BAD quality and WORST customer service

There are two problems.

One, the side of the sofa is not aligned to the floor even after correct installation. There is a gap between the floor and legs.

The second one , is the fabric has some defect in some of the seating place.

I asked for the fix , but they gave a lot of excuses and asked to fix myself. This is just after getting the product.

Scammers!

Scammers! Never shop there! I wasted a year of my life trying to get my couch. Everytime I call they tell me something different. All you need to do is look them up in the news to see how they use sleazy sale tactics to scam people.

Appalling customer service, broken couch, unfulfilled promises..

The whole experience from the beginning is extremely painful, annoying and infuriating.

My couch arrived broken and even though I contacted Seats and Sofas right away, I still had to prove that it arrived damaged.. The damage is clearly caused by an incorrectly put-together piece and was not visible outside of packaging. After some discussion Seats and Sofas agreed to fix my couch for free, if I transport it back to their factory. As I am unable to transport couches on my own, they told me to pay 75 EUR, and they will come and pick up my couch, bring it to their store, fix it and bring it back. (Mind you, at this point I already paid 150 EUR just for one way transport, but that is another story..)
I paid on the same they as they requested, but on the day that they promised noone came to pick up my couch.

In the meanwhile customer service sends their emails from a no-reply email adress and they urge me to go to the store if I have any questions. Since the couch arrived broken (more than 2 weeks ago) I have been at the store more than 3 times, where the employees only say that they do not do customer service and they cannot help me with anything.

I do not recommend this company to anyone

Adam welcomed us to the store right…

Adam welcomed us to the store right away and was very friendly, he offered us coffee and was very attentive. He answered all questions we asked him with a smile and overall he was very helpful. He made our experience great.

Seats and Sofas poor workmanship and after sales service

I received a couch from Seats and Sofas which was bought in Den Haag and I live in Limburg. I was promised by the sales agent that the couch could be delivered to a branch near me as I was 2 hours away from den Haag. The time of delivery this became a problem as I was told to fetch it in Den Haag. I refused and they agreed to send it to Heerlen branch for me to pick up. I then arranged a delivery. When I finally got the couch it was damaged. Facing board of the couch was completely broken and I didn’t receive the 2 side armrests with the sleeper couch. The couch could also not open to convert to a sleeper. I advise anyone not to buy from Seats and Sofas based on my experience with them. Sales people lure u in with promises and under deliver. I will be taking this further.

Our Disappointing Experience with Seats & Sofa

We regret to say that our experience with Seats & Sofa has been incredibly frustrating, and we cannot recommend shopping there.

Details of Our Experience:

We ordered a set of Automatic Recliner sofas—model Antonio, featuring high-quality leather and full electric functionality—on March 10, 2024, after receiving a great offer from a salesperson named Romeo.

After a long wait of seven months, our sofa was finally delivered on October 4. We were charged an additional €220 for delivery, but the delivery team simply left two large boxes on the floor without any assembly services. Upon unpacking, we discovered that instead of the fully electric sofa we ordered, we received a manual version. This was not the product we purchased.

Immediately, we contacted the Seats & Sofa store in Den Haag. The staff on the phone acknowledged that the mistake was an internal error, yet they informed us that there was nothing they could do. We were told we had to reach out to the after-sales department ourselves to raise a service ticket and wait for a response. We waited from October 4 to October 11—seven days—with half-open boxes cluttering our living room. Eventually, someone contacted us.

Imagine looking forward to your new sofa for seven months, only to find that the entire issue stemmed from the store's mistake. We were given two options: 1) wait another 22 weeks (approximately 5.5 months, likely longer) for the correct sofa we ordered in March, or 2) accept a €150 refund, which is far less than the price difference between the manual and fully automatic sofas. After multiple complaints, they increased the compensation to €200.

To add to our disappointment, we were asked to pay an additional €75 out of pocket for the shop to pick up the incorrect sofa and deliver the one we originally ordered!

For a store that claims to be reputable, this is how they treat their customers? Would you trust a company that handles issues this way? We certainly wouldn't recommend shopping at Seats & Sofa.

Dear Seats and Sofas,

I bought a sofa at the beginning of the year which was delivered in April damaged. I had to pay extra 75 euro so they would pick it up and repair it. I received an email on the the 5th of July, that the sofa is ready to be delivered. Since then, I am trying to get a date for delivery. They don't replay to emails, and on the phone I just get information that another company does this and I have to wait to be called. I am very disappointed! I would not recommend this company!

Worst Customer Experience/Wasted Money and got Humiliated

I visited the store at Hague and ordered a Sofa last month and the sales person said he'll deliver the Sofa within 5 weeks or max 6 weeks but it was already 5-6 weeks so I tried calling the store and even wrote an email but they never respond to any of it. So i decided to visit the store personally and ask the staff, but the experience was the worst ever, the way the employee spoke and the attitude they gave was surreal. The staff told the delivery takes 6-12 weeks, but I mentioned the sale person who ordered for me said only 5-6 weeks and then the staff said the sales person is no longer with us, and he gave you wrong information. I said it's your mistake, Seats and Sofas should take responsiblity for the delay and the staff said she can't do anything and the staff was blaming me and didn't take responsiblity for the mistake. They wanted to make me feel humiliated and I'm never recommending this store to anyone.

Very disappointing experience

Sharing my extremely disappointing experience with Seats and Sofa. As a customer, I believe in transparency and fair treatment, but unfortunately, my recent purchase has been anything but satisfactory. Order Details:

Initial Delivery Error:
On March 10th, I ordered a sofa from Seats and Sofa.
The first delivery was a wrong model, causing significant inconvenience.
After waiting for three weeks, they replaced it with an old showroom piece, which was not what I had originally chosen.
Refund Delay and Unresolved Issue:
It has now been almost three months, and I am still without my sofa.
Despite their mistake, Seats and Sofa has promised to refund only the sofa cost, excluding the 240 Euros I paid for delivery.
This is unacceptable, especially considering the entire error was on their end.
Customer Service Woes:
Attempts to reach their customer care have been frustrating.
Calls are rarely answered promptly, and when they are, there is no genuine effort to escalate or resolve the issue.
I have diligently called them twice a week since March 13, but the lack of action is disheartening.
Recommendation:
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Seats and Sofa.
As a consumer, I expect better service, accountability, and timely resolution.

Let’s hope that sharing this feedback leads to a more responsible approach from Seats and Sofa.
Update ( Aug 01): I have not received my refund yet. The experience is super disappointed ( They have picked up the sofa on July 15 and have not processed the refund yet )

Absolutely horrible customer service

Update 10-05

STILL HORRIBLE !!!! got contacted by the customer service to reach a solution. I explained I do not need reparations anymore and that I am gone till July and told them to either let me return the whole couch or give me 30% of my money back as I cannot use half of my couch. Her answer was I cannot help you anymore if you don't want the repair. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They only now are sending possibilities of return after 3 months of back and fourth only because I posted a bad review. It does not take 3 months to make an appointment (which they made for a month from now). I'm complaining today to the consumer authorities

Absolutely horrible customer service !

Ordered couch from seats and sofas in december 2023, they informed that it could take up to 12 weeks to receive the couch.

I received the couch within the time frame they provided and paid the extra amount to have it deliverewd at home all in all that was really good but the couch was damaged. The same day of receiving it (February 5 2024) I reported the damage to them with pictures. They then informed me that they can fix it but I will need to pay again for it to be delivered. I informed them that since they were behind the damage and I already paid for it to be delivered before that they are responsible to deliver the broken piece for free.
Since then I have emailed them 3 times each time I get the same sassy response that I'll get called when it's ready and no further explanation.
This treatment is absolutely horrible and against the Dutch consumer protection act. As a consumer it makes no sense that I am now waiting 3 months for a small piece to be fixed. Which is longer than it takes to deliver a whole new couch. They are just liars waiting for people to forget about problems.
I will be reporting them to the consumer protection authority if I do not get a refund or the piece by this week.
If you have faced similar issues please reach out to me as I can provide the consumer authority with multiple examples to show how they are in breach.

Horrible after sales experience

One year ago we got our sofa delivered.
Three weeks later the engine of the sofa stopped working. We called and after several weeks they came to fix the sofa. Sofa could not be fixed in our place and the electric part needed to be ordered new (this was in April) - In June we still heard nothing from seats and sofas, several emails and phone calls were done, and no feedback or saying we had to wait till it was delivered.
End of August we got the news (after several calls) that the part was delivered and they wanted to make a new appointment to come to fix it, that always takes several weeks... then finally we had the technical person in our house, with the new part and we thought finally it would be fixed. But, no, disappointing enough the technical person could not fix it, and the sofa needed to be taken to the atelier to be fixed.- why was this not seen before???
Again several weeks to make the appointment to come to pick up the sofa. End of November they picked it up, until now we still don't have the sofa. Several phone calls and emails and it goes from we are busy and had no time to fix it yet to we can't find your sofa to we needed to order another part to we call you back (which they never do).
We are so done and still no complete sofa for one year now.
Next step will be to ask for a refund!!!! I'll come back to tell how that will go...
They're sales are great, their after sales is pretty horrible. If you have a problem with your sofa, the company they work with to fix it it's very bad.
My advice: don't buy at seats and sofas unless you are pretty sure it will not need service!!!!

Couch with defecf

The couch arrived in time but it arrived with defect and the store is not willing to pick the couch and fix it without me paying the transportation cost (I already paid 125€ once to be delivered) and they are asking for 75€ more fix this, without guarantee that’s going to be solved.
This should be responsible of the company to arrange since it was not my fault that the couch came with defect.
I really regret buying the couch here
