Good program with a broad range of options. I best like the fact that multiple engines are used to check for viruses. In that way it is very easy to rule out false positives. Formerly I always need... See more

We love the ease of user and protection Secure A Plus provides

We are technical users and going back over the last 15 to 20 years, we have had many PCs and laptops and used most of the AV packages out there. All were good within their own field but nowhere near as good as SecureAPlus. Standard AVs primarily use signature-based detection, whereas SecureAPlus also uses application Whitelisting. Using this feature and if you don't approve a program it cannot Run, if it's Malware or a Virus-like application then you are protected. You just don't realise how powerful this feature is until it saves you from a serious nasty infection. It is amazing, we fully use it on as many machines as we can, both home, friends/family and mobile devices, and we would unreservedly recommend SecureAPlus to anyone who wants a higher level of security and protection.

Freemium SecureAPlus - Antivirus Software That Works

I have been using SecureAPlus for some years now and I've been consistently pleased with the results. SecureAPlus is an application whitelisting tool which allows only approved programs to run on your computer.
After easy installation, SecureAPlus builds its white list of your installed applications. This took some hours on my computer for it's initial run with the occasional popup asking if I approve/disapprove certain software (part of the white-listing process)
Once the check is complete, SecureAPlus displays a list of everything that could be a problem and I have the options to keep, quarantine or detroy ;) the software. The program uses a cloud-based combination of 12 antivirus engines (Bitdefender, Emsisoft, Avira etc) and there were some false positives which a normal occurrence.
My applications continued to work just as before, but if I download and run something new, and unless it's signed by a trusted certificate, you're warned: "The file is not in the whitelist. Do you want to trust this file?" Click "Yes" and it runs, "No" and it doesn't, and for the most part it's as simple as that.
Once the baseline scan complete, further checks typically run in just a few seconds.
Understand that installing this "Freemium" version of SecureAPlus gets you a free licence for one year only. You can extend this by referring friends, writing reviews, posting to Facebook and other social media.
And the software works with Avira and other antivirus software in conjunction to provide that extra layer of protection that's easy to use, safe and secure and works quietly in the background.
