Test and it works!

When my SYB phone pouch finally landed on my doorstep, I couldn't wait to see if it really lived up to the hype. I conducted a little experiment to test the pouch with my EMF meter at first it didn't; work but I contacted their support team and they explained that I was not measuring ambient EMF in the room!! I moved to a room far from my router and the test worked! The drop in radiation level was way more than what I was thinking. Great product and great customer support!

Defective Unit & Horrible Customer Service

Two weeks ago, I ordered two sets of SYB Air Tube Headset Black 3.5mm connector for two iPhone 7's according to the SYB official site's instructions. One set works using the Lightening connector provided by Apple with the phones, the other set does not work; sound is poorly transmitted through only one tube on this unit. I tried the second SYB unit on my iPhone with my Lightening connector, and both tubes transmit much clearer sound. Additionally, I tried the first SYB unit on a second iPhone 7 with its Lightening connector with same problematic results. Obviously, I received a defective SYB unit.
I contacted SYB customer service via email and relayed the above information, and requested an RMA and pre-paid return postage label. In the email response, I was told that Lightening connectors are not always reliable and to test the SYB unit in question on a laptop. I don't have a laptop, and purchased the SYB units only for my iPhone 7 and my wife's. Testing the defective unit on a device on which I do not own, and will not use is, therefore, irrelevant. I emailed this response back. A Systems Operation Manager responded that she was clarifying that the customer service rep gave me specific instructions. Like I don't know that? She stated that SYB would resolve the problem but gave no indication of any logical steps she would actually take to resolve the problem.
Looking very closely at the SYB official site, and you will see that it is not clear about the use of their products with Apple products. I think this is because SYB is not officially licensed by Apple for accessory use. That may be the reason for SYB disparaging Apple Lightening connectors.
I'm out $39 on a unit that my wife intended to use while receiving medical treatment. My only option is to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge for non-refund of a defective unit.

I have personally reviewed your wife's communication history with my customer support team.

First, I would note that you were issued a complete refund for your purchase of this product– before you posted this review. So I am unclear why you would say that you need to file a dispute with your credit card company.

This is also why you were not provided with a pre-paid return label. As we did not request that you send back the unit in order to receive your complete refund.

It is certainly possible that you received a defective unit. These things can happen. Which is why we offer a no-questions-asked 30-day return policy–– as well as a lifetime warranty (by far the strongest warranty in the industry) on all of our products. A policy that we honored on your order–– as we do on all orders.

Finally, it is not accurate to say that we disparage Apple anywhere on our website–– or anywhere else. Apple is a fantastic company, who makes fantastic products.

I understand that you are frustrated, and I understand the stress that can come from a spouse experiencing health issues. And once again I regret that your experience with SYB was anything less than to your complete satisfaction.

I wish your wife a fast and complete recovery.

Poor Quality Items But Customer Service Was Able to Resolve

I purchased two of their H.A.R.D headsets with usb-C connection. Both were defective and would not stay connected. They made me jump through all these hoops to prove it was their USB-C adapter that was the issue. They sent me a replacement for 1 of them which is the exact same adapter....zero solution. They need to change the design and stop using that cheap adapter.

I also purchased a picture frame which ended up being one of those cheap acrylic frames with an oversized frayed piece of "nickel & copper coated polyester" mesh piece hanging out of it and unsecured.

Customer service did fully refund my order which was appreciated .
