The highlight of my summer was traveling to Ireland with my family under the expert guidance of Sheenco Travel. It all started with a comment in 2013 from my 72 year old father who said that only place he wished he had seen was Ireland. It started a process with me and my sister to make it happen. I searched various tour companies and got three different quotes from three different travel agencies. We decided on Sheenco Travel and from that point on the experience has been MAGICAL! We started the process with Genevieve Sheehan at Sheenco Travel. She spent the time finding what and where we wanted to do and see. We were open to any suggestions since no one in our group beside myself had been to Ireland. Genevieve recommended an extraordinary 10-day luxury chauffeur vacation with castle stays and beautiful hotel accommodations. After the trip was planned, I had help every step of the way from the outstanding staff including Ruth, Nicola, and Clare. From arrival to departure, Sheenco Travel had everything in order. The few hiccups were addressed quickly by the helpful staff. Anything we needed, from food reservations to tours, was handled with stellar customer service. The BEST part of the trip was our driver, Danny McCarthy. He was an insightful, jovial Irishman full of history, stories and an occasional ballad! We wanted to pack Danny up and take him home after spending a week with him. He was fantastic. The Davenport and Malton Hotel stays were top notch locations that were perfect to explore the areas of Dublin and Killarney. The most breath-taking event was the stay at Ashford Castle. I am still speechless… stunning castle, beautiful rooms, and breathtaking grounds. You felt transported to another time. If you have a chance, do the Hawk Walk! The experience being so close to these spectacular raptors was astounding. The trip was phenomenal…. the sites, sounds and tastes of Ireland have made a lasting impression on our family. I would highly recommend Sheenco Travel to anyone expecting to make a memory of a lifetime. Sheenco Travel will be my go-to travel agency for the MANY more trips we are already planning on taking in Ireland, Scotland and England. I have already recommended them to all my friends.

Sheenco Travel went over and above to make our trip to Ireland special. Their expert knowledge of the locations and arranging travel throughout the trip made for wonderful family vacation. We will definitely be using them on our return trip to this beautiful country.

I've gone on 2 castle tour vacations with Sheenco Travel, and both times were absolutely perfect! The locations we visited on the tour were breathtaking, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! The castle accommodations make you feel like pure royalty, and all service was of the highest standard! If you want to take a vacation where you'll have memories to cherish for the rest of your life, you should book with Sheenco Travel! I highly recommend them! :)

Thanks to Genevieve and her team, we had a wonderful trip to Ireland. She customized the tour to include destinations specifically important to my husband and me, even though they were not on a regular itinerary. The team stayed in touch, checking in during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Always courteous and friendly, no detail too small, no request too much to fulfill, Genevieve ensured we enjoyed a memorable introduction to a delightful country.

My wife and I had the luck of the Irish when we booked our trip to Ireland with Sheenco Travel. We toured Ireland in a Mercedes Benz and visited many supurb sites with incredible drives and walks and the green, green countryside. The accommodations were in restored castles and were the experience of a lifetime. The driver of the van became our friend and he was most knowledgeable and provided excellent service. I would use Sheenco again without any hesitation.

In August, 2016, we completed a fantastic week in Ireland arranged by Sheenco. It included six days with a tour guide/driver and van, and eight nights booked at hotels. The rooms were exactly as requested, all four or five star establishments. We complement our driver, Mike Dooley. He placed Ireland in an historical and cultural perspective with stories and visits to the appropriate spots. We were rarely on a schedule and could stop for as long or short a time as we thought appropriate. We were traveling as a group of four with very different physical prowess. Mike found places for the more active to hike or golf while the others were able to move at a more leisurely pace. We were always able to find appropriate places to eat, without being tied to a specific spot. Our van was roomy and extremely comfortable, but with one of us in the third seat, we would have benefitted from a speaker device. We were able to enjoy the countryside without ever having to navigate, or more important, worry about driving on the left side. Sheenco promptly responded to our requests, emails, and telephone calls.

We loved our trip to Ireland several years ago and plan to return this year (2017). Of course I used Sheenco Travel again since they did an outstanding job on our previous visit.

We really enjoyed the trip that Sheenco planned for us. We spent two weeks exploring Scotland and Ireland, and Sheenco staff were so helpful with the recommendations on "must see" places. They also arranged for accommodations that were amazing. Each one was memorable in their own way. We enjoyed working with Sheenco so much that we have asked them to plan our 2018 vacation to England and Wales. We would recommend them without hesitation!

We can't say enough good things about Genevieve and the entire staff at Sheenco Travel whom we used for what started out as a guy's golf trip to Ireland in August of 2016, but soon morphed into a complex set of travel requirements once our wives found out and wanted to come along but not play. Genevieve's detailed knowledge of the golf venues throughout the country is very impressive and spot on. The itinerary they planned for the wives integrated nicely with our golf and the days we didn't play. Since we didn't want to drive in Ireland, Sheenco arranged for a van and driver, who really added a lot to the trip (Ask for Kenny). We had a minor issue with the van they sent at the start of the trip, but that was quickly addressed and had larger sized vehicles than we booked after notifying Sheenco of the problem. Accomodations throughout the trip met or exceeded everyone's expectations, even though our requirements were extensive and limiting in some cases. They recommended restaurants in each city and booked reservations for us even in the ones we came up with. )They even arranged for a birthday cake to be made at a local bakery and delivered to the restaurant we were dining at one evening along our route at the request of my daughter who called them before we left.
Also Sheenco had an 800 number in the States. Other travel companies we contacted initially in Ireland did not offer this.They often answered the phone after normal business hours too, which made it easier to communicate with them given the time difference.

Outstanding Service! I've worked with Genevieve and her staff for self-drive trips in Ireland and Scotland, and could not have been more pleased. Their recommendations are based on personal experience, and were always spot on. I've recommended them to many friends, and absolutely plan to use them again.

Excellent service from start to even after finish - as we needed some help upon returning home with a travel insurance claim due to a cancelled flight, and Sheenco was at our side to a successful conclusion. Knowledgable, nice people, excellent properties, great driver, all good (except the weather).

Sheenco Travel is fantastic! My husband & I used Sheenco for a castle tour in Ireland and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Our driver was knowledgeable & a great conversationalist. We plan to use them again for a Scotland tour in the next few years.

Genevieve setup a great combo trip to Ireland and Scotland. This was our first trip driving in Europe and the arrangements worked great. We drove from the east coast of Ireland to the west coast, then flew over to Edinburgh Scotland. In Scotland we drove to Portree - one of the most beautiful drives we've ever experienced. My parents had been to Scotland so we had custom ideas and Genevieve was awesome incorporating our preferences of places and accommodations into the trip. Thanks Genevieve, unforgettable.

We had a wonderful vacation the summer of 2016 traveling to Scotland and Ireland. Everything was arranged for us. The drivers were amazing. We were completely spoiled! Would definitely use you again! Thank you!

My husband and I travel for New Year's Eve with another couple every year to Castles and historic hotels. This year it was the castles in Ireland and we were thrilled with the accomodations that Sheenco Travel arranged for us. The party was at Dromoland Castle and we couldn't have been more pleased. The castles were perfect and the right distance between them. The suggestions for activities in each area were much appreciated. I recommend them very highly and hope to use them again.

We travelled to Ireland for a week organised by Geneveive in 2015. It was a fantastic week from start to finish. Everything was organised really well. Our driver Gerry was very good. The hotels we stayed in were great especially Ashford Castle. The highlight of my visit was Cong village in Co. Mayo where the film The Quiet Man was made. It is one of my all time favourite films and there was so much memorabilia and we even had lunch in A cafe used for filming scenes in the pub. My husbands favourite on the other hand was Jamesos Whiskey Distillery Tour which was really interesting as well. The only problem we had was one of the hotels booked turned out not to be disabled friendly but one phone call and we were sorted straight away. Whats more the hotel gave us dinner while they sorted it out then the manager drove us to the other hotel sorted our luggage and everything so although it was a bit of a nuisance because we were very tired that day it was handled superbly. I would definitely book with these again it was a very memorable trip

My husband and I did a self drive tour of Scotland but didn't want to deal with making all the reservations. Sheenco took care of everything (Genevieve specifically I believe) including the car rental and finding us wonderful places in the cities/towns we requested. When we arrived at the airport there was a driver waiting for us to take us to our first hotel in Edinburgh. Then when we left after a few days we picked up our rental with no issue (and were upgraded at no extra cost). Driving places took a little longer than we'd expected in some places because we kept stopping (so much to see!) so I emailed Genevieve and she contacted the hotels to let them know we'd be checking in late. It was nice to have someone to depend on in a foreign country. Not only that, they couldn't get a certain hotel at our last stop so we were upgraded to a five star place that was absolutely lovely. We hope to go back to Scotland in the next two years and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Incredible family trip to Ireland! Everything we asked for was arranged for us with tips and a personal touch. We would do it again.
