SeekTeachers does not care to communicate at all! Never respond to emails and phone calls. This is by far the worst teacher recruitment agency by far!

Damian was extremely professional and helped me out he was the best I’ve dealt with in all the years applying for teaching jobs
He answered every question I had asked, he made sure the jobs they were looking for me matched my criteria and was always on it by calling me reaching out with more new information or making sure I was not left in the dark. I would referral anyone to go see Damian because he is really good and he won’t disappoint you unlike other recruitment companies I have dealt with
I have just started my new placement in the UAE and it’s amazing
Moving abroad starting a new chapter was a big risk for me I am very thankful and would most certainly recommend anyone looking for positions in the UAE to contact Damian
Fake Job Adverts to Harvest Your Details
Don't bother with these clowns. I have never received a response to my enquiries for any of the so-called positions that need to be filled 'asap' (funny how often this appears on their adverts). What happens is that you give them your email address and then you are spammed with rubbish positions in godforsaken schools at the ends of the earth that can't find anybody to work for them. Oh - and they'll ignore repeated requests to unsubscribe from their marketing lists.
WORST experience ever
WORST experience ever! pls dont go for it if you are looking for a timely and stable career. My personal experience has been the worse! They will be so good initially and later will not receive your call or just ignore you! honestly!?!?
If I could give a zero score I would
If I could give a zero score I would. After emails and telephone calls With Damian it was left that he would job match me for rolls. After I answered emails I finally get through and he is now suggesting that look for jobs myself. I said that he advised he would job match me and he said it could, but then your capable of doing that yourself’. When I said he should have advised be that before, he said ‘yeah, I should have’!
What absolute appalling And unprofessional behaviour
Great service!
Damian helped me to secure a job in the Middle East. It was during a difficult time with Covid19 making jobs scares. I contacted him day and night and not once did he complain or got irritated.
Thank you for the good service Damian.
Rude, patronising and offensive
Just finished on a phone call with a gentleman at this company! He was very rude to me once I stated that I had children. I was advised schools like “young” graduates (I hadn’t mentioned my age). Even after I advised I would pay 100% of their tuition due to my husbands salary, I was still told I wouldn’t be suitable due to my age and the fact I have children! Numerous other agencies I have spoken to have been pleasant and having children hasn’t been an issue. If you are considering using these and you aren’t 20 don’t even bother phoning (I am 23 if he would have bothered asking) very dismissive and patronising. I certainly will never approach these again for a job advertised!
Damian D An Excellent Agent A Client Could Have
Damian D has not only gone above and beyond but has reached out to offer guidance and support in securing the correct post for Me. I am ecstatic and pleased to say since joining Damian I have experienced and acknowledged that his position as an agent is not just a pay cheque for him but his main attributes are to assist people genuinely as a true family member would. He thrives in assisting others and relishes to see them succeed. His sincerity has been overwhelming. Partnered with Ash these two have become a part of my family for sure. Genuine kind hearted decent agents/men are not so hard to come across these days. Ash and Damian reflect true sincere human beings who are only interested in the wellness of others. It’s simply not about retrieving a salary for themselves. They collaborate to make people like me successful. God bless both of you for all your hard work and drive and energy. A BIG Thank you from me 😃
I couldn’t have done it without these two amazing men.
Damian D'Amico
From the onset of my recruitment process Damian was exemplary in his professionalism and was swift in his responses.
He guided me through the entire process for teaching abroad (UAE) and was more of a mentor than an agent. He continues to check-in with me to ensure that things are running smoothly.
Once again- Huge thank you to Damien and the SeekTeachers Team! I would recommend them your "abroad placement" needs
Terrible communication - incorrect advice
Terrible communication - Sent several emails, called them and got told I'll get an email back. Got the impression they are just interested in quick commission, rather than actually helping people. Told incorrect information about rules in China, which was quite worrying until I spoke to someone who knew what they were talking about.
If you read this - take me off your mailing list
Thank you Damian
During the unusual times we all find ourselves in, with what’s going on in the world, there is so much uncertainty and added stress, especially with securing new working opportunities. I can honestly say that Damian helped me thoroughly navigate my way to securing an amazing job. He brought calmness, clear-thinking and certainty amongst all the uncertainty of it all. He is helpful, caring, competent, but above all, KIND.
Thank you Damian
Very professional
Had a very smooth experience using seekteachers. Once you provide suitable proof of being a professional teacher the service is excellent. Damian was really helpful and very good at communicating and keeping me updated regarding all steps of the process.
This is the most unprofessional agency…
This is the most unprofessional agency that I have ever encountered. I have sent a few resumes to different accounts and not one single person has ever responded back. I guess that an individual with over 20+yrs of ESL experience is not worth their time. If I was able to give them a negative rating, I would.
LIARS
LIARS, INCOMPETENT, UNTRUSTWORTHY!
Had to chase them up - Damian D'Amato - kept denying I was registered with them, despite have a reference number. Was told that I could attend a Manchester Interview 'Campaign' - 23rd February 2019.
I asked whether I could definitely book my ticket and hotel, they told me to go ahead, which I did. For a month, I was calling Sunny Kumar and Damian, just to confirm my interview with an e-mail, but no response.
Cost me £90, when they could have easily said, 'Get lost'.
Got a job in Kuwait via Tes - International Jobs Fair. Best place to go.
Teaching abroad
Very accommodating and professional. Easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend others to use.
I got assigned an unprofessional recruiter who's only got 3 months of experience as a recruiter.
As evidenced by many individuals, Seek Teachers is very inconsistent in their work, except MAYBE where only UAE placements are concerned.
I applied for some positions in Taiwan and Macau, after having worked at an international school in China for the past three years. I've met my fair share of recruiters, but Oliver Salter was really unprofessional in his correspondences.
He contacted me initially, asking for when I am available for an interview. I had replied that I am only availble on certain days, his immediate reply was to ask for the day I had specifically said I couldn't be available for. It is clear this individual does not pay attention to emails unless he is the one sending them.
His correspondences are usually very informal and are limited to one to two sentence answers, no proper salutations at the beginning and no closing at all at the end. I can understand some recruiters going for the relaxed informal approach, but any normal business communication should still include "Dear (name of applicant)", and end with being signed off with the sender's name. This strikes me as unprofessional rather than relaxed.
Furthermore, he cancelled last minute, saying he Had sent me an email prior about this. At the time of the interview, I had not received any such message. I only received an email AFTER we communicated on Skype. In any standard recruiting agency, it's common sense to realize your clientele (schools and teachers applying) don't operate in the same time zone, so it is safer to send a message about rescheduling a full day before.
Oliver seems to have the idea he's the one who calls the shots about when and what day to interview, and his actions have shown he doesn't actually care what you, the applicant, wants. Referencing him on LinkedIn, he actually has only been a recruiter for 3 months, so I am not surprised any more.
I am surprised Seek Teachers allowed someone with so little experience (even probation at a job lasts 6 months!) to handle recruiting at all!
At any rate, this has been my experience. I can't vouch for anyone, but based on the reviews here, both negative and positive, I would say it doesn't hurt to try with Seek Teachers, but don't expect anything great either. As far as it seems, all evidence points to an inconsistency in their work protocols.
I would recommend SeekTeachers as they…
I would recommend SeekTeachers as they have been very helpful and supportive through the process of looking for a teaching job abroad. Damian D'Amico worked with me to secure myself a job in Qatar and he helped me every step of the way. He cared about getting me into the best job opportunity and gave so much advice and tips throughout the whole process. I have to give him a huge thank you because I would never have got this job offer without his help.
Working with Damian D'Amico
I would recommend SeekTeachers if you're looking to work abroad as I have tried other agencies and had gotten nowhere. Damian D'Amico was assigned to work and help my sister and I find a teaching job abroad. He was successful in finding us a school that we could both work in together and live together in Qatar. I am so happy with this opportunity and can't thank Damian enough for his help. We put a lot of work in together for the process and I feel it has paid off. Damian is very pleasant on the phone and always willing to help and answer any question I had. I want to thank him for all his advice, tips and knowledge in securing an excellent school for us to work in.
great help
I found seek teachers to have most of the job opportunities online for Dubai roles. I have been working with Damian, who I found to be great. He is very honest in how competitive the UAE can be, in regards to schools he advised which ones would suit my modern culture etc. And gave me a real insight when approaching different schools in the UAE. Damian took time out of his day during work and after working hours to help me with interview prep etc. I found Damian to be a great help when looking for roles in the UAE and made things a lot easier for me!!
Excellent Experience!
Very clear communication from the beginning. All documents were gathered efficiently and my portfolio was sent to school. Damian was very helpful and informative and arranged an interview for me within a few weeks of first contact. If anyone is living in the UAE looking to move positions like I was or if you are looking to move to the UAE, get yourself in contact with Damian at Seek Teachers. A very smooth process that ended extremely positively. Would highly recommend.
Great work! Definitely recommend!
Would definitely recommend. Damian is efficient and organised. He is very helpful in documentation stage and help with interview structure. Easy to speak to and clear with all communication.
