The price was competitive and they delivered and fitted on the time requested. I would certainly advise anyone purchasing fitted blinds to get a quote from them.

Excellent service, Staff were friendly and knowledgeable with a very quick turnaround to made to measure blinds were installed. The blind fabric is really great quality and price was competitive. Love my blinds, Will definitely use Shades again and will recommend to friends & family.

Friendly helpful guys blinds getting fitted on Tuesday

Measuring and ordering blinds was straightforward. However, the fitting of the blinds was terrible. They're not central to the window, with a 2cm difference between the two sides. The safety hooks, holding the cord, were also not levelled on two adjacent windows, with one being 5cm higher than the other.
They're very unpleasant to look at. We need to redo the blinds ourselves now, fill the holes and paint over. If you do buy blinds from this company, I would advise against using their fitting service.

Definitely very shady they talk politely promise the earth but every word they utter is a lie they are not cheap Danny constantly talks to you as if he's your best friend and will sort everything out and never does I did try to cancel as I was promised delivery 3 days in a row they ignored me trying to cancel delivered and fitted a blind that is covered in black marks that don't wipe of Danny said don't do put anything in them to clean it he was supposed to contact the supplier but is now blocking me I wish I had read the reviews before trusting there promises my fault for not checking please don't waste your money on this company I'm still trying to get them to repair mine going by other reviews that is not going to happen they take your money right away and wont let you cancel no matter how much they let you down Danny will blame everyone else when he's the one lying to your face

Process to get inbuilt Venetian blinds in conservatory was seamless and efficient from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was helpful, friendly professional and knowledgeable. And it was a very fair price having been given a quotation at almost double for the same thing from another company.

Terrible company, dont trust them to ever turn up on time. would not let them fit a doll a house. You cant trust the sales team to send a fitter on time! USELESS!

The fitter arrived in the time allocated was very pleasant and did the job in efficiently and quickly. Happy customer.

Met with sales rep Joshua to discuss options and prices. He was so knowledgeable and honest. Gave us a lot to think about that we hadn't even considered which I'm so glad he pointed out from the get go.
The quote and products seem ideal - we are just trying to decide what to finally go with. Will update further if we do decide to get blinds from Shades.
But one i thing i can say is that I did not feel pressured into making our decision last night and that's normally how I feel with sales representatives.

They should desist from suggesting to customers that the quote they will be given includes a Sales Event discount of 50% + a further bonus discount of 10% from NORMAL prices. Don't insult them.

Definitely something shady about this blind company!! So beware!! Went online to thier web site!! 50% off plus A further 10% if booked and ordered blinds!! Great deal i thought !!will definitely get them out to measure and priced !! Rep turned up ! Now I've already measured and priced the blinds using thier online tool... First blinds came in at £60.55 , Reps price £115.00 twice the price! I challenged the rep on the price ,that's not the price quoted on your website site The big sale 50% off.. Rep replies oh I know nothing of that ! It must be ah web sale!! SO!! when you put your measurements in to the web site , you need to book appointment for the rep to attend your property to complete the sale!! Now all sales and up in coming discounts surly all reps would be well informed of any upfront ! upcoming ! new sales deal.. and you need to book an appointment, Alarms bells!! Started to ring ... definitely Something a miss here!! I stopped the rep from continuing and told him I don't want to waste your time ... but that's not what you have advertised!! And showed him the door!! Still waiting on a response from customers service... you have been warned, don't get caught out!! Shady!!
Been ask to update this asked this review or it might be removed... this was my experience in dealing with this company ....after dealing with thier sales rep , who mentioned,give the company customer service team a call and they should help or explain regarding this... so I did !! On the next day , who added that they weren't to clear on the sales , and would check with another member higher up in the team... and would call back next morning!! They never did return the call with an answer to why....!! So being asked to pay nearly double the price, made think something isn't right! Sales team no nothing of sales!! Customer service no nothing! And what on sale on website!! And customer service not returning your call to your queries!! You make your own mind up after reading this review !! This has been my experience!! You decide.. !!! If trustpilot wish to remove this review so be it... this is my given experience! And have nothing more to say on the matter...

One thing I was impressed by was their professionalism, sometimes too much. The sales guy was helpful, the fitter only took I’d say 10mins maximum to fit blinds so quick . The only thing I say was the mechanisms you use to pull the blind up and down got stuck so I tried to pull it the blind was sticking and wouldn’t go back up. I know they are childproof but the blind isn’t going up and down like it should.

Representative was punctual. Professional and easy to discuss our blinds with.

Not even had the blinds installed yet and not impressed.

Had the guy out to measure all good, seemed genuinely good from the get go. Paid my 2 payments and appointment booked for Thursday.
Thursday comes and not heard anything between the 0900-1000 window for appointment confirmation, so I gave them a call. Oh the installer has had a puncture, delayed around 1.5hrs … that’s fine. Called back at 4pm oh there was an issue at the factory with your blind, a miscommunication. Let me know they could get someone to install a Friday even though they don’t cover the area that day. Not heard anything by 2pm Friday, call and get told they won’t be installing. It will be Monday - comes to the Monday, I call and advise it’s been booked in for the Tuesday…. Undeliverable service especially when I am chasing it and no one seems to know what’s going on!

Ryan came out to help us choose our new blinds today, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all our questions without any pressure. We couldn't be happier with the experience and would highly recommend Shades Blinds to anyone looking for excellent customer service and quality products.
