Simply amazing! What a magical experience. Pizza and a beer in private woodland around a fire pit.... what's not to love. Then the movies were fantastic and so inspiring but the magic was doing it all outdoors with the moon and stars poking through the tree canopy. I went with a friend and she loved it just as much, but equally would make the best date night!

Attended Cinema in the woods with a friend. After a 10 min walk through a track in the woods we arrived at the site. There were fire pits, pizzas and wine whe we got there : ). The pre arrival instructions were really clear advising you to wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear. The short adventure documentaries shown were inspiring! What was also nice was that number were limited so it wasn’t crowded. There were hay bails To sit on but we took a picnic blanket aswell which I’d recommend so you can rest against the hay bails. Was a really lovely evening that I’d highly recommend and am sure I will repeat in the future.

Beautifully put together evening in the woods - everything from the clear logistics, advice and parking to the magical walk through the forest to our own private outdoor cinema - we had a perfect night. Fantastic pizza, marshmallows on the fire pit and inspiring short films. Thanks to Madoc and the whole team for such a cool night.

A proper adventure on my doorstep! A brilliant experience in a pretty cool location. The four short-films shown were really inspiring. I’ll be recommending secret adventures to my friends!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a pizza-making event in a woodland setting, and it was a delightful experience. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. Madoc took the time to explain everything thoroughly, ensuring that everyone knew exactly what to do. I was particularly impressed with how they catered to my son's gluten-free needs, providing suitable options without any fuss.
Cooking the pizzas in a wood-fired pizza oven added an authentic touch to the experience, and the results were absolutely delicious. After our pizza feast, we gathered around a campfire to toast marshmallows, which was a perfect way to end the day.
My 14-year-old son had a fantastic time and enjoyed every moment and is eager to try it again with his friends. Overall, it was a memorable morning filled with fun, great food, and wonderful company.

Great day out with the family. A fun experience in the wild with tasty pizza at the end of it and marshmallows what’s not to like

Secret Adventures put on an excellent and engaging film night. My wife and I really enjoyed it and left inspired. The evening was run very well and drinks sales went to a fantastic charity.

I attended an adventure film night which I thoroughly enjoyed. The event was very well organised, tickets were well priced and easy to purchase. I look forward to future events from secretadventures!

Myself and friends really enjoyed the Adventure Films event put on in Goring this weekend.
The choice of films was perfect and it was a refreshingly different way to spend an evening out in the local area.
The fact it was also in support of a well deserving charity, all the better.
More please.

The wild foraging experience with Justine was amazing! We learnt how to eat nettles without getting stung, what flowers are edible and how to cook wild garlic on a fire 🔥 Everyone loved it - it was a fantastic way to start my 50th birthday celebrations - thank you!

We have been trying to contact Secret Adventures to redeem a gift voucher but never get a response from them. The gift voucher is due to expire quite soon and we would really like to be able to either contact the company or book an event, neither seem possible at the moment. Has anyone else had this experience or could the company respond please.

From Start to Finish, amazing experience! Thank you!
Madoc was superb organising, Freya was incredible showing and explaining about mushrooms, Shaun was astonishing making us a wonderful mean. Thank you Secret Adventures!
What a lovely chilled evening in the Woodland! Service was fab, very friendly and Robin the chef was great to talk to and produced food which was superb (seasonal and foraged which ticks all my boxes for a feast!). Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Shame the track had become so muddy with the rain but we walked through the trees with the lanterns to guide us. Can't rate it highly enough.

Service exemplary. Good, well sourced food cooked by a friendly chef happy to talk through what he was doing.
Delightful setting, although the walk could be challenging for some, particularly if wet underfoot.
Remote setting created a good relaxed atmosphere and a disparate group of strangers talked freely under the trees.

I can't fault the woodland feast - it was incredible! From the minute we booked the experience, Madoc was amazing. He answered our numerous questions and made sure everything was set up perfectly. We did the private feast, and it was the most magical evening. I definitely recommend it!

Wow what a hidden gem and the perfect way to celebrate a 75th birthday with the family. Delicious food, flowing wine and really helpful staff, a brilliant concept and will come and visit you again! Highly recommend.
Recently visited with our team of 33 people for our company offsite, and everyone was genuinely blown away by the experience.
The location was truly out of this world, you are dining in the middle of nature surrounded by beautiful tall trees, its really magic. But the real highlight was the food - everything was delicious and you could tell they had put a lot of thought and care into each dish. We loved hearing more about the chefs story and philosophy behind the food.
Madoc who I spoke with when organising this event could not have been better to work with on this, he did a great job making sure everything went smoothly and making sure we all had a wonderful time. The combination of beautiful scenery, amazing food, and great service makes for an outstanding evening.
Very strong five stars - I am already thinking about organising a return trip with a group of friends.
Brilliant. Helped by the weather being sunnier than expected, but the atmostphere Secret Adventures created was magical. The food was brilliant, and it was a lovely, lovely afternoon.

We had a decent meal at the Secret Adventures “Forest Feast”. We paid £89 per person for lunch on 5 November 2022 for two people (so £178 in total).
Upon arrival there was an awkward shuffling for places at the rather cramped tables. It was clear that several people there were friends of the host/ part of the wine service and we felt a little out of place trying to find a space. Some greeting or guidance from the staff about where to seat ourselves would have been useful.
The host gave a brief welcoming speech: He said that the food team were ‘stressed’ because they had been preparing our food since 10am in the rain, which made it feel like our meal came with a side of guilt! He also explained that the idea for the ‘Forest Feast’ came from him being tired of people in high-vis jackets enforcing social distancing rules in London during lockdown. As someone who lost a friend to Covid, and whose sister is a frontline nurse, I found this comment on the borderline of being inappropriately (and unnecessarily) political.
The food was decent, with seasonal ingredients and well presented. I appreciate that the team were prepping outside in a chilled setting… but it came lukewarm and in very modest portions. A simple loaf of bread and butter on the table would have been very welcome. It was nice that some ingredients were apparently foraged locally. The food was well presented and we appreciate the quality of the ingredients.
We had been asked in advance for dietary requests, and I had responded that we were non-alcohol drinkers. Upon arrival we were offered a hot non-alcoholic drink but after that we only had water to drink during dinner. We would have loved a juice or mocktail or cordial, but there was none, just tap water.
We were however offered a coffee at the end of the meal, but I wasn’t able to finish my mug as well before the campfire had started to dwindle, we were told by the host that the experience was “unfortunately, over” and we needed to make our way to the parking lot as it was time for us to leave.
We did have a very nice conversation with the lovely couple sat across from us, and that was a highlight.
Overall, it was nice to have a meal out in the woodlands and the setting is very pretty. But perhaps this experience just wasn't quite for us.
