Massive shout out to the 2 lads that done the delivery. I have my arm in a sling so wasn't able to help as much as normal. They were polite and Concerned for my arm when I was trying to help. Thought quickly on the spot to manoveur a 200kg load. Deffinatley went above and beyond and should be commended for doing so.

Very disappointed with the delivery service from SGK Distribution Ltd.
This morning I received delivery of two wooden gates weighing around 40 kg each. I had specifically asked for them to be left at the back of my house. Unfortunately, nobody called me to let me know the delivery was on the way.
Instead, the gates were left at the front of my property, blocking access to the bike shed where all my children’s bikes are stored.
When I was about to take my children to school in the morning, I discovered the gates had already been delivered and left in the wrong place. On top of that, some of my flowers were damaged.
Big negative for this company.

Thank you for your response. However, I do not agree with your explanation, and several important facts appear to have been overlooked.
Firstly, at 8:09pm the day before delivery, I personally sent delivery instructions clearly stating where the items should be left — specifically at the rear of my property. Therefore, it is incorrect to suggest that your delivery team relied only on the supplier’s instructions.
Secondly, your tracking information states “signature unavailable.” This is inaccurate. The gates were delivered at 7:34am, and I was at home at that time. Your driver could simply have knocked on the door or used the doorbell. No attempt was made to contact me or obtain acceptance of the delivery.
Thirdly, your own Terms & Conditions clearly state:
“It is important that an adult (over 18 years of age) is available to accept the delivery.”
and also:
“In the case of a basic delivery, please ensure all packaging of item(s) are carefully checked…”
This clearly implies that the customer should be given the opportunity to receive and inspect the goods before delivery is completed. That opportunity was not provided.
Instead, two heavy gates (approximately 40kg each) were left in the wrong location, blocking access to my children’s bike shed, and damage was caused to plants on my property.
My review accurately reflects my experience with this delivery service, and based on the facts above, I do not believe any amendment is appropriate.

Delivery arrived, only to not have the item aboard. Rescheduled for the next day only to not turn up. Delivery update team were very unhelpful, and had a lot of difficultly understanding the issue. I’ve wasted multiple mornings dealing with this company. Avoid if possible.

SGK "lost" a coffee table ordered from Roseland as part of a 3 piece order. Despite numerous attempts for them to find it over several days eventually they gave up & Roseland sent me a seperate order via DPD that arrived the next day. I understand things go wrong but any company is measured by how they react, Roseland were superb, SGK disgraceful. No call backs, no updates, no empathy just the repetitive "it's not been scanned so it's in the warehouse somewhere". Eventually the other 2 items were delivered but again Roseland had to get them to schedule for next day which is still a week late. Roseland: thanks for your customer service - SGK: you couldn't organise a pi55 up in a brewery & don't deserve the Roseland contract.
Edit: Had a phone call from a CSM who (guess what?) spouted the same nonsense about it not being scanned then tried to blame Roseland saying they hadn't sent it yet it was scanned out of Roseland on 7th May!
At least SGK have replied & apologised which is something but they really need some CS hints & tips how to treat customers when things go wrong.

The team advised delivery time, sofa was taken of vehicle and transferred to room of choice, all put together speedily and with care all waste boxes etc taken away.
They were polite even asking if they should remove their shoes.

Ordered a mattress and accessories at the weekend but booked the delivery for the following Thursday. The retailer advised SGK would be in touch nearer the time. I then received emails, phone calls day before and half an hour before delivery. The delivery team Karla and Ajay were very polite and professional. They expertly negotiated the mattress box to the bedroom were it was required. All goods were in good condition on delivery. I have been very impressed with the service they provided and would recommend them.

Communication was spot on, a call received advising me I was next for delivery drop off. The outer box was slightly damaged, the delivery guys offered to unpack and fully check the item for me. They were both polite and respectful of my property.
