Shark Vacuum UK Reviews 

I buy mine directly from their online store. I have bought Shark Vaccuum for 20+ years and I have observed that every time I buy a new one they get less and less effective. I bought a Shark Stratos® DuoClean® PowerFins® HairPro® Upright Vacuum, because I have two indoor Corgi's and this vacuum stated it was good with pet hair. It is ok if you are vacuuming floors with no carpet, but once you go onto carpet, I definately give it a thumbs down and I am very dissappointed in their product

Shark stratos duo anti hair wrap. Had less than 12 months and started to have power issues can’t get round a 3 bed house without having to stop and re-charge, switching itself off and very poor suction. Emailed Shark twice and had no response. If you considering one - steer clear.

I have bought the top of the range hoovers in the past
and then I bought a shark power detect HZ400UKT
and wow what a hoover, wish that I had gone over to shark years ago, the machine is amazing and the suction
is out of this world, and a very versatile hoover

Bought 2 in 1 robot leaks water every where.
Ive had parts sent out still doesnt cure and when you call helpline in Bombay shall we say its not much help .

Customer service is awful! It used to be so good. We bought a hoover and it came with a faulty battery, it wouldn’t charge. I asked for a replacement and would send the faulty one back. They came back to me saying they would send me a second hand repaired Hoover if I sent them mine. I said no, I’d just like a new battery! They called us by the wrong names in every email. They eventually sent us a new battery but it was for a different model. Absolutely shocked at their lack of attention to any detail.

Shark Duo Anti hair - when it works great. The only vac that should come supplied with a garden cane as it’s the only thing you can stick down the tube to clear blockages that will inevitably happen within 3 rooms.

Where do i start with this! So my first mistake was letting my wife decide we needed a shark hoover (big red flag) but i prevailed. Second mistake was actually purchasing the thing and my final mistake was trying to use it as a hoover.... more fool me.

Within 0.3 seconds the thing was blocked nothing to industrial basic household dust/dirt wasn't trying to hoover up the pacific ocean or Escobars warehouse. IT has the capacity of moths stomach and generally just a horrible design (how can you design a vacuum wrong you might ask let me get to that.)

Cant carry the thing upstairs without fracturing your shins and trying to murder you.

Positive note VERY easy to take apart as ive mastered it down to the speed of an F1 pit stop

Did not receive item. Still not got refund nearly a month later. Bad communication and customer service tells lies.

Excellent products and outstanding service. I needed to order a new pipe attachment for my Shark hoover and found the exact part quickly and easily on their website, priced very competitively. I placed the order on Sunday evening and it arrived on Monday — incredibly fast delivery. A great company to deal with and I would definitely recommend them..

Ive got a Shark Stratos cordless hoover which has developed a noisy motor. Just over a year old. Went through diagnostics with Shark. The customer support person waas really helpful. New motor despatched to arrive in a few day. Very friendly and efficient service. No quibbling or delays.

My two and a half years old Shark WandVac WV270UK has stopped, just beyond 2 year warranty and so I rang them and they asked for more and more information until when i went to give them the Serial Number which is Z14R6609A5A5 they had put the phone down.
What good is that sort of service when they have sold me a product with such inbuilt obsolescence.
I have cleaned the product assiduously every time I have used it.

Shark replaced parts under warranty with no hassle no stress all under 3 minutes of my time start to finish and new part arrived next day !! Can’t get better than that

Update from my August review on no replenishment parts available for Shark Power Detect robot vacuum cleaner RV28020VEUK . Guess what? Still a big fat zero for side-brush and filters etc. and still no images uploaded of the parts.

Shark CarpetXpert Deep Carpet Cleaner EX150UK..
Purchased this machine to do a clean on our carpets..
it was useless,seemed to leave the carpert dirtier than before...followed all instructions used the reccomended cleaning fluid...tried on several carpets..tried doing 2/3 times and on a friends carpet
got better results with a soap and sponge !!!!

Dont waste your money...

I purchased a Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Pet Vacuum in July 2024 and the wand hinge part (where it folds for easy storage) remained locked and was unable to be opened. I called customer services on Friday afternoon (2nd Jan) who immediately sent a new wand under guarantee that arrived on 3rd Jan! Unbelievably quick and efficient service to a happy customer.

My shark hoover was on warranty and my motor base, floor nozzle were not working properly. I rang customer service twice, and both issues were resolved, they sent me a new floor nozzle and motor base and my hoover is working like new, I can’t thank them enough both products and a hand nozzle were delivered within a couple days, my hoover is saved. I recommend shark it’s the best hoover I’ve ever had. I have shark nv602uk66, and with my warranty I got the replacements for free, no hassle, shark really value there customers and go to all lengths to resolve your problems, I’ll definitely shop again as I’m disabled and this hoover isn’t heavy, and the hand held is brilliant, brilliant for pet hair thick carpets and flooring. Customer service 10+, shark hoovers 10+ thanks shark for replacing my broken parts and for providing a service that was very helpful and not complicated, both polite and easy to understand and no hassle about replacing products on warranty 2nd of January and the 3rd my replacements was deliver 1-2days of calling twice for replacements.

I ordered a vacuum and i received an email conformation. 30 minutes later my order was cancelled. No reason was given. I phoned them and was told to order again. I did this and again it was cancelled. I did this three times and they couldn't give me a reason why my order kept being cancelled. They said they would look into it and email me. I haven't heard from them since. Terrible customer service. I bought a Dyson instead.

A dreadful vacuum, the IZ400, the bearings started screaming. The Shark customer service said they would replace, and they haven't..their reason is that as I sold my house, and took my broken hoover with me..they wont replace, as the warranty is now null and void because I moved to France (I've offered to send it back at my own expense)...even though it was broken before I left the country.
The vacuum is poorly constructed and lasted maybe 30-40 uses before it's bearings started screaming... Please don't waste your money buying a Shark they're crap.

Our shark cordless hoover started playing up 18 months in, an electrical fault we believe. Called the customer service to see if it was under warranty and the staff were excellent, sent out a new part and we received it the next day... good as new.
