ServPro carpet cleaning

ServPro carpet cleaners James and his girl Friday, Sam came to clean carpets and upholstery dirtied by my burst pipes. They were very conscientious and considerate. Areas that they cleaned looked remarkably better, almost like new. Quite a difference. Thanks to you both for your hard work!

The only made it worse!!

I had a wet crawlspace in a house I was buying. Seller paid sevpro to "fix" it. All they did was blow around the mold spores and mycotoxins, infecting the entire rest of the house, then they put an unsealed sheet of plastic over the (temporarily) dry dirt and called it a day. When the moisture came back, I asked them to simply seal off the plastic and they refused, saying it wasn't sealed when they got there. It's like taking your dented car to the body shop- they just paint over the dent and say that it was dented when you brought it in so they shouldn't fix it.

My insurance used Serv Pro for…

My insurance used Serv Pro for restoration, my house had a broken waterline due to cold weather. Serv Pro responded and they broke things that wasn’t related to the water damage, in the demo, it appeared that they just caused damage to stuff, etc, instead of taking of the outlet receptacles covers, they just broke the drywall and bent all the metal receptacle covers, big holes in the remaining drywall

We had a flooding issue on 2 floors servpro come out assessed the damage
Said there be out in a week to start work. Never heard back called back after 10 days said mitigation team will start next week then spoke to mitigation team 2 days before start date I asked there was no one here to take pictures of all pieces that needed to be replaced as per insurance request was told there only there to gut the rooms I have to get contractor for that. I said are you serious your company was supposed to handle all that he then told me to take that up with management.. I did and I fired them on the spot. Do not use if you don't need any headache.

Serve pro is an absolute nightmare

Serve pro is an absolute nightmare! They came out quickly to give an estimate . then they came to remove mold and the ceiling in my bathroom , that was on the first of February , 2023 .Getting them back to finish the job is a nightmare! All the heat and income lost because they pass the responsibility of to anyone they can name I’m outraged that they would leave me in a situation like this . Don’t give them your hard earned money!

After months of Servpro in and out of my house, because of water that had come from the attic, I could smell mold everywhere. Servpro has walked away, and I am stuck with mold in my house because they did not do a complete job.

The first 2 employees who came to my…

The first 2 employees who came to my house were supposed to tear out old floors and wash floors and walls with antibacterial cleaner. They left parts of the flooring and nails along the walls and cabinets, I have photos. The other 2 employees had to go through and take up the flooring along walls etc. When I showed them the contract, regarding washing the floors, he said he would only do the path where I walk from the dining area to the kitchen. Nothing was wiped down and or cleaned with any antibacterial cleaner.
The manager, Ryan called me that day requesting payment, I had told him upfront that this was an insurance claim and he would get paid when claim goes through. Manager Ryan and several other billing employees continued to call, text AND email me almost daily for the payment. I finally yelled at the one caller saying that they were basically harassing me at this point, I explained to them that when I got the approval for the claim, was awaiting for the check, then when check arrived, the bank holds the check for another 5 business days due to the amount. I demanded that they stop contacting and harassing me and I will get their payment to them. Evan after I explained to Ryan that my insurance agent requested that I get all the bills together and send to him via email all at once, (plumber, Servpro, Endwell Rug, hardware store for replacement ceiling tiles and estimate from contractor). Instead of one at a time, then i would receive the check minus my deductible, Ryan, Servpro manager, decided to contact my insurance agent and continued pushing for payment. I don't recommend this company for anything! $2332.00 for a lousy job tearing up old flooring and tossing in the trash. Rude and inconsiderate.

Wednesday Feb 15th

Wednesday Feb 15th, 2023 Servpro came to give an estimate. The rep, while taking videos then pics, asked that I sign a form to approve the job. He had not given a estimate. He left without giving an estimate stating I'd hear from him in 2 days. Nothing. I called Monday the 20th. I was told they'd call back. Nothing. Today is the 23rd. Nothing.

Dishonest and without business ethic

The day of the service in Miami they arrived at 2 hours, which is fine. Before installing the equipment, I ask approximately how much they are going to charge? They tell me about $1,300.00 and I ask about $2,000 the answer is no I said 10% more or less and said yes I agree servpro says we came back the next day and nobody showed make another appointment for the next day and they didn't go to the third appointment either they arrived Oh Surprise the final invoice $1,914.70 but they know they give me a Market condition charge of $91.18 and I ask why this charge and they tell me the economy is bad due to inflation. My friends told me that it is normal that they do not go to appointments to collect extra days. It is the worst company I have dealt with in my entire life. 0 recommendation

Farmers insurance called them out when…

Farmers insurance called them out when I had a basement leak. They arrived quickly and were absolutely wonderful. They brought 4 fans and a dehumidifier. Cut my walls to see where the water was coming from. They immediately cleaned everything up. They came back the next day to check the moisture and then came back again to check and pick up their equipment making sure they checked the levels and sprayed for mold Bryant in Phila was wonderful and so very respectful and helpful.

Servpro Wheaton

Wheaton Servpro worked on a Condo Building in Chicago due to water damage in several units. As one can imagine how horrible it can be when dealing with damage, this company did not work with the residents when coming into units to restore what was originally there.

Communication was terrible. Different people from the company would come into the unit and do
exactly the same thing that another employee had just done the day before. Right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, so to speak causing undo stress to the residents. This company expected to come and go as they pleased not taking into consideration that people have places to be and things to do. We are the customers. We have been inconvenienced so “let’s inconvenience us some more?” Nice.

Also, work was included in an estimate that was not needed. When contacted to make sure this was correct, no response was given. This led to distrust as well. Not nice to add work that is not needed. Take advantage of those struggling already?

Look for another company who will be understanding and will work with you to make repairs.

Communication is vital and they don’t have 3-4 different people that are supposed to be in charge. Makes for loss of communication. Remember you are hiring them. You have every right to whatever you need and they should be working fairly with you during this horrific time. Oh and the workers need to understand and speak English.

BUYER BEWARE…INSURANCE BEWARE…

This company will and has falsified account correspondence to gain payment from the insurance company, and if the insurance company refuses to pay the ridiculous amount billed, Servpro will in turn use this falsification to place a lien and or turn the insured into collections. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY…I am a former employee that was asked to falsify an account for a company that had an $11,000.00 bill for equipment that was left onsite and forgotten. Don’t be fooled, the Work Center program which provides date and time stamps can and do get manipulated to provide the story they want to be seen, even Dry logs can be and have been manipulated by Job File coordinators to produce the so called account “facts”. When the company tried to contest this bill I was directed by OFFICE MANAGER, Joy Cooper, to enter false correspondence in to the account so they could pursue this matter in court. However, it was SERVPRO that ultimately dropped the ball on that project. Due to the high volume of losses during the freeze multiple projects went to the wayside and equipment was left at multiple sites due to the negligence of the company not the customer. Yet, Servpro is still trying to profit from their lack of project management resulting in numerous customers being held financially accountable for SERVPRO failure to properly execute and complete the job. THE OWNER, is aware and has promoted the idea that falsifying records is part of the industry and is sometimes necessary, he has 4 locations; Commerce City, Denver North, North Thornton and Brighton. STAY CLEAR OF THESE SERVPRO LOCATIONS THEY WILL RIP YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE OFF!!!!!!

FLOODING EMERGENCY, NO HELP AT ALL.

Had a flooding issue that needed to be addressed quickly. Called the 24/7 number and they took my information down and said we were a priority. They said they would have someone call back quickly. after a few hours we called again and spoke with another person. They again took our information and said they would have someone call back to assist us. Never called, never heard from them. So we made other arrangements. Thanks for nothing.

This company treats their employees terrible.

This company ( Specifically the one for Elizabeth City/ Chesapeake/OBX/Portsmouth/ etc.) " Team Bahen" is one of the rudest "teams" I have ever seen. Sure, their work might be decent and good, but behind the scenes...they're terrible people. The higher ups treat all the employees like they're just a number and not a real person. As long as they are putting money in their pocket, they really don't care about you. They are unfaithful with their money and will not give you the amount they say they will. They have favorites and will play the card. If you aren't liked by the higher ups, they definitely will give you a run for your money. Hopefully they will learn what compassion is and not treat everyone so rude. The turnover rate is terrible because they don't know how to treat their employees. I have heard several of the employees AND former employees complain about how they got treated while working here. NOT COOL...

Such a pathetic company

Such a pathetic company, they should not even advertise in our area. We called them Dec 26, 2022 after frozen pipes burst. Been getting the run around with delay, delay, delay for over a month. Then they finally said they would come in 2 weeks later this month....2 Mos after the water damage. We finally found another company to do the work, called Serv Pro just now to cancel & they couldn't even find our name......so disgusting

My pipes froze then burst after…

My pipes froze then burst after Christmas. Servpro of Medina continued to follow-up until they were able to reach me. Everyone was kind, friendly and honest. It is very refreshing to get good customer service. Thanks Servpro!!

Delays, Bullying, No transparency, Liars

I do not usually write a review but they are just absolutely terrible and dishonest business. Delays, multiple accidents due to negligence, charging premium money, providing low-quality material, untrustworthy people, and absolute bullies. stay away from these folks.
the first accident happened in 2020 Nov and after they took over two more accidents happened. the material was ordered in Jun 2021 (arrived in Aug 2021) and work was completed in June 2022. There is zero transparency, and terrible reps who are bullies. Absolutely the worst people ever.
