DO NOT USE SENDLE.

DO NOT USE SENDLE.
This delivery company is unbelievably bad.
Is now 20 days past delivery date with no idea where the parcel is.
After seldom updates, we were told 3 days ago it was out with the driver for delivery. Patiently waiting at home 3 days in a row. Now told it is at the depot.
Update 2 Jan 2026. I'm still waiting, despite empty promises. Today advised that they are still investigating.

Failed Delivery Model

Sendle relies on third-party delivery drivers, which in itself is fine. The problem is that Sendle has no effective way to communicate with those drivers when issues arise.

There appears to be no system for timely, two-way communication when a driver cannot locate an address. Drivers do not contact the addressee, and in this case were unable to locate a clearly valid address, seemingly without knowing how to use Google Maps effectively.

Compounding the issue, Sendle offers no redirection option and provides no practical support to resolve delivery failures caused by their own process gaps.

Overall, the delivery model is fundamentally flawed and poorly managed, resulting in delays, wasted time, and an extremely frustrating customer experience.

Terrible terrible service

Terrible terrible service - do not recommend!

Three attempts at delivery for a standard house, claiming ‘access issues’, no active tracking or notifications and a whole lot of frustration. Avoid at all costs!

Absolute joke sent an item from VIC to WA they picked up on 15th Dec then sat in VIC until Fri 19th Dec before being sent to WA. THIS IS NOT A COURIER it is a JOKE now item not due until 2026! Always semm to have issue WITH this "supposed courier"

Lousy company

Lousy company. Never pick up on time, last parcel sat waiting for 8 days. Paid extra $$ to insure my package, they broke it in transport, then denied the claim saying it wasn’t packed good enough. Would not matter how well it was packed, they have systems built in so they can deny claims easily by saying it wasn’t packed well enough. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS LOT AGAIN. AUSTRALIA POST FOR ME👍🏼👍🏼

money stealing company

absolutely pathetic systems and customer service. Accepts bookings to rural areas and then the courier says no we cant deliver there the customer has to pick up from our depot. its been 3 months and the customer hasn't received their order and sendle doesn't care. they don't refund, they don't contact to customer, they do absolutely nothing to repair the relationship between us and our customer and us and them.
customer service people are useless.

way to ruin a christmas gift for an elderly customer of ours by holding onto their parcel. Happy to steal customers money and not provide any support or helpful solution

After searching surrounding streets and…

After searching surrounding streets and houses for over seven days i found my parcel extremely wet from strong rains. Customer service, what a joke, they responded and after a few messages,they sent them in Tagalog language. They sent me a photo of parcel but not where they delivered it to. It was in a completely different street. Couldn't give a hoot and don't believe them when they say they will track by GPS, they don't. Still waiting on an apology, yeah that's not going to happen.

I can understand why this company has such a low rating

I am the receiver of the parcel sent by Sendle.

The tracking indicated the parcel had been delivered to local news agency for pick up. I had been home all day and there’s been no attempt to deliver it to the address on the package.

Once I received the notification that the parcel had been delivered to the news agency I went to collect it, in front of me were two other people with the same problem they had also received notification that their parcel had been delivered to the news agency and not to the address on the package.

All people queried why the parcel hadn’t been delivered as addressed, they also indicated they had been home all day. The person serving at the news agency was unable to provide a response.

Absolutely terrible company people should stand clear and use Aust. Post.

So not happy

When I enquired about our parcel not showing up Sendle sent endless emails from different staff about the delay in the delivery and said we would have to pick it up from a depot. They didn't give us the right courier name and no contact phone number for them. They wouldn't come out making lame excuses about the road being too dangerous and then saying they did come out but they didn't. Then we had to go down to the Courier Depot and pick it up ourselves which was a 2 hour return trip and we had paid for them to deliver. Also they were only open for 4 hours a day which luckily we got there in the timeframe

worst for small businesses pick ups!

Absolutely do not use sendle if you need a reliable service. Your parcels will not be picked up on time. We will be pulling all of their services from our businesses. They have a big push to help small businesses but when they can’t pick up a parcel for a week or more they cause small businesses additional headaches with unhappy customers & lengthy wait times. They have absolutely no connection or contact with their drivers so they can’t ensure the messsge to pick up or deliver parcels gets through. I’m beyond disappointed as yesterday I was assured by Jeffery, a member of their team that my parcel would be picked up either yesterday or today at the very absolute latest- I had his word. Today was coming to an end so I got in touch with Marc from the support team to make sure it would still be happening today, who said the best he could do was escalate it again (something that’s been happening all week). The most disappointing part of it was being assured of a delayed pick up today that never happened and the fact that this isn’t the first time a pick up has been missed for days.
Never trust this as a small business. You can expect European and US delivery timelines for domestic parcels. The headaches Sendle cause to save just a little $ aren’t worth it. We fell for their helping small businesses marketing ploy. We will be avoiding them across all our businesses after this Christmas disaster and will be telling everyone we know to give them a miss.
….. I didn’t know the reviews were this bad until all the bad experiences myself, wish I never bothered.

If I could give a 0 star I would

If I could give a 0 star I would. Just frustrating how bad this company is.
They keep saying that they attempted to pick up but I have proof that nobody came to pick the item up, the worst part is they try to pin it on you as if you’re not doing or following the instructions correctly.

They said that it only takes 1-2 business days but my parcel has been sitting there for over a week! This is affecting my business!

Total failure to deliver and…

Total failure to deliver and contradictory responses to requests for clarification. Their platform indicated that the first attempt at delivery failed due to there being nobody at home.......we were home all day. The second said that it had been delivered the following afternoon, which was also incorrect. They later stated that the parcel had been returned to their depot an hour after the alleged delivery time. Their next update stated that the parcel had been delivered the day after that, but there was no contact attempted by their delivery driver and no trace of the parcel. Their final response stated that it had been delivered on the second day after all.......in spite of them having previously advised that it had been scanned back into their depot an hour later. They say that they have launched an internal investigation, but are relying on me to provide CCTV footage. Absolutely terrible experience.

This service is absolutely terrible

This service is absolutely terrible, I am waiting on a parcel that was picked up within 30 minutes drive of the delivery location and was told it would be delivered within 2 days, I have spoken with several customer service attendants who have all given me different excuses every time. I understand it is a busy time of year but I haven't been given an exact answer once each time I've spoken to the customer service support. Avoid this company if you want reliability, stick to auspost even if its an added cost.

I’d give it zero stars if I could

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Four days multiple phone calls for them to pick up a parcel. Don’t offer a drop off cause it’s international. Those clowns can’t even organise a pick up. Don’t ever use these idiots.
