Read Update at end - Extremely shady company. I wouldn’t advise anyone to order anything from this company. I made an order expected to ship early October. Nothing warning or heads up nothing shipped. Had to message customer service to find out they are running a month behind and it would ship early November. Nothing. Contacted again said they are delayed another month. Come early December…. Nothing. This time when contacting them responses stopped completely. To this day none of the support tickets opened in December have been responded to. Had to call the credit card company to reverse charges and file a dispute. This company will be bankrupt within a couple years. These types of companies always do. They sell goods to customers that they don’t have always lying about when the customer will actually get the order. Complete amateur garbage company. Save your money or you’ll be in for headaches.
Update: Communication has only gotten worse with automated responses when customer service tickets are opened. I literally can’t stress enough how bad this company is. You will regret any purchase made from this company. With all the shady companies out there it’s still actually shocking how much worse this one is, in any category. Run away from giving these people your money!

This item was brilliant for taking pictures of my phone in a more professional way. Price is good for the quality, I have had cheaper ones that do not compare to the quality of pictures from this. I would definitely recommend this if you are into taking photos with a more professional feel to them.

The idea of the lens on a mobile seemed great (saves taking a bigger camera along) unfortunately the reality didn’t live up. I found it tricky to attach the mount to the phone and when I did the weight of it made it pretty cumbersome and unless to
Lightening it to the possible point of cracking the screen it didn’t feel fully secure. Shame as I really wanted it to be amazing.

If it seems too good to be true… it’s a scam. Do not touch with a barge pole. I placed my order with them on 22Nov and nothing no customer service and I have lost £228. I contacted the at least a dozen times and no response. I had hoped this would be the perfect Xmas present. Unfortunately I didn’t state the year! Looks like everyone has experienced the same non existent customer service and the reviews below are bait.

I placed an order on November 30th as part of their Black Friday sale for a Christmas gift for my mother. It's now December 17th and I haven't heard anything about the status of my order. I did reached out yesterday via their online support ticket and received an automated response that they're "experiencing an exceptionally high volume of enquiries and may take longer than usual to respond to your request."
So at this point I have to assume this order won't arrive before Christmas, which is incredibly frustrating and so disappointing.

Both pieces of kit i bought were, although not cheap, very useful for travelling and have helped bring pro looking photography into my pockets meaning i don't have to carry huge amounts of equipment with me.
They're very much worthwhile, if you can afford them!

Impossible to use on an Android phone!
The materials used make this lens very flimsy and it doesn't feel very well made. The instructions don't give you enough information on how to fit it to a phone that isn't an iPhone and there is nothing online to support fitting it to the phone.
Very difficult to fit and use as wherever I placed it, it blocked the camera and multiple people tried to help me figure it out. Such a shame as I was really excited to try this product.
EDIT: ShiftCam claim to have requested order information but I haven't received this request or any information as to how to contact them.

Shipping has taken much longer than what they promised. Their tracking app is useless (you need to enter a courier name, which Shiftcam doesn't provide). They have no customer service. Three inquiries trying to track my items have not resulted in any message from them other than the robot that acknowledges receipt. I can't seem to get a refund, they just don't respond to messages. Beware!

I was very excited about this Micro lens, but was not impressed after using it. I had to buy a adapter to be able to use it on my phone. The focus is not the best, it has to be at a certain distance (Very close to the object) to focus on the object. The plastic thing around the lens kept falling off. Is hard to get a good shot, had to play around with it to be able to, and is even harder if you're trying to take a video.

I pre-ordered items for the iPhone 16 Nov 2nd and this has been my experience in chronological order:
11/02: I purchase on website and it says shipping pre-orders by EARLY to MID-NOV
11/16: I email ShiftCam wondering where my items are/when they're going to ship
11/18: customer support rep, Lester, emails me saying pre-orders are now shipping END-NOV
11/18: I respond asking for clarification on eta due to having projects I need the items for, for my small business
11/19: Lester tells me shipping will now be END-NOV to EARLY-DEC
11/20: I respond saying I will need a full refund if ShiftCam cannot send out my items immediately
11/21: Lester says oh how lucky its been updated to ship LATE-NOV
11/22: I once again specify I need my items by Dec 3rd, and no later, due to my client projects, and if Shiftcam can't satisfy the order then refund me, its no hard feelings but I placed the order specifically for client related media I needed to grab.
11/25: Lester sends me a filler email.
11/28: I respond to the filler once again saying I need my refund and if they can't expedite shipping to get my items by Dec 3
12/1: Shannah steps in and provides zero assistance aka filler email
12/2: I say I need a phone call because I'm tired of being dicked around by shiftcam. no one calls.
12/3: Lester offers me a free gift for the BS
12/5: I ask for my package tracking as it's now beginning of Dec. I missed my client deadlines, had to refund them their money... at this point I'm so, so, so pissed and now feeling stuck with products since its beginning of Dec and going to receive items from a company that doesn't deliver on their word.
12/6: Lester emails me saying shipping will start MID-DEC but still take 7-14 days to arrive.
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY WHEN THEIR COMPETITORS ARE BETTER: Sandmarc and Motion. Don't waste your time with a company that doesn't deliver on their word and doesn't do a good job rectifying the errors.

**Update Dec 24** - still no shipment. Was promised it would be shipped last week because the iPhone case is in stock. No word. I reached out again and got some sorry excuse that their shipment was delayed and it will be processed immediately and shipped “today” (that was December 23)
No word. I’m thinking I might have to do a charge back and put reviews all over the internet so that other people don’t go through what I just went through with these liars and thieves. It’s almost 8 weeks of these lies.

Shiftcam has the most terrible customer service.
I prepaid for my iPhone 16 camera case with the anticipation I would receive it in 2 weeks as it was going to be mailed out end of October to early November.
I hear noting. I reach out. I get blamed for not reading their website because it clearly states mid to end November. Which was changed without informing the customer.
I then get informed it is now being shipped mid to end December.
To make matters worse, I was informed they would “make it up” to me by sending the lenses I ordered for free because of this delay.
I was supposed to get a tracking number 11/29 and it’s been 10 days since any response and I have followed up a multitude of times.
This company has terrible communication and customer service. I’m sure their product is good considering the reviews but buyer beware…if you want your lenses you might not get them only after several months.
Their chatbot sucks too. Keeps saying “ I don’t know how to answer that.” I ask “I would like to talk to a customer service rep.” And it gives me that dumb ass answer.
ShiftCam get your act together!!!!!!! You are thieves for taking my money and not delivering my product 6 weeks later!!!!!

I placed a Christmas gift order for my wife on 12/2. As of today my order still has not 12/7 shipped. I contacted customer service yesterday @5am PST inquiring when it would ship. No reply from customer service at this point I want to cancel my order but if they haven’t responded to my first message how do I get them to cancel my order.
Update on situation 12/15/2024
I finally heard from customer service on 12/12/2024. They advised me that my order is delayed due to the iPhone 16 case. However they are going to issue an approval to do a partial order shipment so that my wife will have something to open on XMas. The only item that would come after XMas would be the phone case, the lens and other accessories would arrive before XMas. As of today 12/15/2024 the order is still marked as confirmed and there has been zero movement on any form of shipment. So much for my wife having something to open on XMas.

It is interested device, make sure you buy special mount if you want to properly attach to your phone camera. It takes time to learn and play with different settings to get a great picture. It is possible to make some nice photos if you manage to catch right angle. It is not for casual usage I would say.

I bought my ShiftCam on 12 June this year and what a stunning product! I used it on holidays and sports days and became part of my travelling because of the great grip, battery life and ease of taking photo's and selfies. I ran into an issue as my ShiftCam did not want to charge around mid-Nov this year and followed the FAQ's to see if the battery can be replaced but unfortunately not as it is a sealed unit. I reached out to Customer Support on 26th Nov and received a response from Ariana on 29 Nov during the Thanksgiving weekend. I was asked to send a short video and after analyzing the content, they asked for another video with specific instructions which I followed and sent. Ariana came back the next day and informed me that after their technical team's review, they will send a replacement. I was extremely happy and really appreciated their help, support and the quick turnaround. Thank you again ShiftCam Team, you guys are great!!
