Poor experience with a customer service agent
Based on my recent experience with one of your customer services agent, I was extremely dissapointed by the unnecessary repetition and deliberately obstructive process to deal with us. A very poor experience.
On the other hand, the following day, we spoke to another agent to deal with the same matter and are pleased to report it was much more simple, efficient and customer friendly.

Unhelpful is not the word
My wife was called by STB in connection with maturity instructions and when she returned their call, she spoke to a Gentleman with an Asian name. She struggled a little with the security questions and this guy then decided to put her through the mill with a dozen or more questions. I spoke to him towards the end of the call with my wife's consent and asked him not to re-invest any money with STB and to simply return it all to the linked account. I have also just ended an investment with them an in total they have lost >£100k. I have had a similar bad experiences with this bank and I will be exiting all my investments with them as the ealiest possible dates.
Well done to your customer dis-service agent, you really did your employer a favour that day.
