A Complete Failure - DO NOT USE

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly warrants one.

I used Sherpa as a private customer (not a business), expecting a straightforward same-day delivery within the advertised 4-hour window. Unfortunately, the service failed at the most basic level.

The collection was booked for 10am, but the driver did not arrive until around 4pm. As a result, the delivery could not be completed because the recipient had already closed for the day. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a time-sensitive delivery.

From there, the situation escalated. The parcel was automatically returned, incurring an additional fee of $60. I then attempted to resend the package multiple times, but the same issue occurred again — delayed collection leading to failed delivery.

In the end, what should have been a simple single delivery ended up costing me over $300.

What’s most frustrating is not just the failure itself, but how it was handled. Sherpa relied heavily on process — dashboards, notifications, and “standard operating procedures” — rather than acknowledging the clear breakdown in service. There was no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation or offer a fair outcome, despite the repeated failures.

As a customer, you reasonably expect that if you book a 4-hour delivery window, the service will operate within that timeframe. In this case, it simply didn’t — repeatedly.

I understand that logistics can be complex and delays can happen. However, when the same issue occurs multiple times and results in significant cost to the customer, it’s no longer a minor inconvenience — it’s a fundamental failure of the service.

I would strongly caution individuals, particularly those using Sherpa for personal deliveries, to think carefully before relying on them. Based on my experience, the lack of reliability and accountability makes it a very costly risk.

Lousy serivce and app

Lousy serivce and app. They ask you if you will be at the delivery address but don't tell you what it is. How do you confirm you will be somewhere which is not known to you. They have a chat bot which is COMPLETELY USELESS.

Terrible,

Our experience with Sherpa raises serious concerns about integrity and consumer protection. We provided a firm, non-negotiable pickup window, communicated it in writing, and verbally confirmed it with a representative who assured us it would not be an issue. Despite this, Sherpa approved a pickup date outside that range and immediately charged our card $2,000 — non-refundable.

This was not a simple oversight. It was a direct violation of what was promised and an exploitation of “non-refundable” fine print. A company that disregards explicit customer instructions and then locks clients into thousands of dollars of non-recoverable charges cannot be considered trustworthy. In our case, Sherpa’s conduct felt predatory, not professional.

This company has no any professional…

This company has no any professional support and no complaint handling process. Never listen any issues from driver. Using completely rubbish app may be developed by some school boys. I don’t think they know how the organisation operates. Rather work for them would be much better to go with UBER. Send you warnings without any evidence whereas their representatives behaviours are completely sxxxx. Stop work for Sherpa.
