Sheenco Travel exceeded our expectations from start to finish. My husband and I had a grand time in Scotland. All our transport—cars, ferries, trains—happened without a single hitch. The accommodations were as advertised, lovely, comfortable, with impeccable service. Most of all our guide, Gerry Toner, was exceptionable. It was like traveling with an old friend who knew all the cool places to visit. Sheenco Travel took care of all the little details that make the difference between a great trip and a travel nightmare. These guys do it right!

Four years ago 17 family members and I had this spectacular Ireland vacation, which was put together by Genevieve and her amazing team. When I was asked to arrange a Scotland getaway for 10, Sheenco Travel was at the top of my list. Arranging a group tour is extremely stressful and difficult when expectations are high and different budgets need to be considered. I researched three companies but Genevieve came through AGAIN. Her quick replies to emails, personal calls, rearranging the itinerary and hotel suggestions to lower the cost but not affect the experience, was truly unbelievable. All worries were being looked after and I was completely comfortable knowing that Sheenco Travel was there for us. The private driver, large van, customize itinerary, and wonderful accommodations were perfect in every way.
This review could not be complete without a huge thank you and a ton of appreciation to our driver Gary Arthurs ( ctc-Creative Travel Connections). Two weeks with ten enthusiastic, vocal and, at times, loud Canadians can probably have you questioning your job choice, but Gary was always there for us. Changing the itinerary to accommodate two extra days to visit the McBeath and McNab former grounds, while still viewing all of our original wishes, was beyond our expectations. Applecross was an adventure on its own...Gary handled the roads like a super star and Killin was absolutely beautiful. Allowing our family members the opportunity to look upon there ancestral grounds, walk among their tomb stones and gain knowledge of their past was a blessing...a priceless gift. Gary's knowledge, kindness, quick wit, awesome sense of humour, patience, professionalism and over all Scottish warmth made our trip unforgettable. Great pick Genevieve!!

Sheenco Travel worked with me for a year to plan a trip to Scotland with my sister and 5 nieces. This was a trip of a lifetime for all of us and everything was top notch. Transports were on time to pick us up at the airport and at the hotel. Our private tour guide, Maurice McKendrick was the best and I highly recommend him. This adventure that Sheenco Travel helped me to plan included everything we wanted to experience in Scotland. I could never have done this on my own. They thought of everything. They are the best.

Jerry, our Scotland driver picked us up at Inverness. He was not the one I was expecting but he was great and we enjoyed him very much. I was used to vans in Ireland with all front facing seats and a speaker so we were a bit disappointed. We contacted the bus company and were told that no bus in Scotland had speakers and if we wanted a larger van with enough seats facing forward that we would have to have another driver so we chose to stay with Jerry. He was delightful and very knowledgeable of the area. I would request him again.

Sheenco Travel again did an excellent job once again in planning our trip to Scotland. Inverlochy Castle was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. It was charming and we all participated in the tasting menu our first night. The rooms were very large and comfortable with hidden TV in each room. Lots of amenities and services not found in most hotels. The Jacobite Train ride was a highlight and our meal in Maillag was enjoyable as well as the view. On the way to the Isle of Skye we enjoyed Lobster by the sea and took pictures at Eilean Donan Castle. We toured Stirling Castle en route to Edinburgh.

We enjoyed the Waldorf Astoria Hotel very much. Our rooms overlooked the Castle and were well appointed. The staff very accommodating and went out of the way to please. I would
Highly recommend this hotel. Our driver was right on time to drive us to the airport after a very satisfying 6 nights in Scotland. This was not my first trip with Sheenco and it won’t be my last.
I have already planned my next trip to Ireland in the Spring of 2018. Sheenco Travel does an
Outstanding job in every way to plan your trip and it is a comfort to know that they are available at any time to assist you while on your trip. I contacted them twice on this trip and they were helpful even in the midst of a storm in Ireland where they had no electricity.

I contacted Sheenco Travel after investigating companies that could arrange a private driver for our trip. I was not disappointed. Everything was planned in advance. They arranged the hotels, itinerary, tours, dinner arrangements, etc. Everything worked like clockwork from pickup at Dublin Airport to drop off at Shannon Airport. We had taken a lovely tour last year with a group and found it too rushed. This was perfect. Our driver improvised when the weather was not cooperating. We saw what our driver called "the real Ireland". We had a great time thanks to the advance planning that Sheenco did. I highly recommend them.

With the best guidance, knowledgeable suggestions and willingness to achieve our objectives, Sheenco Travel did an outstanding job. Each staff member was familiar with our itinerary so any phone calls were addressed sooner that later. We would certainly recommend them to our friends and family that would want to visit Ireland and take in the 'best of.'

One of the best decision we made was to select Sheenco Travel to handle our three weeks trip to England, Ireland and Scotland by putting together a personal itinerary for two couples who wanted to see the countryside of each destination more so than spending time in the big cities. We also wanted to have a car that is big enough for four people and their luggage with a driver who is also a guide and can direct us to places that we should see based on our preferences. We also asked to stay at castles that are top-of-the-line, dine in fine restaurants and see some unique sites and shows in the places we visited.
Sheenco’s staff were top notch in every which way (Genevieve Sheehan/owner, Colin, Ruth, Nicola, Clare and Caroline). They were always prompt and available when we planned the trip, during and after the trip, to make sure all is going well and to our liking.
We highly recommend this company when you are looking for top service and having a great, memorable trip.

Sheenco Team was very helpful in all aspects of the planning stages and since this was our first time travelling abroad they gave ideas on how much gratuity, possible spending allowances per day and when we had started getting reservations and decided to add 1 more person to our trip they didn't hesitate and got all the information needed in less than 24 hours

We had a Great Time and Great Vacation full of New Memories, I will use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to travel

There is something that my husband and I would like to add.
The quality of a company or hired professional is evident when a solution to a problem is handled with ease and professionalism, after the final bill has been paid.
Your company did that flawlessly.
Ireland and Scotland are being considered more regularly as destination points for several reasons; golf, shows like Outlander as well as Game of Thrones and finally, our personal reason...the lack of a terrorist threat. I believe that these 2 countries will continue to see a shift in their tourism numbers.
I know that you can count on the 4 of us to give 5 star recommendations .

My mother and I absolutely loved our castle-hopping week in Ireland. The size of the tour was just right, and our hotels went beyond expectations. The amount time spent on the bus was a bit more than we'd anticipated, but we had such a great overview of the country with our knowledgeable guide and saw so many little sights that otherwise we'd probably never have found on our own, that it was well worth it.

We went on a 2 week trip to Ireland and Scotland with another couple. Sheenco was excellent. The tour they designed gave us a great feel for the two countries. Accommodations were great, especially Inverlocky Castle in Scotland. Our guides in Ireland, James, and Scotland, Gerry, were both great- talkative, informative and knowledgeable. We had a couple of issues during the trip but Sheenco handled them quickly and appropriately.

We told Sheenco Travel what we wanted to see & do in Scotland and they put together an absolutely fantastic trip! Having a private driver took all the stress out of driving on the opposite side of the road & gave us a chance to enjoy the countryside without worry. Our driver, Douglas Allison, was amazing with suggestions of hidden places to visit and knowledgable about what we were seeing. Looking forward to our next trip to Scotland!

We had a wonderful experience with Sheenco travel and their handling of our trip to Scotland. Every detail of the trip went smoothly from the booking, to the gentleman who picked us up at the airport, our outstanding driver/ guide, Andy, who was so much fun! I highly recommend this company! From the driver pick-up at the airport to hotels and service this company gave was five star ! Sheenco took my limited list of what I wanted to see in Ireland and turned it into the greatest two week vacation imaginable . Both my wife and I had the most stress free travel through Ireland , everything was taken care of for us ! All we had to do is drive from one town to the next , taking in the sights along the way , and we knew our accommodation at our next stop would be flawlessly ready .
