I thought I could do with another vacuum as the Dyson we had was years old and had a tricky belt to change. So just browsed the sales. A good priced lift off corded pet one was found and it was paid for and the next day it come! I love the packaging ( this is my second) it’s all card and paper- no nasty polystyrene, and it’s easy to assemble. I could have got a cheaper one as the pet part seems to be just a rotary brushed head - which I already had, but it also says it’s anti hair wrap so we shall see. It sucks like the devil and is pretty heavy going over my shag pile rug compared to my old one, but I feel sure it will be fine. I like the lift off capability and the tube release is easy and quick.

Bought top of the range cordless vac off amazon had a few issues with the battery life and suction after a couple of month. Shark did not want to know or help but luckily Amazon replaced the product and the new identical product is working fine. Poor customer service from shark luckily Amazon come to the rescue

It's been over 7 years and our shark is still going strong. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Lightweight, suction good, battery life excellent. It does get tangled up with hair but I hear the latest models are much improved!

Customer service has been very poor. I've tried to resolve the issue several times but getting nowhere. Due to this I'm unable to register the product to ensure warranty etc.

After nearly 5 years of good use the head release button had broken on the head of the vacuum (IZ251UK). I contacted Shark customer service who advised, after receipt of a photo of the item, that as the vac was still under warranty they'd send me a replacement head. It arrived next day. Customer service doesn't get much better than this. Well done Shark UK.

Great vacuum cleaners whilst they are working. Break down when out of warranty. Tried to buy parts for NV602UK. Can only buy half a complete unit, for the sake of the rear flexi-hose from floor nozzle which perishes and breaks. After-market part £6.99 on Amazon - tricky to remove and fit, but restored 3yr old vacuum to as-new performance. Brush motor packed in on our other NV602 after exactly two years. Not available to buy - only complete floor nozzle at £70! Built in obsolescence of the worst kind. Sustainability? Carbon footprint? Plastic and electronics to landfill? Not consumer or environmentally friendly company.

I never ever do reviews but I really felt if you were someone like me that this review might help- I have had a Miele cord hoover for the last 8 years- amazing! ButI was so bored of the cord and the inconvenience it causes dragging up stairs etc- my husband was totally against cordless- less power etc!!! I did my research and worked on him- I bought the IZ4020 shark hoover and honestly it is literally the best hoover I have ever had and the husband agrees!!! It has equally has the same if not more power as the Miele and leaves the carpet as if it was brand new- awesome on tiles and wood too- the clean sense actually does what it should and picks up every thing!!! my only criticism would be is that it is too heavy too stand on its own- you have to lean it against something!!! but I can deal with that when it does the job so so well!!! I opted double battery because that works for us better- we charge a battery- use a battery vice versa!!!

Shark hoover is a game changer if you have dogs, fantastic with hairs, and when my mums shark stopped picking up after a couple of years, rang shark up and they talked me through the fault and sent us a new part out next day, wouldn't use any other now 👍

I purchased my Shark in 2023 had no problems till this week. It started whistling from the top by the collection container. Did an online report and they sent me a new top end with out any questions.

I purchased a shark power detect that gave up less than 6months later, contacted customer support who sent the wrong replacement part when contacted they apologised and advised that the replacement part was not available and that the whole unit would be replaced 4 weeks on and no replacement received contacted customer support who advised they had not yet sent out the replacement. Frustrating and disappointing after spending over £400 on the initial unit and the customer service is as useful as a chocolate teapot, reading from a script unable to answer questions and not interested in resolving the problem . I would recommend anyone thinking about purchasing a shark vacuum to opt for an alternative brand !

Vacuums that are produced are of such poor quality, I'd rather cut my arm off and sell it for 20p than buy or use another one.

I recently had a really good experience with Shark customer service. A couple of weeks back my hoover started to make an unusual noise which gradually got worse. Shark attempted to diagnose it over the phone and sent out a new hose. This wasn't the issue and after a second call, the handler diagnosed the problem to be the motor. Both times the items were sent out quickly and without question. It is really reassuring when a company honours their warranty in easy and hassle free way. The hoover is now fixed, with brilliant suction and no noise.

Shocking customer service. I contacted them as our Hoover snapped which seems to be a common problem. They replied initially with a few questions then complete radio silence. I’ve chased them

I bought shark vacuum cleaner over a year ago and now I can give honest review.
Except the folding part twice each time I had excellent customer service Inc advance. Replacements came quickly even with first time they helped me to register my hoover! I was impressed as usually if you not register your warranty you done but not with shark.
Is big heaver than Dyson V6 or V8 but has light and sent also double brushes so is not spraying bits around but really suck them in.
Highly recommended especially when sales are on.

I bought a
Shark Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro Cordless Vacuum [Double Battery] IZ420UKT for £300 in August, the motor smelt of burning and stopped working back in October. Shark did replace the motor but it now doesn’t pick anything up. It just spits the dirt all over the floor. I have contacted shark twice via their online troubleshooting guide and was told someone would get in contact within 6 working hours. No one has contacted me. I am left £300 out of pocket and a hoover that doesn’t work. This is not acceptable. I did ask for a replacement but I now just want my money back. I would not recommend Shark at all. Very disappointed customer.

Been waiting over 2 weeks for a delivery from shark and evertime i phone them get nothing but lies. They try to blame evri for there incompetence but tracking clearly shows evri not received parcel. There customer service is terrible.

I ordered a vacuum cleaner online from Shark. Then Shark unilaterally cancelled the order with no reason given. I have asked for clarification but Shark have not responded. Meanwhile in placing the order I was offered a 'free gift' of three bottle of wine which made the purchase seem particularly good value. Too late I realised I had been signed up for a subscription service with another company which required a phone call to cancel.

Shark by name.....

Nearly three years ago I bought a Shark cordless vacuum. In August I wanted to purchase a new floorhead but it was out of stock. In November I contacted them again as it still was not in stock. At first they said they would replace the whole machine as they could not say when it would be in stock. After going backwards and forwards with their demands for proof of purchase they then decided they wanted the original invoice, I only had the delivery advicewhich had all the relevant info on that they would need but apparently not good enough. They eventually told me they machine had been discontinued. I resent being made to feel I was trying to con them in some way when all I wanted to do was purchase a replacement part, being offered a replacement machine then wriggling out of it. So the machine which is not three years old yet is destined for the recycling centre.

I bought from SHRAK THE CLEANING CARPET and os faulty I did refund after 10 days when I received the machine , I haven’t get the money back until now . My finance was pays regular on the day . I haven't received my money back despite calling 10 times since June. The last time I called at the beginning of November, they told me they would resolve the issue with the bank PayPal’s that provided the loan, but they are just covering for each other.
Naw I have to get the layer to resolve the problem
