Stay away from this awful company

Stay away from this awful company. I wish I read the reviews about their bad customer services before I used their products. Truly an arrogant, unhelpful company that I wonder how they keep going.

Their support for products is so incredibly bad!!

Terrible customer service and post purchase support.

I purchased a really expensive Sensio 3 door illuminated bathroom cabinet via Wickes which was great. However, due to subsequent wall issues I had to remove the cabinet off the wall. In doing so I cracked one of the door mirrors and damaged the supplied hanging bracket. I tried multiple times to purchase a new door, and hanging kit but was told by customer service that this wasn’t possible and given a stiff ignoring. That you cannot purchase even a bracket if needed is disgraceful given the price of these items. To be not provided with any aftercare is extremely poor and I won’t be purchasing from this company again.

Great products but appalling customer…

Great products but appalling customer service lets them down. Wrong product, which was also damaged sent and I was made to pay postage to send it back. Staff on phone are very short and got constant emails questioning what I’d sent back and why. For this reason I’d never order through them again and would go to a third party where I can get the product but with better service.

Sensio Lights - Avoid!

B&Q installed a kitchen for us in July/August 2023. The kitchen cabinet under lights were also installed, these being Sensio Horizon Pro’s. One of the lights failed earlier this month and I contacted Sensio who have provided a replacement under their 5 year warranty. In looking to replace the light it’s become apparent that the whole kitchen cabinet unit had to be removed and then put back in place to change the light, this cost me £54. Now the light tone is different and you need a remote to change it, which are out of stock. To be honest if I knew this would be the case, having four of these lights installed, I would have chosen differently. Poor quality, poor design

Dreadful experience with Sensio Lighting…

I’ve been dealing with Sensio Lighting since June and this has been without doubt the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any company.

The 3x Smart Kinetic Drivers and kinetic switches I purchased have never worked correctly from day one. Constant de-syncing/intermittently flashing or randomly changing colour/brightness to the point they are simply unusable. Despite following every instruction, resetting the drivers, re-pairing the switches and sending countless videos clearly showing the faults, the issues persisted. The replacement drivers sent to me (manufactured June 2025) also did not work correctly. My lighting is fully recessed into built in shelved and cannot be altered meaning I was stuck with a setup that simply didn’t function.

The most disappointing part of all of this has been their utterly abysmal customer service. The staff have very limited knowledge on the products they sell and send conflicting information depending on who you speak to. My issue was escalated to the technical director whose responses have been consistently dismissive, defensive and at times simply rude. Rather than acknowledging the obvious faults, I’ve been repeatedly told I’m “misreading the website” or “not pressing the switch properly”. At no point has there been an apology or any meaningful acceptance that the product might be at fault despite extensive evidence sent over several weeks.

Communication has been extremely poor. This is further compounded by the fact the technical director demonstrates a very basic level of English proficiency, which can at times impact clarity of communication. Each time I believe we’re making progress, I’ve been met with more deflection and excuses. I’ve wasted countless hours trying to get Sensio’s products to work and even more time trying to get a straight answer.

Sensios technical director has now come to the conclusion he don’t want to spend any more time trying to resolve the issue with the kinetic switches not working correctly with the smart drivers so has sent a remote instead with alternative drivers. If I knew this was going to be the setup from the start I wouldn’t have even purchased it. I’ve also now been informed with the new drivers I can’t use the app either (On a side note the app is absolute garbage with countless bugs but that’s a whole other review in itself!)

If you’re considering these products — especially their smart drivers - save yourself the frustration. The technology is unreliable and the customer support is among the worst I’ve experienced.

Awful customer service - terrible, expensive product!

Bought a bluetooth bathroom mirror from Wickes supplied by this company (advertised on their website at over £500). The mirror makes very loud noises at random times during the day and middle of night and wakes up my children. This company have advised that this sound is 'normal' due to the shaving socket and therefore there is nothing they will do.

A pants company…

Purchased a new build in 2023 and had over counter LED lights fitted as part of the build.
A component ( driver ) has recently failed resulting in a whole row of lights not working.
Looking on Sensio’s website this is covered under warranty,that was until I contacted the company direct.
I need proof of purchase which I can understand, however as an independent electrical contractor installed the lights this has not been possible despite much effort and frustration on my behalf.
Basically no one wants to know and everyone swerving this, typical I have to say of this country.
Obviously inferior products to fail after a short space if time and I won’t be touching Sensio products in the future.

Don't waste your money

We purchased a Belle bathroom cabinet from Wickes in June 2021. By September 2022 the light had stopped working, we contacted wickes who arranged a replacement via their supplier Sensio. We had to pay an electrician to remove the broken one and fit the replacement cabinet neither Wickes or Sensio would budge on that. Fast forward to today 6.11.25 and the replacement cabinet has now failed. We wont be buying the same cabinet again and wouldnt buy from Wickes or Sensio. Avoid this cabinet waste of money.

Can't get it to work as promised.

Bought under cabinet lighting from Howdens. Rep/tech/installer was there. Bought three lamps, three drivers and kinetic switch. Assured all would work once synchronised, instructions etc.
After installation the lights consistently don't synchronise, on off randomly, dim randomly, have set up as per instructions many times, no joy.
Service from company is useless, phone reception lady/girl says must be a power surge issue??
This has been my experience, I worked in electrical installation/instrumentation/electronics for than 30 years but I'm not able to proceed with this system.

Equipment looks well made, shame it doesn't work.

Sensio Luka Cabinet

Purchased the Sensio Luka cabinet. It's a beautiful, bright, large cabinet. However, the alexa function does not work. I was told to change the language on the device but there is no way to do so.

Cabinet also came without shelves, contacted support who supplied the shelves. So I can't fault Rachel from support.

Disastrous in Every Possible Way

I hardly know where to begin. Sensio under-pelmet and under-plinth lights were forced on us by Howdens, which is another story. They are utterly disastrous. Do not let Howdens push this overpriced third-rate trash on you. Sort out your own lighting if need be.

Howdens over-ordered the equipment by several orders of magnitude so that now I am stuck with crates of unused Sensio "receivers" and other kit, all of which is quite expensive. (This is for a small kitchen remodel.) But that was only the beginning of the miserable experience.

The main issue is that their "app" which is required to control the lighting doesn't work as per their (error-ridden) instructions, and the lights randomly disconnect from the wi-fi network. Oh and you have to change your wi-fi network (and your phone) from 5G to 2.4G, hope you know how to do that. Don't ask customer support as they don't know anything about that either.

Our builders were so frustrated by the Sensio lights that they gave up on installing them and asked me to do it. I should have just returned them to Howdens. None of the instructions (or videos!) match the way the products work, and the instructions are pretty poor to begin with.

I won't even go much into looking for an alternative to their "app". I phoned them and they told me to purchase their universal remote. On receiving it, it turns out it doesn't work with the "drivers" that I have (and that I told them I have). So now I have had to order their very expensive kinetic switches...and return the remote at a cost to myself.

They are very nice people on the phone. But utterly incompetent, and they openly admit that their instructions are useless. Avoid like the plague. Sorry Sensio, maybe you should hire a native English speaker to write your app and your manuals.

Sensio Reagan Rectangular Backlit…

Sensio Reagan Rectangular Backlit Heated Bathroom Mirror With Lights & Shaver Socket 800 X 600mm

Do you not buy this product? It is badly designed, the fitting dimensions and instructions are wrong and mine came with missing parts.

If you use their diagram to drill your holes, they are wrong by 10 mm so you”ll end up having to drill them again.

There is no recess behind the mirror for the electric cable so you’ll end up having to chisel out your plaster work because there is no way that you Sparky and plasterer are gonna get it to come out right behind the hole for the cable.

The instructions on how to operate it don’t mention the switches on the left and right side which isolate the shaver switch and the heated back plate.

The instructions don’t mention that if you hold the on off switch when switched off the light goes out. Which is pretty neat.

Why not have a timer on the heated mirror so you don’t leave it switch on all day he time.

Lights have failed and support unhelpful

My under cabinet lights have failed after 2 years of modest use. The units should have a 5 year guarantee but when I phoned the support line I found the lady was very unhelpful. She insisted that evidence of purchase was absolutely essential before they would even discuss the problem. The kitchen was fitted 2 years ago by an independent fitter so there is no chance of a receipt being available. I found the support service was most unhelpful.

Bought a Sensio LED light fitting for a…

Bought a Sensio LED light fitting for a cloakroom. Found that it has to be activated by waving a hand near the light fitting. So; go into the cloakroom, switch on the main lighting, then wave a hand near the Sensio light. Use the room for maybe 1 or 2 minutes, leave and put the light out. Poor! I asked if it is possible to set the Sensio light to come on when the main lighting is switched on; categorical no. So every time the room is used, need to switch the main light on, then wave a hand hopefully. Needless action. Lack of design thought. Will not buy again.
