered) and was in the show room for 1 week. Went to collect the car and was told they have managed to fix the problem and just as we pulled out the main central console wouldn’t work so we drove back and the mechanic forgot to connect it up. Another 3 months passed and the problem occurred again ( no loan car offered) and this time the car was in for another 2 weeks as the part had to be ordered from Spain. Went to collect it and drove away happy. Another 2-3 months passed and the problem occurred again for the 3rd time. Again no loan car given and was told they dealer was testing the car and waited 3 weeks before getting the car back again. Another 3 months passed and the noise came back again, spoke to head office (which are useless as they have no power over their dealers across the uk because they are all independent franchises) who advised me to book the car in for the 4th time. This time the car was kept for 9 weeks ( no loan car offered) and I was given the following excuses (1) the wrong parts were ordered (2) the person ordering the parts are not qualified enough (3) it’s covid and we have skeleton staff (4) only the same mechanic can work on your car and he’s off on annual leave (5) the refurbished parts have been fitted (without me knowing they put refurb parts in my car!!!) . Eventually our car was returned 9 weeks later after being in the dealer 4 times. Another 2 months passed and the noise has now returned. This time the car was booked in again and a gentleman called Steve from Hatfield seat said he heard the noise 14 times and the parts have been ordered. I was at the end of my will and grace and the same problem 5 times is not good enough and I spoke to head office. I spoke to numerous people and eventually it was escalated to Sally from the executive office who was talking to Mark and Richard Burgess from Hatfield seat. At this point I refused to take the car back home and wanted this matter escalated and I would like another vehicle. Mark the sales manager from seat Hatfield tried to flog me a car which had 16k miles on the clock whilst my car had only done 9k I rejected this offer. He then offered me a car but demanded I pay 2k for the car and as I rejected this the coward asked his sales team to ring me and harass me 3 times a day forcing me to pay up and accept the deal. Disgusting behaviour!
I spoke to a man called Dominic from the rejection team who said head office are powerless, they can only act as dove birds to fly messages between the customer and the dealer and relay it back to us. Quite frankly I would say this is disgusting especially for a major brand to turn around and tell their customer we are powerless and we can’t do anything and all power lies with the dealer. My message to Richard Harrison CEO you should be ashamed of this and quite frankly appalled by the way your franchise and yourselves at head office deal with this you have no care for your customers and you really do not offer any help.
As for seat Hatfield I am appalled and disgusted with Richard burgess who is a total coward for hiding behind the scene after numerous messages left for him and as for mark the sales manager you really need to brush up on your customer service skills, come down a peg or two and remember you are merely a car sale manager.
If Richard Harrison CEO is reading this you should be ashamed with the way your franchise deal with customers, the aftercare is atrocious and honestly you need to start getting a grip and start auditing and checking your franchise are acting within company guidelines. Something needs to be done why bother having a head office in the UK if you merely are powerless? Clearly after speaking to Dominic and the impression he has left is head office are just a glorified workers who can’t do anything, won’t help their customers who are investing in their cars and are merely based in the uk for display purposes only …… Shameful!
All potential seat buyers please I urge you to think 3 times before even stepping foot into a seat dealer they are are all independent dealers you will get zero help from head office and you will have to fight your own battles if theirs something wrong with the car. Honestly think deep and hard before stepping foot into a dealer or show room!!!
Seat advice buying a second hand car
I bought a Seat second hand car from the dealership in Llandudno. It had been advertised as it having an Aa car check with everything passed on the paperwork. Driving home the built in sat nav was still programmed to the previous owners address and was faulty. So I would not trust the Aa car check again. The Sat nav was fixed and a new aerial put on and is faulty again but it's out of the 12 months warranty. I used the electric wing mirrors for the first time and they are faulty I have one facing the ground so cannot see and need to get it fixed.
The customer service once you buy your car is poor and I am particularly concerned that the company never followed up the person who carried out the AA car check so would not buy from them again
Customer care
We have owned our ATECA for 2 years and we’re greatly impressed by the sales service at the time from John.
Fast forward 2 years and our first major service is due, again the service was we received was smooth and everything from start to finish was explained well and we even received a video presentation of the works which were carried out by the mechanics on site which gives us a great peace of mind.
Poor warranty service at Seat, they dont care.
Bought a Seat Arona demonstration model in Huddersfield, there was an Air con fault which i was told would be put right. got the paperwork and it read - A/C fault rectified. a month down the road and the a/c failed, took it back and was informed i was using it wrong. ( i have been in A/C and refrigeration for 20 years so asked them to explain) they couldn't. the system was regassed (why if i was using it wrongly) and i was informed the leak had been repaired. another month down the road and it failed again, same old same old. regassed and fobbed off again. along came Corona virus and was informed at the third time i would have to wait, took it in this week 28/6/21 and was informed there was no leak as a pressure test had been performed i asked for the details and they told me it had been put on a machine that checks the system for 5 whole minutes???? a pressure check should take at least 30 mins at high pressure and 30 mins at low (a Vacuum test), if this does not show any results a dye injection should be carried out and using an ultra violet light the system checked as putting new gas in a leaking system is illegal. I was informed that it is not worth the cost to do these tests its easier just to keep topping up with gas. Have informed the environmental agency and DEFRA to their attitude. Waiting now for the system to fail again as its under warranty for another 8 month, then its going to go back again and again until they are sick of seeing me.
may need to see about getting a refund for a vehicle that's not fit for purpose.
DONT BUY A SEAT VEHICLE UNLESS ITS PERFECT FROM THE WORD GO, TAKE IT BACK FOR A REFUND IF IN INSN'T.
SATISFIED CUSTOMER
I ordered a Seat Arona 1.0 TSI from Seat, White City,
and from start to finish the customer service was excellent.
The Customer Service Rep, Virginie, was very friendly and forthcoming from the moment we met her. She was very efficient and clear in her explanation of the whole process both on our first visit and when we went back to collect the vehicle.
I would highly recommend Seat Stores if ask.
SEAT-I am extremely disappointed
I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the way I have been dealt with at my local dealership here at Twickenham City gate. I had a car breakdown( and bare in mind my car is a 68 plate still under official warranty) and so I needed urgent repair but I have been dealt with as if i was servicing my car and had been offered:
no curtasy car and almost 10 days wait for the car just to be checked out. Now I have work and kids to handle and I'm still waiting with no solution from the dealership. At this point I wonder what is the point of the warranty and why are they treating people that are servicing their car( so they already now in advance they are going to device their car and have planned staff out ) with people that had an emergency car breakdown in terms of queue wait. Absolutely ridiculous.
