Seneca is my favourite way to revise the science subjects because it’s like using an interactive textbook. The free plan is very good as well, even if you don’t pay you can still get access to all subjects.

Seneca was great for my lad. A useful and well-considered service. Customer service was great and Olivia was particularly helpful. Recommended.

Absolutely useless! BE WARNED: do not spend your money here! Some of the questions don't make any sense, worse still some questions are set up with the wrong answer. I didn't believe my son until he showed me a compilation of screenshots. I was actually annoyed at him for not using the platform but I fully understand why he didn't. And in light of the incorrect questions, I'm very glad he didn't. Could actually be detrimental to his learning! I trusted Seneca because it's used by his school.

truly a disgusting app, doesnt help at all and the answers are basically wrong. doesnt help revision or exam technique and is extremely annoying. vile horrible app worse than sparx

Seneca really helped my daughter with her A Level Psychology. It was really easy to follow and gave her more confidence going into her exams.

very good site and extremely helpful. also refunded after i accidentally renewed my subscription because my course has ended. if i was still in that course no doubt i would use it non stop. special thank you to olivia for being extremely helpful

i've only been using seneca for like an hour and i'm crying because of how helpful it is. and it's completely free?! i think it might save my a-level grades. it's so encouraging and a gentle approach to revisng/learning (i'm homeschooled so it's the best thing ive been able to find). I just needed to thank someone so i'm writing this haha

Unbelievably precise to what was in the exam, attention to detail on key words, ACTIVE learning and was enjoyable too.

It is only good to identify the types of topics to revise on and to get familiar with the general syllabus for GCSE Maths.

However, it is not useful for in depth revision; on many of the topic questions, they only incur yes, no, one answer types (like Kahoot) rather than actual working questions that would look like an actual exam one; this happens mainly on the more harder topics.

Furthermore, the mark scheme and the workings is ridiculously confusing; it makes the topic seem harder than it actually is. Examples include the random numbers coming out of nowhere without any given context (it wasn't even shown in the clues).

When I also revised for my Business GCSE, the notes that were provided were so thin and not in detail, with just one image and barely any writing, not even one line.

I would not recommend this website nor the app for revision purposes, but it is good to find out what topics you struggle with, so that you can pinpoint the ones you can revise on elsewhere.

Seneca has been essential in supporting my kids through GCSEs and A Levels. A fantastic tool.

I purchased the e book for Science to help my daughter with her exam, and she passed. However, I was then charged twice more over a period of 6 months, when I no longer needed the service. I expected to lose that money (over £100) but I emailed Olivia, she replied within 5 minutes, and I have now been refunded. Just an amazing level of service one rarely finds nowadays. Top Marks!

The map system
when picking where to place your marker on the map it will alow you to zoom in on the map. It will also allow you to move the map. However, the location stays at the same point on the screen. So if you zoom in on london for example and london is now on the middle of your screen, the system still thinks london is near the top of the screen. Shocking!?

Apart from Seneca being such an amazing resource , one that engages the students and wants them to keep going . I am especially here because I wanted to applaud their unmatchable customer service ! I have never experienced such prompt help and email replies and I am forever grateful to Ms. Olivia from Seneca for making my experience one that I can never be more grateful for ! She’s definitely an asset to the company , very professional and prompt ! She solves my issue in a matter of minutes !!! God bless her ! way better than Sparx ICL. Sparx is soooooooooo bad

I have been using Seneca Learning for quite some time, and until recently, I was a big fan of the platform. Its interactive learning modules and user-friendly interface helped me study efficiently, and I felt like it genuinely improved my knowledge across multiple subjects. I had even given the platform a glowing 5-star review to show my appreciation for how much it had helped me academically. However, I was shocked and deeply disappointed when my positive review was suddenly deleted without any explanation. This experience has completely changed my perception of Seneca Learning, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts with others. Initially, my 5-star review was based on my genuine enthusiasm for the platform. I praised Seneca for its engaging content, which made learning feel less like a chore and more like an enjoyable activity. The platform’s use of gamification, personalized quizzes, and flashcards helped me retain information much better than traditional study methods. I appreciated how Seneca condensed complex topics into bite-sized lessons that were easy to follow, making studying feel less overwhelming. I had also noticed that the platform was continuously updated, providing fresh content and improving existing features based on user feedback. It was, in every sense, a product that deserved to be praised. But things took a drastic turn when I logged in one day and found that my review had been deleted. At first, I thought it was a glitch or an error, but after trying to repost it multiple times, I realized that the review was being systematically removed. I reached out to Seneca’s customer support team, hoping to get an explanation or at least some clarity on what had happened. Unfortunately, I received no response, which only added to my frustration. What struck me the most was the utter lack of transparency in the situation. If my review had violated any guidelines or been flagged for any reason, I would have appreciated being informed. Instead, it felt like my positive feedback was swept under the rug without any acknowledgment or communication. It made me wonder: why would Seneca delete a well-written, honest review from a loyal user? It seemed so counterintuitive for a company that claims to value user feedback and continuously strives to improve its platform. I understand that companies have the right to moderate reviews for inappropriate content or violations of terms, but this situation was different. My review didn’t contain any offensive language or false information. I simply shared my experience and gave an honest account of how Seneca had helped me with my studies. It felt like the review was deleted because it was too positive, and the company didn’t want to showcase a user’s satisfaction. This has led me to question Seneca’s commitment to openness and integrity. Seneca Learning is marketed as a platform that encourages user feedback and prides itself on offering the best educational experience. However, by deleting my review without providing any justification or reaching out to me for clarification, it becomes clear that the company is not as transparent or customer-centric as it claims to be. It’s disheartening to see a company I once trusted take actions that feel more in line with suppressing honest opinions rather than fostering a community of open dialogue. This experience has left me feeling betrayed. As a user, I expect a platform like Seneca to not only offer high-quality content but also to be respectful and open to feedback, whether positive or negative. By deleting my review and refusing to engage with me about it, Seneca has shown that they do not value their users’ opinions as much as they claim. It also raises concerns about what other users’ feedback might be silenced or ignored in the future. In conclusion, my once-positive experience with Seneca Learning has been overshadowed by this frustrating and confusing issue. The deletion of my 5-star review has significantly impacted my trust in the platform. While the content and learning tools on Seneca are still valuable, I can no longer recommend a service that engages in such questionable practices. If a company is unwilling to stand behind the feedback of its users, regardless of whether it is positive or negative, it becomes difficult to trust them. I sincerely hope that Seneca Learning rethinks its approach to user reviews and communication. Until then, I can no longer justify using or recommending this platform.
