Exquisite outfit made by Shibumi for me to wear to the Coronation, beautiful Bardot Silk dress in Star, and luxurious Lyra coat in Narnia fabric. They both fitted so well and were lovely to wear to such an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Annabel Allen made me a hat to match using some Narnia fabric, it is so lovely that they can work to support each other like this.
I really enjoyed the day I came to the studio to try different garments on and choose from the gorgeous fabrics available. I thoroughly recommend this company and look forward to wearing my outfit again soon.

I was a nervous mother of the groom ordering a Devi coat from across the ocean for a wedding in May. To start, the costumer service was exemplary. My beautiful coat was perfect. The fabric and cut were exquisite. They delivered on time. I felt like a princess without outshining my beautiful new daughter -in -law. The colors blended perfectly into her wedding palette. I will recommend Shibumi Style to anyone here who wants that classic elevated look.

I was looking for a jacket for a special occasion and came across Shibumi. I was immediately bowled over by their range of stunning and unusual fabrics and the beautiful classic and up-to-date styles. I vacillated about which to go for but eventually plumped for the utterly divine Nina blazer in rich ruby red. I needed some help with which size to go for as I am broad backed and slim waisted and they were so helpful, replying promptly and comprehensively. When the light-as-air jacket arrived a few weeks later (made to order so don't expect next-day delivery) I was over the moon. The quality of the fabric and tailoring is unsurpassed and I felt amazing wearing the jacket. I can't praise this company enough and I will certainly be back to order another jacket I've been pining for. I definitely recommend Shibumi with no reservations.

I can’t say enough good things about Shibumi. They are a pleasure to work with. Their patience is limitless, helping an overseas customer who will likely never set foot in their shop, with sizing and order updates. The clothing is gorgeous, beautiful fabrics, beautiful craftsmanship, and delivered when promised.

After looking at their reversible silk dressing gowns for a while, I took the plunge and ordered one. They were upfront about the lead in time and kept in touch throughout the 6 week wait. Delivery was by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed and it arrived the day after dispatch. The dressing gown is gorgeous. The stitching and seams are perfect and it looks as beautiful as it did online. It's genuinely reversible and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service with knowledgeable staff. The entire experience was great from the appointment and individual attention, to a relaxed atmosphere with no hard sell approach. If you like the look of the clothes you will be happy when you visit. I also liked the fact the merchandise was different to the high street stores. I was so pleased to find what I was looking for for my daughter’s wedding.

Living near to Shibumi’s office afforded me the luxury of a trip to their show room with my outfit to try on some coats with my dress. Although the exact coat was not in the show room, Tyley guided me through the process and the outcome is sensational! We went for the express delivery and my full length Aquila coat in ‘Tahiti’ arrived in 4 weeks, beautifully packed and just heaven.
The whole experience was attentive, professional and calmly efficient. It’s such good value for such a beautiful and original item. I already had a coat from some 10 years ago and I would definitely have more. Beautifully made in gorgeous fabrics. Indeed, as the message card in my parcel said, “why fit in when you were born to stand out!”

My mother and I visited the showroom by appointment in 2021 to order her a dress and short jacket for a family wedding in June 2022. We had already had a number of swatches for her to consider, so she had a good idea of what she wanted. The staff were lovely and so considerate as she has limited mobility. Her ordered dress had bespoke measurements but she was able to try on an example together with the jacket. Her outfit arrived at her home a few weeks later and she was and is thrilled. The fabrics are beautiful and, just as importantly, the dress fits perfectly. Shibumi provide not only an excellent service but beautiful and unique clothing and my mother was so thrilled that she's ordered a new dress and jacket for another family wedding next year. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Easy to use and very creative web site which clearly shows all the variations of the most beautiful clothes in the most exquisite fabrics. The team were so helpful in sending samples from which to choose my perfect match to an unusual coloured dress. When my jacket arrived I was amazed at the quality of workmanship, the softness and colours of the fabric were even more than I had envisaged. It is also an incredibly flexible jacket and will give me so much pleasure in wearing it with many different outfits. I would recommend Shibumi Style to anyone. Whether you are lucky enough to live close enough to visit their showroom, or like me have to do it through the internet, the end result would be the same, you will end up with an article of clothing that will give so much pleasure on many different levels.

I found my perfect "Mother of the Groom" outfit at Shibumi. Their clothes are stylish and elegant but not over fussy - something you can certainly wear again. I had so many compliments about my outfit on the day and felt very special.

My daughter is getting married and I was online searching for interesting Mother of the Bride outfits when I came across Shibumi. I live in the US and I was worried about ordering clothes that I couldn't see in person, and that we based on UK sizing. I contacted Ruth, the owner, and she was very helpful. I ultimately purchased a coat and matching cigarette pants--they are gorgeous! I bought a waistcoast for my husband to wear at the wedding- a beautiful garment made of spectacular fabric. I cannot say enough about Shibumi and Ruth--I plan to purchase additional garments for future special occasions.

Had a Shibumi jacket made in wedgewood blue cashmere. It was AMAZING! Comfortable to wear and the material feather-light but warm enough for crossover seasons. I should mention that I’m overweight (size 20) but still felt fabulous! Thank you Shibumi!

This is such a beautiful coat! It is so well made and the compliments came all night long. Their customer service is outstanding and I would highly recommend adding this piece to your wardrobe!

I absolutely love my Shibumi nehru coat and got loads of compliments when I wore it to host the Business Book Awards. When I then had a slight problem with the sizing of a new nehru long jacket, I got the most amazing customer service from Ruth herself. She took charge of the problem, responded to all my questions and in the end made me a completely new jacket. With such beautiful products and such personal and responsive customer service, this certainly won't be the last Shibumi jacket I'll be ordering.

I had a Jacket and waistcoat made by Shibumi for my wedding in July 22. I wanted something different and colourful and superb quality and even in London where I live, could find nothing near to what I was after. Then I discovered Shibumi from my Google Research and SO happy that I did. From the moment I went to the Shibumi studio, I knew that they were going to be what I was looking for. Incredible range of wonderful silks, great designs for men and stunning quality. I had no end of compliments from guests at our wedding and the clothes looked and felt amazing.
