Seedfi is a Scammer you will watch take everything which is why they advertise with a tear drop 💧 that all I have left

I was convinced that seedfi borrow and grow plan was a great ideal
I borrowed small amount prove my ability to pay on time and continue paying 180.00 for 18 months which grew a 2400.00 saving account that I can withdraw from my new saving account that would grow . The first red flag was the Contracts the documents stated that I was borrowing 3800.00 with high interest rate the fact is the only moneys received was 400.00 after loan fees once 600 was paid in full the saving account begins I paid off early and I got a email stating not only were they cancelled my Contract but claimed although I had made my payment on time they never received a payment once I contacted my bank my account was audited and closed for fraudulent activities. Apparently Seedfi not only deposited 400 in my account but reversed the transaction after I gave them access to my accounts not only did they received 180 every month for 8 months once I questioned them the made 5 withdraws from my account in December and One in January and sent my account to a collection Agency that claims I owe them 3500.00 plus interest on a unpaid loan the fact that I keep copy of original contract and the emails claiming non payment the bank was able to get most of my money and they gave information to FCC for Fraud and Bank Fraud, so I learned a valuable lesson and will never deal with Internet scammers again

Im not understanding

I'm reading all of the comments and noticing a lot of bad ones.

Im kind of confused with my account also.

I was wondering are the fees part of the amount that im paying a month. I was averaging out the balanced. I open up my loan with a SeedFi account, last year at the end of May.
I was told that the payments are bi-weekly. Everything seems to be going smoothly. I even signed up for automatic payments. So it was coming out of my paychecks.

Months and weeks pass. I got an email that the company is switching to the SST company. Ok. No problem.
I did go on the site to see how it looked. Im honestly not happy with the setup. The seedfi seems to have a better-looking site.

My issue is, now that it's the new year. I went to my bank account online. They took out two payments. I thought it was supposed to be bi-weekly. I did go on my statement, it showed that two payments were taken out. I stop the automatic payments. Of course, I'll pay bi weekly still. But im not sure what's going on with their site.

The other issue too. Why the heck, is my balanced still high when I have been paying them bi-weekly, ever since last year? So I was trying to average it out, but my payments aren't averaging for what my statement online says.
There's a part that's saying, there's an interest of 1.56 a day. So maybe that's why my balance is higher than what im averaging out.
Let's pray to god about the situation. Lord, please help us to understand and protect us from any scams. Please let this company be fair and let everyone's issues be solved. Protect our bank account too. We're already struggling as it is, and we're responsible people. I always pay my payments on time. 🙏

They took well over $20 from me and claimed I only put $20 towards my account. I have $10 monthly payments I’ve been doing since august and only $20 has gone towards seedfi. Called customer service and they blamed credit karma. I have all transactions on my bank accounts stating that I paid them. DONT DO IT

I am an elderly stroke victim

I am an elderly stroke victim, left barely able to walk short distances. The mobility scooter I had needed to be replaced because of mechanical issues. My credit had also suffered so I had to seek a lender to offer finances for a another scooter. Seed Fi arranged a high interest loan with required I get $4,000, $2,000 more than I needed. I had to agree to getting $2K up front and get the other $2K later when the first $2K was paid off. I would still be paying high interest on the balance no matter how long it took to payoff. Now I have been informed SeedFi has sold my contract to another company, without telling me anything. SeedFi is a SCAM in its worst form. STAY AWAY!!!

Seedfi Transfer To SST

I took out a loan with Seed and they transferred after 9 months to a company called
Systems & Services Technologies.
SST Has been a nightmare. I ask to stop auto payment and they are taking it out anyway! I ask to cancel they took a bunch of information from me and then put me on eternal hold then disconnected the phone call. If you call back they keep you in Que and nobody answers. I have emailed numerous times and no response. I want to cancel this with them as I don't trust them. I want them to stop auto pay! I need help!
I want to opt out of the agreement with SeedFi and I want SST to not service my loan
SeedFi I was OK with butt SST isn't what I signed up for!!!!!

Filed A Complaint With CFPB

I signed up with SeedFi to repair my credit back in March 2022. Everything was great including the business concept and their “promise” to their customers. As part of the contract, $750 will be credited to me and I need to make payments of $100 every two weeks. Every time I make payments, it will help me gain scores on my credit. Another benefit is, after I fulfilled the loan, I can withdraw the savings. During the course of my contract, I have made 19 payments on time, a total of $1,900. They usually send texts to let me know that my payment was successful. But after December 5th, 2022, I haven’t received a text that I made the $100 payment. So I logged into my account to check. First thing I saw was the -17 points on my credit score. Not only that, but they apparently sold my contract to a collections company called SST ( Systems and Services Technologies, Inc.) without my knowledge. Now, SST is showing that I owe them $3,000. And they don’t have any savings plan like what SeedFi had. This is a criminal act, SeedFi is not an honest company! I emailed SeedFi that I want my contract to be nulled and be refunded since my contract is with them and not with SST. They can keep the $750, I asked for the rest to be returned to me. Instead, they acted as if they have nothing to do with me anymore, that I have to deal with SST. I emailed SST three times but as if today, no response. This has been a very stressful situation for me and for everyone else that was under the contract. SeedFi and SST should be fined, they mistreated their customers to the levels I have not seen before.

I have filed a complaint with CFPB. I encourage others to do the same.

First and foremost

First and foremost, Seedfi helped me when I needed the help.

Now the issue I have is my loan was sold before the holiday season, when my loan sold, I was current, and most cases ahead when everything happen. I went past due because was not contacted by SST and I wanted clarity for the $2000 that was in savings? I can see if I was delinquent, but I was not and I signed a contract with Seedfi not SST.

After the loan was sold SST explained to me that they will be seeding out the money in the seedfi savings acct " $2000" once my acct was brought to current. I was told by the first representatives on Dec 14 @ 12:28 that SST was not set up to hold the savings acct funds and they are finalizing disbursements of check.

On DEC 30 I received a called from a representative that my acct was past due, and I had made a payment to bring my acct to current the day before. I was told by that agent once my acct reflects current and no past due, they will disburse the $2000 in my savings either by check or bank transfer. As instructed today DEC 31, I call and spoke with Augustine Luna and was told that if I made another payment " Regular payment" I would be able to get the $2000 release and it will take 7-10 business days to recieve funds. Keep in mind my payment was not due until Jan 6 so I made another payment by debit card, that pushed my new due date to Jan 20 and he said let me expedite the payment to me for the $2000, within minutes he back tracked and said that I had to pay off the loan before I could receive the $2000. I immediately ask to speak to a Supervisor I was placed on hold for 20 minutes only to be told that supervisor was busy. In addition, I asked to see the contracts with SST and for them to be emailed to me. I have yet to receive them.

I perfectly fine with SST crediting my acct with the savings acct. Every conversation up to this point has been misleading and manipulative practices to get me to continue to make payments. I was told to call back in which I will be calling back on Tuesday. I plan to seek legal l action if this case is not resolved to my satisfactory.

This SST Transfer (booo, hiss)

So SeedFi transfers my loan to a debt collection agency (even though my loan is not delinquent) that doesn’t even accept debit card payments? Who doesn’t accept debit these days? Why does the SST website look like it was made by Geocities in 1998? It doesn’t look secure at all! Why does no one at SST answer the phone or respond to emails? Looks like I’ll be paying off this loan sooner rather than later because NONE of this makes sense. It’s 2022…the technology is available to where this transfer could have gone smoothly. But clearly, you chose the caveman route.

Prepare for class action lawsuit

How could I possibly be over $200 past due???? I have now made complaints with the BBB and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Seed Fi stated in writing our auto pay information would be transferred over to SST but I NEVER gave consent for my personal financial account information to be sold or transferred to a third party. Additionally, if the auto pay indeed just transferred over, how could I possibly be past due??? Why is there a credit adjustment of -135 listed under recent transactions on the SST decrepit website, but now there is a debit adjustment of the same amount on the recent statement?

SEED FI : I suggest you review what is going on on Reddit and Trust Pilot regarding this sale of your Borrow and Grow product to a company like SST. Most people, including myself, have revoked our arbitration agreements with you. I suggest you allow people out of the savings portion of the plan and allow them to cut ties with you. You changed the terms of our loans without our consent. SST charges a fee to make payments and do not offer any no fee options to pay! That increases the cost of the loans to me and causes me harm. I did not agree to that.

ZERO STARS FOR THEIR SHADY PRACTICES & UNCERTAINTIES W/ IMPACTS ON EXISTING LOAN TERMS

At first I thought SeedFi was an awesome company doing actual good things to help people with less opportunities grow their credit in a healthier way. Recently, my loan account that included a savings account that's locked until I pay back the entire loan has been sold off to this company called SST. They sent a letter warning their clients that the transition will occur and SST will be handling these accounts moving forward. They assured me that all LOAN TERMS WILL NOT CHANGE. When I went to make my first payment through SST, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE $10 for a check to be processed or $4.99 go go go for a debit transaction. EVEN AUTOPAY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR EACH PAYMENT!!! Also, your payment history from SeedFi is completely gone! They could simply make up a number for all I know. Luckily I keep pretty good records but I've seen complaints that reflect this type of scam. Speaking of scam, SeedFi has been telling customers to contact SST for savings related questions yet according to Cross River Bank, they're still the servicer of the savings accounts. They are now resorting to lying for some reason.

I spoke with a customer service rep (about three different times) and each of them barely had a clue on the questions I was asking. They were very unprofessional and it seems they're outsourced to other countries (such as Panama evidently according to one of them). I didn't sign up for this service to pay additional fees while PAYING THEM BACK. I don't have a single creditor charging me fees to pay any money to them. Additionally, despite that they assured me the terms will not change, SST has yet to provide me with a new term contract. As of now, I am not entirely sure if SST or Seedfi are the ones that releases my savings account from Cross River Bank. When you try to call SeedFi, the automated system transfers you to SST's horrible customer service line. I had to call them to complain about the fees and tell them I REFUSE TO PAY THE FEE JUST TO PAY MY BILL! How dare they charge people who are trying to IMPROVE THEIR CREDIT any types of fees! I have learned that if I call, they will take my payment without fees. I'm not sure how long that will last. I also felt uncomfortable not knowing if I would gain access to my savings upon paying them off in full, which would be insane. I couldn't imagine forcing people to pay their bills while charging them under the security that it would impact their credit score if they don't. This is highly unacceptable, I smell a class action law suit on the horizon. I am going to do everything in my power to get the rectification I deserve. SO far, they couldn't even provide me with documents of the updated loan terms when it was originally serviced by SeedFi. The rep I asked for the new terms for, not only he couldn't answer any questions but kept trying to convince me that SST is the same company as SeedFi WHEN IT CLEARLY IS NOT THE CASE. I can't believe SeedFi didn't provide anymore info regarding the transition, it's almost because they KNOW THAT IT WILL IMPACT THEIR CLIENTS NEGATIVELY. Beware of this company, I would steer clear from them when there's other alternatives that for now are legitimate.

I really hope legal repercussions are imposed onto SeedFi and perhaps SST for unethical business practices.

My Loan was sold to a company who’s online system dates back to the 90s. They’re charging me a fee to make payments. I will end up paying more in the end. This is not okay. I keep getting calls saying I haven’t made a payment when I know that I have. I am hoping I can get out of this scam. This is terrible.

Seedfi has broke the Borrow & Grow contract all users have originally signed prior to them selling your account SST. My advice to you is to immediately send SeedFi an email OPTING OUT of the arbitration agreement. This is something you could have done within 30 days of opening an account. Now that the terms have changed you may Opt Out again. Do it.
