The worst experience ever!

It is more than obvious that Seek Teachers and Damian especially is the wrong person if you want a job abroad. Just read the comments and most of the reviews and you'll understand that dealing with these people is a complete waste of time. Damian was helpful and more than friendly at the beginning! But that technique he uses is to make people trust him and feel comfortable with him. But the bitter truth is that Damian is a manipulator and he even turned out to be a psycho. I can guarantee you that this guy is mad. I posted a bad review about him a couple of months ago and he contacted me begging to delete those reviews of mine! The way he reacted was really strange! He will urge you to send your dossier and then no news at all... Don't ever trust Damian. I don't know for which reason he is manipulating the candidates, but he suffers from a psychological pathology. He's super nice to the point of being no professional at all. He will always tell you that your dossier does not match the deadline and that he'll keep you updated! But he is lying. Never trust this agency. They should be banned from existing. What a shame!!!!!! Damn it that it should happen in this digitized era!!! Making people dream and then tell them that there is nothing at all!!!!

I had a very bad experience with FAIRYTALES NURSERY IN DOHA, if you are looking for job abroad then I’m sorry to tell you but you have come to the wrong place. Whatever you do, DO NOT ACCEPT any jobs with seek teachers because it’s the biggest mistake you will ever make. WHATEVER YOU DO NEVER EVER ACCEPT A JOB IN FAIRYTALES NURSERY IN DOHA. THEY TREAT THE TEACHERS AND STAFF LIKE THEY ARE NOTHING. IT WAS SO BAD THEY KICKED ME OUT OF THE ACCOMMODATION AND I HAD NO WHERE TO GO. AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES FAMILY. THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE MANAGEMENT. THEY CANT EVEN DECIDE ON ANYTHING. THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND CALL THEMSELVES PROFESSIONALS. THE DIRECTOR HAS NO CHILL AND IS VERY AGGRESSIVE. THEY SHOUT AND ABUSE THE TEACHERS. THE HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS IS NOT EVEN CONSIDERED AS THEY TURN THE LIGHTS OFF IN THE NURSERY TO SAVE ELECTRICITY AND HID ALL THE AC REMOTES MAKING IT SO HOT TO WORK IN SUCH ENVIRONMENT. THIS WAS SO SAD AND INHUMANE. FAIRYTALES NURSERY DOHA NEED TO BE SHUTDOWN PERIOD.

My experience with Seek Teachers has been fantastic. Damian has been very helpful through the entire process, calling and returning my calls when he can. He has gone over and above the call of duty to accommodate me.

This company is a complete waste of time.

First of all, I don't understand how 5 "recruiters" are supposed to handle what is likely thousands of applicants from multiple western countries which all have their own documents, verification processes etc. Filling out the profile (way too detailed, redundant and intrusive) is basically useless, as they don't even read your resume and make you fill out their version of it. At first, it seems that there are dozens of jobs available, but they all funnel down to the same "recruiter" who arbitrarily decides which school they're going to apply you to. I strongly believe (but can't prove) that most of those jobs aren't even real, as there's no way to see what school you're applying to and some are pretty much just copy-paste descriptions with different job codes.

Secondly, after expressing interest to over 40 jobs that were "available" to "Start ASAP" I received exactly one interview with a school.... who didn't even read my resume. I woke up in the morning and prepped for a Skype interview which lasted for exactly five minutes because no-one bothered to check my qualifications and ended up interviewing me for a subject and grade level I had nothing to do with ?! What a complete waste of time and effort.

Lastly, there is no communication between the recruiters and teacher candidates. "Start ASAP" means absolutely nothing; this company just doesn't reply to emails for weeks, and when they do it's unprofessional, lacks information and support. With another smaller recruiting agency I was able to exchange multiple emails a day, and there was a very logical and quick progression from: Let us Verify the info on your Profile > Let's Skype and talk about who you are and what you want > Here's A job that fits your criteria > Interview with School (Agency has left the conversation) > Signed contract. With SeekTeachers it's more like: Fill out the same info 5 times > ??? > Here's 50 jobs that match your criteria but may or may not exist > ??? > Never hear back after uploading all my personal information, ID cards, passport etc...

TEACHERS, DON'T BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE. Either look for smaller recruiting agencies whose websites look modern, or pay up for one of the premium providers. This is either a data-mining operation at worst or an outdated dysfunctional project at best.

NEVER TAKE A JOB IN DOHA FAIRYTALES NURSERY WITH THIS COMPANY, THE MANAGMENT IS REALLY BAD AND THEY TREAT YOU LIKE SLAVES I HAD AN EMERGENCY AND THEY WOULD NOT LET ME LEAVE THE COUNTRY AND DAMIAN THE CONSULTANT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIAR HE DID NOT CONTACT ME AT ALL FOR THE TIME I WAS THERE AND WHEN I LEFT THE PLACE HE CONTACTED ME TO GET THE STORY SO GE CAN TELL THE MANAGEMENT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CONFIDENTIALITY IN BOTH SEEK TEACHERS AND THE NURSERY HE SAID THE MANAGEMENT WILL TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY THEY ARE CONNECTED TO THE ROYAL FAMILY AND SO ON ITS IS JUST A BIG LIE AND THEY ALL JUST IN IT TOGETHER AND BIG CONS MY PERSONAL ADVICE IS TO STAY AWAY!!!

They do not return emails or calls. As an American with a Master's Degree and 15 years experience in six subjects, placement should be easy. But they don't return emails, phone calls, and if they do, they promise to get back to you, but never do.

I wish I had read the reviews earlier about SeekTeachers and these specific consultants... I would never have even bothered!

Waste of space, this outfit never respond to applications, pointless rude and stupid racket, take your services elsewhere unless you enjoy wasting your time.

I applied for a teaching job in the GCC and was communicating with Damian and Ash during the recruitment process. At first they seemed friendly and supportive but when I didn't get the position due to false information they gave me, they stopped answering my emails and skype calls. I'm happy to say i got the job anyway through another agency but am still shocked that SeekTeachers allows this behaviour. Judging by the other bad reviews I have some comfort knowing it's not just me. These consultants only care about reaching their KPIs and don't care at all at building client relationships. If you have similar experiences with this company please leave a review to warn others.

Awful! Damian phoned me twice telling me to upload all my documents with the promise of instant job offers. I've since been ignored for a month. I've emailed four times and have been ignored! I've not heard from the jobs I've applied for. As a teacher with 6 years experience teaching in the UK this shouldn't be the case!
AVOID!

I would highly recommend seekteachers for anyone seeking to venture overseas for their teaching career.
My consultant Damian, was very helpful and prompt in getting back to my emails and queries. He guided me through every step of the application procedure.
Seekteachers also conducted a webinar on what to expect at the interview and interview taking skills, which was extremely beneficial.
I felt very supported throughout and would highly recommend their services.

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has worked in international schools for many years.

I have contacted Seek Teachers a few times each times and each it has been fruitless. These are the problems I encountered

1) The jobs on their site seem to be mostly expired, they don’t update them. When you speak to them they rarely have much available.

2) When you email any of the contacts on their website you mostly get ignored. I tried a dozen times and no one replies.

3) I tried to register with a so called manager named Abdullah . I began the registration process, then he just stopped replying for nearly two weeks. When I called he was ‘too busy’ to take my calls. Finally he replied saying he would reply when he was ready. I was shocked .

Don’t bother with this recruitment company ! No one would tell me who the senior person was presumably because they didn’t want me to let them know the unprofessional way I had been treated.

They also have this bizarre practice of asking for references even before they have a possible interview. They want you to bother your previous message managers when they may not even have a job for you.

Such a great company to go through. Thanks Seek I will be back again!
