I attended this course in Chester in 2024-25. Firstly, all the tutors were really lovely & supportive. They made you feel really welcome. The course was spread over several weekends and was well paced. For me, this was a refresher course having been out of practice for a while. Gaining an understanding of neuroscience was very helpful but I felt the course was very heavy theory based and not enough practical. Also, it’s incredibly difficult to get established as a hypnotherapist in such a saturated market but this is no criticism on the trainers. Overall, a good course if you’re thinking of developing a career in hypnotherapy but do your research first as it’s a hard area to get established.

From the first moment I started contact with the team at SFTA I knew this was going to be worthwhile. There was care and attention paid to my needs and reasons for wanting to do the course right from the outset. It was clear what they offered, how the course would progress, and what I would need to do along the way.
The course itself was a great mixture of fun, interaction, and practical knowledge and application. The tutors were incredibly knowledgable and experienced, and very open about sharing all they knew. The course materials were very helpful in concreting knowledge and understanding in between sessions.
One of the implicit things the course offers is the role modelling that the tutors did. Their behaviour and ways of working was a great reinforcement in the discipline and boundaries needed in hypnotherapy practice.
For anyone considering becoming a solution focused hypnotherapist I’d highly recommend SFTA. They offer the highest standard of learning you could hope for.

I had an amazing experience training to be a solution focused hypnotherapist with SFTA. John and Natalie are so knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. It was a big decision for me to re-train after years in the corporate world but I haven't looked back. The support has been incredible all the way through and I have met some of the most amazing new friends! I'd highly recommend.

I highly recommend SFTA Hypnotherapy Training School and John and Natalie’s teaching. John and Natalie made the teaching very interactive, engaging and I have learned a huge amount over the 8 modules. All the materials provided were excellent and John and Natalie were always available for support outside of the in person classes.

Training with Caron and Adele at SFTA Manchester has been such a wonderful and life-changing experience. From the very first session, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. I completed the Solution Focused Academy Hypnotherapy Diploma with SFTA. I found the course very well structured and easy to follow, lead by two fantastic tutors / Hypnotherapists John and Natalie.
