Sesame is the BEST. Far better than an in-person Doctor’s visit for routine prescriptions or inquiries. Dr. Okeke is highly recommended. Very pleasant and helpful. We’ve used him several times for... See more

Simple, convenient and easy. Affordable without insurance and without a membership. Logged on set appointment for 9:30pm. Appoint was quick and easy prescriptions were sent to Amazon pharmacy and delivered to my door by 8:00am.

Horrible experience. False-Advertisement as prescription refill. Refused to prescribe my fertility medication.
I was traveling from Europe and needed a Prescription transposed after the supply I brought finished. Finding their ads, I booked a meeting.
I received one doctor who refused to prescribe the medication because it was 'typical' for it to be perscribed by an endocrinologist.
firstly. was prescribed by a endocrinologist. following my original diagnosis, which is why this is a prescription refill.
Secondly. There are no legal restrictions on GP's from issuing prescriptions for HCG in California.
Fine. Bad egg, maybe she was uncomfortable. I take her advice I choose a doctor that SPECIFICALLY has endocrinology experience on his profile - book another meeting.
This time he messages while the call is ongoing though he is not present, saying 'quote from previous doctor summary about prescription typically being prescribed by endocrinologists. '
I then point out that his profile literally has endocrinology experience on it. - doesn't get acknowledged.
Never joins call
TLDR -
- Doctor didn't make up his decision at all- literally quoted the past doctor as his first message to me.
- biased by past opinion.
- Doctors having listed experience descriptions that didn't match their reveled expertise or comfort (he can already legally perscribe it, if he had endo experience he would have prescribed it, or atleast spoke to me about why he didn't - None of that occurred)
- Platform false advertising as prescription renewal service and doctors then suggesting I need diagnosis for something that is already a specialist diagnosis, requires a full blood panel, has no safety concerns, and which they're entirely within their rights to just prescribe at will to a patient on their best judgment.
I never write bad reviews like this but My mother is a registered nurse of 30 years. I grew up around medicine, that is why I know this is bullshit.
FOr the record I already filed a complaint with this so they can't say shit about not identifying me.

Do not use the fertility service through the Costco partnership
First - I will start by saying the doctor and the customer service team were AMAZING - quick and responsive. This is a Sesame corporate issue.
Here’s the problems:
1. The first step in IVF planning when using a donor or not - which most do - is getting a genetic carrier screen. The doctor through Sesame wrote me a prescription for this lab work. Quest would not accept this since it wasn’t through the portal. The doctor confirmed she was unable to enter the CPT code (which I then confirmed with both Sesame and Quest) was an issue because Sesame does not allow their own providers access to genetic carrier screening CPT codes. So they are unable to handle the most basic function of fertility bloodwork which is step 1. This is not a well thought out vertical of business and it screams money grab based on their marketing vs actual capabilities.
2. The initial doctor you meet is not an IVF specialist (they are mostly family medicine PAs) - their job is to write the prerequisite scans and bloodwork prescriptions (most of which Sesame does not have the capability for - see #1 above). They then refer you out to their partnered IVIRMA locations which are the actual IVF clinics. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON WHERE THESE CLINICS ARE. They are only in 10 states according to their website with most states having few locations most which are nowhere near patients.
These are very large, established corporations in partnership. The program is not sufficient and from what I’ve seen alludes to a money grab of multiple groups making money from the 3 layers of referrals (Costco, Quest, Sesame and IVIRMA) without proper capabilities for the service they claim to provide.

Two stars is generous. My experience with Sesame Care has been a failure from start to finish.
The provider I saw was dismissive and clearly trying to rush through the appointment as fast as possible. He didn't listen, didn't engage with my concerns, and the visit felt like a transaction rather than care. Then he sent a lab order that my local lab couldn't even process. When I asked him to fix it, he told me he couldn't and that I'd need to contact support.
Support took over a day to respond. When they finally did, they told me the provider had to make the change — the same provider who had just told me he couldn't. It then took several more days of back-and-forth to get a corrected lab order. That's a week of my time wasted on something the provider should have handled correctly the first time, or fixed in five minutes when I flagged it.
To top it off, the booking flow is now broken and I can't even schedule a follow-up. So I've paid for a visit, gotten nothing useful out of it, lost a week chasing a basic correction, and now can't access the platform to move forward.
If you're considering Sesame Care, look elsewhere. The provider quality, the support response time, and the platform itself have all failed. I would not recommend this service to a

My experience actually exceeded any expectations I may have had. Kathryn Ruliffson PA-C was professional, knowledgable and attentive and genuinely kind, caring and warm. Excellent experience. I will be back.

My Provider is Kerleine Rosemey, she’s been awesome. She's professional, thorough and she listens to my opinions and concerns and follows up with her expert advice. Although I have insurance through my employer I much rather have her as my PCP due to her attentiveness, ease of access and her knowledge of her profession.

I felt very at ease and confident talking to my provider Randy, she was very understanding and easy to talk to,her energy was positive and her tone very calming ,Sesame Care provides care at a reasonable rate if you don't have insurance,a provider is always available on call,Thanks Sesame Care for being there for me.The best part is that the providers specialize in many different health conditions, that's a plus especially for older adults, and also you can change providers if necessary ,it's good to have options ,and it's good to be able to have input over your own health, thanks Sesame Care I appreciate you.

Ashley is so nice, kind, and very professional. She listens carefully, she looks for the best and most affordable options, she was right on time, and she shows that she really cares. Ashley never rushes to end the appointment visit. I HIGHLY recommend her, and I feel very blessed and grateful to find a nice provider like her.

I had two great visits with Jonathan Wolverton, PA. He is an excellent listener and was the only practitioner out of many I consulted who took my issue seriously and got me the treatment I needed. I am close to a full recovery now. He asked me to see a specialist in person for follow-up care, gave me a letter of medical necessity, and volunteered to advocate for me by phone if I continued to have difficulty getting seen in person. He is not only a consummate professional, but he is kind, intelligent, well-prepared, and a delight to work with. Unequivocally highly recommended! A+

Subscribed and prepaid for 12 months only received 9 months of product. Then two months later a random charge of $89. I was never on their monthly subscription. The reviews on here seems to be padded. At least it was a total scam. I got 9 months worth of product.
