To the office they said I had to provide the declaration page to my insurance so I had to call my insurance company for our declaration page only to find out it was not enough coverage for them and was charged outrageous hidden insurance fees of $600.00 over the total cost at time of booking Had no choice since I was stuck at their office. When I got the car it had many dents and the paint was peeling off the doors. I was extremely embarrassed to show up at my family’s house paying an outrageous amount for a rent a wreck!!!!!

Warning about Liability Insurance.
This company only accepts liability insurance from a limited number of US insurance companies. That information is not found on many booking sites or is in the fine print of others. I have full coverage through CAA Insurance and was not able to use it and it cost me an additional $30 per day. After doing some investigation I discovered that many second tier rental companies have similar policies that will cost you extra.

Your credit card only covers collision not liability and can be used if your credit card has rental coverage.

Many 3rd party booking sites do not tell you this and it is not stated in the terms and conditions or on the voucher you give to the rental agency.

Before booking anywhere confirm with the rental company that they will accept your Liability Insurance or you will end up paying more that the Tier 1 rental companies.

You should never use this car company. It is a scam. They advertise a Low price and once you get to the location they will stick you with a ridiculous price and because of there location once you get off of the van from the airport you have minimal options other than taking their car even though you are paying a RIDICULOUS cost for the car. Don’t be fooled by thier advertising-go somewhere else!!

1. Buried the $300,000 mandatory liability requirement in the fine print.
2. Website & booking paperwork claimed that there was a counter at the Airport. There was none.
3. Confirmation texts were not received only a phone call the day before.
4. Signage for the office was not visible from the street.
5. Cancellation policy was a credit only not a regund.
6. At times, I was talked down to.
7. Car I was supposed to get was dirty, but the exterior of the car received was filthy.

3. Agent was helpful with recommending how to navigate the area without buying the $10 - $15 per day Sun Pass rental fee.

I recently rented at the seven auto rent location. We had a great experience with a quick and pleasant experience at the pick up counter. The car was in excellent condition and had modern features like Android Auto. Congratulations to Cole on quitting!!!

I booked a rental at seven auto Rent after the tram only traveled so far outside the airport and I must say I was pleased with my overall experience. From picking up the vehicle to returning it, the process was very easy! No hidden fees, no long waiting lines or discrepancies. Herbert A. was very helpful in getting us on our way and providing destination attractions for my family and I to visit during our vacation.

Blake and Johnathan were both incredible setting me up with a vehicle. I flew in from overseas and called before hand to ensure I could have a vehice when I arrived and they answered all my questions with kindness. Normally organizing a vehicle when travelling is stressful, but I didn't feel that at all here.

When I arrived they were so cool and suggested me things to do while I stayed.

On my next long term stay, no matter where my accomodation is in Florida I will fly into Orlando and rent here just because of them.

This place is a SCAM. They force you to pay PDL insurance ($400) even if you have your own. They won't let you use your ePass for the Toll and sell you their eToll ($90). When I declined, they told us we couldn’t have the car. We had no choice but to pay an additional $500.

I have rented from tons of rental car places. This place is a SCAM. They force you to pay PDL insurance even if you have your own. They refer you to their websites terms and conditions (which they couldn’t find). I showed them it’s not on their website, they told us we couldn’t have the car then. We got the car after paying a stupid extra amount, the car was LITERALLY falling apart. It had over 100k miles, both driver and passenger seatbelts never worked-they were entirely locked up and the car was so damaged in every area. Also got a “sun compact” car after paying for a “midsize”. Sweet gig you’re running, Seven Auto.

This place is a total scam, they tell you on the website one price and once you get there they will charge you $100 more per day for an insurance that nobody has.

Today Dic 25th 2023, We tried to call the third party they use for the online booking and nobody has answered for us to be able to cancel.

We lost a whole day trying to figure out our rental situation. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! IT IS A SCAM

Hidden fees. They require you to pay for collision insurance even if u have collision through state farm and credit card. You cannot use your personal toll transponder so you have to pay $10-$15 for daily tolls. It almost doubled rental cost. We booked through Dicovercars.com. they said it waa OTO car rental but it is the same office as seven and the contract says seven auto. This company is a scam

The worst car rental we’ve ever dealt with and will never deal with again.

Took 1.5 hours to receive a shuttle ride from the airport to their office (which is only a 10-15m drive)

Their fees were much higher than portrayed upon booking; hidden.

Do not book.

READ ALL SMALL PRINT before signing a rental agreement with this company. We are still waiting for the return of our $1,000 security deposit; and to top it all off we were FORCED at time of rental to take insurance with them at a cost that far exceeded the cost of the rental itself. READ THE CONTRACT and SIGN NOTHING until you do!!!

This company is a scam. Please don't fall into the trap of their low prices online. We effectively lost a day in Orlando because of this headache. We booked a mid size sedan for 8 days via discover cars website for seven auto. When we reached they declined to accept our collision insurance provided by our credit card and also declined the liability insurance which I have from progressive. They said it is not enough and tried to overcharge me 520$ for 8 days for insurance despite me having collision insurance covered by my credit card and liability covered by progressive. 520$ was a ridiculously high amount that they wanted to charge me. I had a paid an advance of 47$ and rest of the payment was due at pickup. We left the place and went to NU car rental which was just 0.4miles away and we got the same exact rental for 200$ for 8 days and they were okay with are credit card and my car insurance for all coverage. Seven auto is a complete scam and they would want ridiculously high liability coverage and then try to charge a very high insurance.

Days prior to arriving, I called about the insurance policy. Person at the company said my insurance was fine. When I arrive to pick up the car, I was told my insurance wasn't fine and needed to pay an additional $200 (2x the total rental cost). Dishonest business practice. Do not recommend!

I should have read the reviews before booking. The only time having a bad experience with a rental company in over 30 years of travelling. Price at booking was too good to be true ($104 for the week with limited mileage). We had 3 separate rental car insurance of our own (2 personal and one through ViSA), but they insisted on charging me $353 for additional insurance because they refused to recognize our own (first time I encountered this). We should have walked away, but it was late and dark out. They video’d the entire car to record any damages when I picked it up. When I returned the vehicle, they claimed there was a small chip on the hood that I caused. I asked to see the before video, and if true, then I would pay for the damage (just under $200, not a big deal). But they would not show me the before video and they kept us there waiting for the manager. We were about to be late for our flight. We told them that we can settle this over email or phone when I returned home, so long as they can provide the before video. They would not agree to this either. They wanted me to sign to pay for the damages without proof before we can leave. We just walked away and took an Uber to the airport (since they refused to give us a ride back to the airport). An easy situation to resolve if they just showed us the before video. But they used our flight schedule to delay and try and force us to pay. The worst ever experience renting a car! The reviews I’ve read were similar to our experience. I would not rent a car from Seven Auto ….. ever!

By the way, I think some of the 5-star reviews are for Seven Car Rental. This is not the same company as Seven Auto on McCoy Road. Seven Auto is the worst company I rented from. Let‘s not praise the wrong company.

As always, you can tell how good a service is when things go wrong and how it is dealt with. Unfortunately, in the case of Seven Auto and VIP Cars, have both been terrible to deal with.

Long story short - Seven Auto were dishonest and made me pay over $500 claiming that the insurance from their partner (from VIP Cars) was not sufficient, even though the documentation clearly stated it was. VIP Cars then offered a pathetic $100 refund which clearly demonstrates their disregard for customers.

I shall be looking for legal advice on the matter now.
