Would not recommend

Would not recommend. Purchased equipment for a higher education institution. Parts made that would have been on the original product were removed and sold separately at very inflated prices. The standard of the products we did receive was very poor, even after being sent back for a replacement.

We are genuinely disappointed to read this review, particularly after the time and effort invested in supporting this order from the outset. We had several discussions with you before purchase, prepared a quotation, and also provided a substantial discount as a gesture of goodwill.

The listing clearly stated what was included with the stretcher and what was not. It specifically explained that the push and pull poles were not included and were available separately as optional accessories. This was also communicated directly during our discussions, so there was no intention to mislead at any stage.

When you later told us that the initial unit was not satisfactory, we acted promptly and arranged for our own driver to collect it and exchange it for another one. We did this to resolve the matter quickly and fairly, despite the additional cost and inconvenience on our side.

In light of this, we do not believe your review fairly reflects either the product listing or the level of service provided. We have been transparent throughout, responsive to your concerns, and proactive in trying to reach a satisfactory outcome.

Team works hard to overcome issues

Although there was a slight issue with obtaining the battery SelfiMed worked hard to rectify the situation and the battery is now confirmed as on its way to me.

I recently purchased a Resmed 10 CPAP…

I recently purchased a Resmed 10 CPAP Device, Tubing and Philips Dreamwear Full Face Mask (fitting kit).

I had been advised by my NHS Respiratory Consultant that CPAP may be beneficial for me. Unfortunately the wait time was 12 weeks at the point they had machines available. In other words, how long is a piece of string.

I wanted to start therapy asap as I was really struggling with daytime sleepiness and fatigue. It had ruined my life.

Unfortunately these machines are very expensive brand new (around £1k all in) and it’s a lot to commit when you don’t know what improvements it may or may not make for you.

I happened to stumble across SelfiMeds site and was able to purchase a used CPAP machine. The Resmed 10 device had 3,300~ hours of use which is approx. 1.3 years worth of use. The device itself was only two years old. Online it is reported that the devices are good for around 20k hours use or 7 years. So this unit had plenty of life left in it, it’s practically new.

It was clean, had some cosmetic scratches which is to be expected, but most importantly of all, it worked perfectly with no abnormal noises from the motor and it didn’t smell of tobacco smoke, unlike the NHS sleep study equipment!

The SD card had been removed, but I purchased one for £8 from Argos as I wanted to capture my data for computer download. The resmed App also works on my phone and the device has the latest 4g chipset.

During my purchase, I emailed Selfiemed to check I was ordering the correct equipment and had an email back confirming this to be the case very promptly and the Machine was delivered next day with DPD.

In terms of set up, it’s a doddle really. Plenty of YouTube guides from SleepHQ on how to set the machine up and get the best results from therapy.

All in all, I’m super happy with the device and Selfimed has enabled me to access CPAP therapy at a fraction of the price for a new machine and much quicker than via the NHS!

Will happily purchase any CPAP equipment from them in the future and would be equally happy to recommend.

It's great

It's great. However, it does get on my nerves that whenever a company fulfills an order, they want you to fill out a survey, to tell them how wonderful they are!
