Stay away from Sekonda (Time Products )

Stay away from Sekonda (Time Products )
Ordered one mid January, and also a new strap more suited to my style.
1st watch arrived with one of its hands floating around so I returned it.
Replacement arrived and I swapped over the strap very simply. Watch worked fine until end of March when it suddenly stopped.
Got on to Amazon but was redirected to Sekonda to file a warranty claim. That was a right faff. Duplicate info form filling rubbish but did it.
Yesterday got an email saying my guarantee claim had been approved and detailing when it should be sent etc. Fair enough.
Unfortunately I read these things and in doing so I noticed this, "The watch must be returned with the original strap fitted. If an aftermarket strap has been added, please remove it before returning the watch to us."
This is never mentioned anywhere on Sekonda's site nor in warranty documentation including their site which ironically was only updated 8 days before this review. So, as I'd changed my strap and binned the old, I appear excluded from any form of fix for yet another sh1te Sekonda device.
I know, I thought, instead of filling online forms in I'll find their customer service team and email a human being and get some sense. Hahahahahahah. The email address (customerservice etc etc) just bounces.
Time (get it?) to talk to someone with half decent customer service so I contacted Amazon. Within 20 minutes I'd explained all the cr4p going in with Sekonda et al via Time Products and had all of my money refunded. I'm now thinking of ways to take this shockingly bad product and star it in a short video about sh1te service and money grabbing corporates who pillage old brands... Got any suggestions guys

HOW SAD

I was smitten on the spot by a delightful functional watch in a jewellers' window - not least by the value for money and the brand reputation.
A big win on the way for manufacturer, retailer and customer!
I could not resist temptation.... BUT on trying it on the bracelet was rather tight. Could you please order and fit an additional link? NO
Sekonda do NOT do additional links.
Thank you for defining me as a NONCUSTOMER.
I found an alternative elsewhere - which I of course bought as a sympathy purchase for myself.

Good watch

My track watch arrived in good time, as described. All the functions seem to work and it’s comfortable and looks stylish. I was nervous as had seen poor reviews but can’t fault it at the moment.

Does not auto track exercise.

Fast and easy delivery, seems to track the right amount of steps and looks really nice. However it does not auto track exercise, you have to manually choose a walk, run, bike etc on the watch itself, you cannot chose it from the phone app. App is very basic and looks out of date. Bought to replace a Fitbit as I'm fed up of their batteries only lasting 2 years. If i had just wanted a pedometer, which this basically is, I could have got one for half the price.

I’ve been using my sekonda rose for…

I’ve been using my sekonda rose for about a month now and am very happy with it. It’s more comfortable than my last Fitbit, no less accurate with the bp and other health readings which I think should always be taken with a big pinch of salt. The pedometer seems more accurate than the Fitbit, I can read my messages easily, I like the variety of clock faces - I can even add my own photo!

Sekonda Prints Ladies Watch | Rose Gold Case & PU Strap with Peach Dial | 2816

This watch is a lovely watch but the strap keeps splitting. Twice I have had to contact Sekonda to send me a watch strap out. I have only wore the watch for 2 days and the clasps comes away. Sekonda replaced the strap and the PU strap clasp broke again. After 4 days.

Exceptional Customer Service

Easy to contact the Customer Services department/agent. Exceptional addressing of the issue raised to beyond my expectations. I will certainly purchase a Sekonda watch in future purely based on this customer experience.

Useless and dangerous for health monitoring

Like the look of the watch and the steps are relatively accurate. However the blood pressure and heart rate monitors are useless. I have hypertension and atrial fibrillation. The watch gives readings within normal range while home and surgery monitors show my average readings to be well outside the normal range. Beware of relying on health monitoring on this watch

Purchase a sesky watch 7 months ago

Purchase a sesky watch 7 months ago. It failed I returned it for repair after 2 weeks the watch was returned stating it had a full service after 7 months old it should not need it. Been working fine for 6 days. Now it stopped working again. Not very happy .

Disappointing Flex Smart watch

I was given the Sekonda Flex smart watch as an April birthday present from my husband. It was my choice. I wanted a large faced watch for everyday use in the garden.
It's okay, but only okay. As a straight forward watch it functions well. Disappointing that there's a stopwatch but no timer function.
The maximum backlight time is eight seconds, which is totally inadequate.
The steps function seems to record fairly accurately. I knew that there wasn't a GPS function prior to purchase.
Messages are difficult to delete. No way to scroll down if it's a long message so can read only the first part of it.
I'm rather dubious about the accuracy of both the heartbeat and blood pressure functions. It usually records my heartbeat as being roughly 10bmp fewer than they are. All my life I have had hypotension yet this smart watch invariably records my blood pressure as being within normal perameters, even when the old fashioned sphygmomanometer and stethoscope used simultaneously contradict this.
The weather app is a joke. Four thermometers in the garden today recording temperatures varying between 38 and 42°C. Met Office forecast is for 40°C. Sekonda weather app suggests temperature of between 18°C and 30°C. Cannot get any other data on the watch and the app on the phone is nearly as bad. Also needs to be reconnected every few days. I don't bother with it as it's neither reliable nor useful.
Sleep function is just as inaccurate as the weather function.
However. Having said all that I do still, perversely, quite like the watch. I wanted a timepiece with a large readable face and one that I could see in the dark. I have that.

Excellent Customer Service

I cannot praise Sekonda customer services highly enough. Was recently bought a watch and the strap was too small. Contacted Sekonda via email and received a reply from Ben in under one hour. Three days later (including a weekend) Rachel had put links in the post. Four days later and the links were on my watch. Polite, friendly, fast, efficient and excellent service
