This is kind of performance is not only for eyes and ear but way more than that is for you soul.

My family and I attended Shen Yun at Lincoln Center on April 3rd, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the very first scene to the finale, the show kept us completely engaged — the transitions between pieces were so seamless that the two and a half hours flew by in what felt like no time at all. Honestly, when it ended, we all wished there was more.
One thing that really stood out this year was the digital backdrop. The way performers seemed to leap right into the screen and then reappear back on stage was incredible — it felt so lifelike that it blurred the line between the real and the virtual. I'm not sure how they do it, but the effect was truly magical.
If you're looking for a night out that's visually stunning, culturally rich, and genuinely uplifting, I highly recommend Shen Yun. We're already hoping to go again next year!

I and my family had the best time when we visited Taiwan and watch this show. I was amazed by the incredible dance technique of the dancers there, just like they were flying. They used a lot of skills like wukong or something like that, with storytelling through each stage. There was a story of a Monkey King in China, a dance from Mongolian, dance from the Devine. I really enjoye and love it. I will come back to another show in the future. ❤️❤️❤️

Shen Yun Performing Arts is a breathtaking journey through five millennia of traditional Chinese culture. From the moment the curtain rises, the audience is transported into a world of ethereal beauty and sublime artistry.

I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to see Shen Yun in Taiwan at the end of March 2025. It was an unforgettable experience for me. I felt nostalgic for the TV series Journey to the West, with the picturesque scenes on the Shen Yun stage evoking the origin of life. In addition, there were bel canto singing performances and live instruments. The energy of the entire auditorium was filled with brightness, goodness, and hope. I will definitely take my family to see Shen Yun next season.

Shen Yun is the Best show in the world to me! I went to see it at Lincoln Center, NYC. it's dances, music, lyrics, backdrops, story lines and everything is perfect!

The show is amazing. I have seen it for several years. The stage performance is beyond imagination. From choreography, to colorful brilliant costumes to story telling, the athletic men dance performance to the graceful women dance. A full program of 20 pieces in 2 hours to emerge yourself in China before communist China.
Everybody should see it, at least once in a lifetime. The spiritual message of hope and kindness in humans, created by God, living for a higher purpose is what makes Shen Yun so outstanding in a world where atheism rules.

The digital backdrop that they use for story telling, expanding the stage into a computer animated digital world brings a whole new dimension to tell a story and describe what Chinese culture is about, myths, history, legends....

Went with my family back in January. This is not just your normal show- this is a whole experience. Every year I watch and see the dazzling performances and I just think to myself: wow. This is a must see!

No.1 show, different place, I have seen some different shows, today is the first show in Albany. I enjoyed it so much!

I had never experienced anything quite like watching Shen Yun. First of all, the dancers’ performances were incredible—it's clear they must have trained extremely hard to achieve such precision and consistency.

The costumes and the digital backdrop were truly extraordinary; it felt like being transported into another world. I was completely amazed by the beauty of the show, even though I had seen advertisements beforehand. The storyline, centered around positive values in life, was deeply meaningful. It inspires faith in the goodness of the world and can even change one’s perspective on life.

I first attended the show alone, and then decided to bring my whole family to see it a second time. This is truly something you should not miss!
I’ve read that the Chinese Communist Party strongly opposes this performing arts group, even going as far as harassment and making threats toward theaters that host their shows. It makes me wonder if there is something they are trying to hide, and whether Shen Yun is exposing something that makes them uneasy.

For such a high-quality performance, I was quite surprised to see many one-star reviews. When I looked into them, I realized that some of those reviewers had never actually seen the show. Their comments felt repetitive and unnatural, almost as if they were being paid or instructed to write those reviews.

The show is amazing, I watched the show in Taiwan and Japan, great experience. Highly recommended.

Our family watch Shen Yun every year, and we always see at least twice each year. It is truly the best reward for a year of hard work.

Through the performance, our children are able to learn about traditional Chinese culture—authentic Chinese culture that can no longer be experienced in mainland China today. We deeply cherish this opportunity!

Our children have been watching Shen Yun since the age of four. Even during the two-hour performance, they have never felt bored. They stay engaged and excited from beginning to end—it is truly a visual feast!
