SGT Horrible company to deal with! One star if that!! Terrible customer service! They only respond in live chat! They break contracts and then charge you more! They call you from spam numbers and when you call back, they don’t answer! I had a set price in a contract, then they didn’t honor the price, missed my pickup window and canceled the deal. Horrible!! I would never use them again! Their supervisors won’t even call you on the phone. 5 thumbs down!! Don’t get scammed by this company!!

I would give them a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Pretty happy with the transport service. Also the price was much lower than the other top tier brokers. The only thing was communication was not the best. They only have Live Chat Support which was a bit annoying at first, however it worked well after all. Also, the specific carrier was not the most proactive customer service company… but they showed up on time to pick up the car and they delivered as promised. Overall, I would use this company again.

I recently used SGT Auto Transport Company to ship two vehicles from California to South Carolina, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The driver was extremely accommodating, working with our schedule to make the pick-up and delivery as smooth as possible. Not only was he professional, but also genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience stress-free. Both vehicles arrived on time and in perfect condition. I have shipped several cars over the years and by far this has been the best experience. From entering an order on Tuesday night the car was picked up Wednesday and delivered from Florida to North Carolina on Thursday morning. The driver kept in constant touch and indicated he would deliver the car at 8:ooam. Right on the money he delivered the car in perfect shape, was polite and professional. He even parked it in the garage for my wife who can't drive manual. Outstanding service all around, will certainly be my go to from now on.

The drivers are quick and clearly experts on loading on the trailer. Shipped a large camping van and a pickup truck and they arrived undamaged and in incredible time

I started as a skeptic, having been warned of an industry rife with bait and switch tactics. I was pleasantly surprised every step of the way as the quoted price never changed, in spite of a couple of “uh-ohs” on my part along the way. So much easier than I imagined it would be! I would recommend SGT to anyone, especially those who have never tried to ship a vehicle before.

I had a serious issue with SGT Auto Transport involving misrepresentation and an unauthorized charge.

I was verbally quoted a fixed price of $1,100 and told I could leave up to 100 lbs of personal items in my vehicle. When I later reviewed the actual shipping agreement, those terms were not included. The contract allowed re-quoting, prohibited personal items, and broadly disclaimed responsibility.

I explicitly refused to sign the agreement and sent written cancellation the same day, before accepting any terms. Despite this, SGT treated the order as “electronically signed” simply because I had entered my credit card information, which is not consent.

After reiterating by email and phone that I did not agree to the contract, SGT still charged my card $199 as a cancellation fee and refused to reverse it, stating there was “nothing they could do.”

The issue is not the money—it’s the practice of processing contracts without affirmative consent and charging fees after cancellation. I have filed a BBB complaint and a credit card dispute.

Based on my experience, I would advise others to be extremely cautious and ensure everything is documented in writing before providing payment information.

I have reviewed the document provided by SGT as the alleged "signed" Shipping Agreement. The document appears to be a generated contract containing my typed name; however, it does not include a complete electronic signature audit trail demonstrating affirmative assent.

I did not manually execute a separate signature action after reviewing and agreeing to the contract terms. I explicitly declined to proceed once I identified material discrepancies between the verbal representations and the written agreement and sent written cancellation notice on February 8, 2026 at 3:47 PM.

The document provided does not contain:
* A detailed electronic signature certificate
* A verified click-through record showing the specific action taken to accept the agreement
* The authentication methodology used to validate the signer
* A system log showing the exact timestamp (including time zone) of signature execution
* A clear sequence of events demonstrating that assent occurred after full presentation of the terms
* Server logs demonstrating the specific user action that constituted assent (e.g., click event confirmation)
* Confirmation of when the order was marked "activated" in their system relative to my cancellation email

If SGT asserts that a valid electronic signature was executed, the complete forensic audit trail should be produced. A generated PDF containing a typed name does not independently establish informed and intentional assent. If affirmative assent occurred, the technical record should clearly show a distinct action beyond the mere entry of payment information.

Additionally, after this complaint was filed, SGT offered to refund the charge on the condition that I remove reviews and close this complaint. That conditional offer further demonstrates that the matter remains in dispute.

Everything went so smooth from booking to delivery. This price quoted stayed the same. Car picked up and delivered with the times we requested. The driver was absolutely the best. Will definitely use when we head home.

A review of SGT Auto Transport:

Booked a auto transport with this company thinking a high rating would save me from the headaches of scams and such. Not so! This company confirmed a contracted shipping price of $911. Two days later and 3 days before my desired ship date they bumped the price by nearly $3OO. Clear bait and switch to me. Don't waste your time, go with a reputable company.
After I complained and declined the contract, they returned with TWO subsequent offers, the last to my original bid. But by then I had lost trust and moved on.

Overall Everything was First class, from the time I inquired about a pick up and delivery, the redone time and communication was perfect. Kept in constant contact with me. Driver was outstanding. As I said ABSOLUTELY WILL RECOMMEND ,
