Catastrophic crisis management. > Despite a major geopolitical context that made traveling to Dubai both impossible and dangerous (cascading flight cancellations and regional instability), this agency refused any commercial gesture or rescheduling option. Their lack of flexibility is shocking, but even more concerning is the total lack of regard for customer safety. Once the bank transfer is made, you simply cease to exist to them. A truly terrible experience.

In my experience, AWAKEN VACATION HOMES RENTAL LLC, operating with Serene Living Dubai as co-host, collected AED 47,060 via direct bank transfer for Apartment 2302, Horizon Tower, Dubai Marina for March 2–27, 2026. The payment was made outside any booking platform: AED 9,412 deposit on Feb 5 and AED 37,648 balance on Feb 24, both via Revolut SWIFT to their Mashreq Bank account. The rental was never provided: we never checked in, never received keys, and no services were rendered. A refund has been refused. Formal complaints were filed with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (ref EC-77706), Dubai Police eCrime, and the Belgian Embassy. Revolut chargebacks are in progress.
