Terrible scam

Terrible scam - I made the mistake of signing up and emailed within 10 minutes to cancel. No reply then they’ve taken £41. Disaster. Avoid this scam

Subscription scam

Hi,

I’ve had subscription for 7 day trial for $9.99 on 8th June and same day I cancelled it but still they charge another $39.99 on 14th June and when I asked them for refund and contact them still no reply. This is just a scam to grab the money without your consent and nothing else please guys avoid them and just block them whenever you see this app advertising on instagram or any social media. This is behavioural fraud with unauthorized transaction.

Signed up for the 4 week trial for…

Signed up for the 4 week trial for £19.99 and then later learnt after putting in all details another £32.99 gets deducted which was unauthorized. No warnings whatsoever. I immediately cancelled the subscription and will be contacting my bank soon for a reversal on both the transactions.

Another scam

Another scam, I bought the trial for 4 weeks only. After the trial they charge your card for subscription without any reminders. There unsubscribe button was not working. Immediately I contacted them and asked for refund. They refuse to refund.

Excellent Experience

Ally helped me understand why my resume was rejected. She also suggested a few changes. Moreover, my LinkedIn needed a makeover. Above all, she explained why certain job descriptions are not a great match for me.

Worst experience—highly suspicious and…

Worst experience—highly suspicious and completely unresponsive.
I have had a terrible experience with shiff.careers. They send an overwhelming number of automated emails, yet completely ignore direct replies and support inquiries. Worse, I have lost a significant amount of money with zero resolution. Avoid this platform; it feels like a total scam.

They are horrible . Their service is pathetic . They will try to fool you in ordering their subscription . Please be very very careful before deciding to swipe your card and pay them . Refund is a mission possible . Simple advice . Please avoid them

Excellent Career Coaching and Personal Branding Support

Complete waste of time and money

Complete waste of time and money! SCAM! Cancelled within 15 minutes and asked for a refund. Of course they're slow with responding!

UPDATE...Response from shift received 11 hours later:

No refund - No help - Just Ghosting - SCAM

After I paid, I wasn't even able to log in so I could use the service. I sent an email for help, they sent me the simple steps to follow that everybody knows, and of course, I had done all the troubleshooting, but the result was negative.
I asked them to refund the money but they are not answering just ghosting.
The customer service person's name is Faye. I feel they are scammer.
They advertise that you can start with $20 but its not the case. They are just abluff master. There are many hidden fees. Every step you go in application, they ask for extra money.
Stay away with the cheater.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

No help available. No disclosure that they are addicted to LinkedIn (Which is fraud city). Too many barriers to qualify for a refund: complete 30% of program over 7 consecutive days within 10 days of purchase.

Don't trust their advertisements

Don't trust their advertisements. They claim they will help you with tailoring your resume and preparing for interviews to get shortlisted in a month, but it is just a lie.

Once you pay, they just give you some generic information, boring theoretical lessons, and psychological questions about your desires. This is what every applicant already knows! There is no real or direct help for job seekers who are in a rush.

Even their sample CV is completely outdated (last update is 2014!). They put education at the top and experience at the bottom, which no professional recruiter accepts today. Their marketing claims are so far from reality. They just talk and waste your time. Highly do not recommend.

Total Bait-and-Switch

Total Bait-and-Switch - Do Not Recommend:

I signed up for Shift Careers expecting active, day-to-day partnership and live interview exercises with a career counselor. Instead, I was met with dead text modules and automated "homework" assignments.

To make matters worse, after paying out-of-pocket, the next available slot for a live 30-minute coaching session was three weeks out.
For a time-sensitive tech job search, waiting weeks for a single phone call is completely unacceptable.
The platform is designed around automated gatekeeping rather than high-level, tech-focused guidance. I have canceled my subscription and demanded a full refund.

Do not waste your money here if you need real, timely career support.
